TV And Movies Are Not the Bible

It Is Written, Hebrews 11:6,  but without faith it is impossible to please Him;  for he who comes to God must believe that He is a re warder of those who diligently seek Him.
If you needed directions to get to another city, would you ask just anyone on the street?  If you had a serious health problem, would you trust just anybody to cure you?
These questions may seem ridiculous to most of us, and doing those things would be insane.  Believe it or not, many people take even bigger risks without even giving it a thought.
Whether you are a believer or not, consider this.  Eternity is forever. Unbelief does not change that.  The decision you make is real and forever. The other question to ask yourself is your unbelief in eternity based on knowledge from the world?
Let us assume that you do believe in heaven and hell.  Now you have to figure out how to get to heaven.  Remember, your whole future depends on what you believe, and the information you base it on.
There are some choices for information.  You can go by what the world teaches through other people's opinions, you can watch movies and TV, or you can read the Word of God.  If you depend on anything other than the Word of God, you can be in big trouble.
Movies and TV are generally so fictitious, that it is impossible to know God's Word through them.  Some are so inaccurate they do not even remotely follow the Bible.  Whether you are a believer or not, do not judge God's Word by movies and TV.   Read the Word for yourself.  The stakes are too high to mess around or be lazy.  When you reach your destination for eternity, you can't change your mind.
A reminder about the Bible.  Everything in the Bible is the Word of God, and therefore is not open to interpretation or change.  All of us will be judged, according to God's Word, and not according to what someone tells us it is. This is so important, that the most famous, educated people, that ever taught the Bible in the last hundred plus years, all tell us that we should check it out for ourselves, and not take even their word for it.  Good advice. Have a blessed day.  Praise the Lord!
Remember Jesus Loves You
Prayer of Salvation
Lord Jesus, I thank you for what you did on the cross for me.  Your blood washed away all my sins, by your stripes I was healed, your death and resurrection brought me salvation.  Please forgive my sins, and come into my heart as my personal Savior.
Thank You Lord
Amen
