My Time With Jesus Tuesday

Seeds And Weeds

Matthew 13:24-30, Another Parable He put before them saying, the Kingdom of Heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field. While men slept his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way. When the grains had sprouted and produced a crop, then the tares also appeared. So, the Servants of the owner came and said to him, sir did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares? He said to them, an enemy has done this. The servant said to him, do you want us then to go and gather them up? But he said no lest while you gather up the tares you also uproot the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest, and at the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, first gather the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them but gather the wheat into my barn.

When the Lord Jesus Christ was teaching the parable of the wheat and tares, He was teaching something that can easily explain people and their behavior.

Consider this. Babies are born in very large numbers every day. The rest of the population consists of people of all ages. We do not know what babies will be like when they grow up, but we do know what adults are like because of their behavior.

Just as seeds require certain conditions to fulfill expectations, people do too. We cannot look at a seed or a person and make a judgment on how they turn out.

As with anything, some thrive in harsh conditions, but most do not. People are the same way.

Anything is possible. The Lord God Almighty tells us not to judge people because only He really knows each of us. We should never think that this person is saved or that one isn’t. If we can then condemn certain people, it would be like pulling up wheat and weeds together before their time

If we meditate on Proverbs, we will get a good start on our own way to Salvation. Jesus Christ didn’t teach for fun, He taught them to give us examples in terms we could understand.

God bless you and your family.

Praise The Lord!

Remember Jesus loves you.

Prayer of Salvation.

Lord Jesus Christ, I believe you died on the cross and rose again to save me and to forgive all my sins. I ask you to come into my heart as my personal savior. I Repent of those sins, and I thank you and praise you for what you did to make my salvation possible. Amen.

God's Promises Sunday

Only God

John 3:16, For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

The Lord God Almighty cleansed the world of evil by sending a flood to destroy it. Noah and his family were spared because Noah walked with God.

When the flood was over and man began repopulating the Earth it didn’t take very long for evil to get started again, because satan was alive and well.

As time went on things got worse and worse. At that point God sent His only Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, to save man, rather than destroy mankind again. It must have broken the heart of Almighty God to see His children sin every way it was possible.

I can’t compare whether it was more evil then or now. Sin is sin in God’s eyes, so I guess it didn’t matter. We know a very small amount of what the Lord Jesus Christ went through. We can’t possibly realize the spiritual and physical pain, as well as the hate He had to deal with.

We cannot imagine the pain our Father God Almighty felt seeing His only Son treated the way He was. The Love the Lord God Almighty has for us is unimaginable, and that is why we weren’t destroyed permanently.

The difference now is there are many people who love and follow the Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible is the word of God, and shows us who He is, and how loving and forgiving He is. It also shows us that His words are true no matter what.

If you read about Noah, you see that God saved him and his family because he walked with God. Lot and his family were saved because of God’s promise to Abraham. Just two examples of real love, and the fact that God has a way of taking care of his people.

The world we live in is evil and corrupt beyond understanding. If we pray sincerely and ask the Lord Jesus Christ to save us and lead us in everything we do, He will make sure that we are okay.

Amen.

Knowing Almighty God

Hosea 6:3, Let us know, let us pursue the knowledge of the Lord, His going forth is established as the morning; He will come to us like the rain, like the latter and former rain to the earth.

Many people read the Bible the same way they read a novel. When you read the Bible, it is as exciting as you make it. That cannot be said for a novel.

You may be asking yourself, how can I make it exciting when I have trouble understanding it? The answer is simple, and it does work.

Start out with the Book of Matthew. Read one chapter slowly with your full attention. When you finish, read it again, and pay special attention to the words of Jesus. They are usually in red. highlight the verses that speak to you.

Finish your reading for the day, pick out one of the verses you highlighted, and meditate on it as much as possible until you memorize it and totally understand what it’s trying to tell you. Then the next time pick another verse and do the same thing.

After you have memorized these verses, read the gospel again, meditate on putting it all together and see how it applies to your life.

Go through the whole New Testament one chapter at a time, and you will get a real clear picture of who the Lord Jesus Christ is, and how the Bible teaches us about life.

There is no rush, but it must be consistent. Your faith will grow, your prayers will be more powerful, and you will realize how knowing God will get you through your life on this Earth.

What I always do before I read the Bible, I ask the Holy Spirit to help me know and understand what I read, and to make things pop out at me.

Psalm 9: 10, and those who know Your name will put their trust in You; for You, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You.

Psalm 119: 10, with my whole heart I have sought You; oh, let me not wander from Your commandments!

God bless you and your family. Praise The Lord!

Remember Jesus loves you.

Prayer of Salvation.

Lord Jesus Christ, I believe you died on the cross and rose again to save me and to forgive all of my sins. I ask you to come into my heart as my personal savior. I Repent of those sins, and I thank you and Praise you for what you did to make my salvation possible. Amen.

My Time With Jesus Tuesday

Joseph 1

Fast forward two years. Pharaoh was having nightmares, and no one could interpret them. It is then that the cupbearer who was one of the slaves that Joseph took care of in prison, remembered Joseph, and he told Pharaoh about Joseph. Joseph was then called before the pharaoh to interpret the dreams.

After Pharaoh listened to the interpretation of the dreams, he decided that there was only one person that could fulfill what he was just told. That person was Joseph.

At that point Joseph was declared the ruler of the entire country of Egypt. The only one that would be higher than him in all the land was Pharaoh himself.  Joseph took control of everything, and everything prospered under his watch, just as the dream foretold. They saved 20% of the grain every year just as the dream foretold for seven years.

After the seven years of plenty in Egypt, a great famine came to the whole land and all the surrounding countries. Since Egypt was storing plenty of grain everyone came there to buy food from Joseph.

After a while Joseph’s brothers came to buy food. He recognized them but they didn’t recognize him. He told them that if they wanted to buy more grain, they had to bring their young brother back with them to prove they were not spies. Well, they did come back a second time and he made himself known to them. Obviously, they were repentant because he treated them so well For what they had done to him.

Joseph told his brothers that when they get back to their homeland to tell their father that he is alive and that he should bring his entire household to live in Egypt and that he would give them the best land.

See the chain of events. If his brothers did not sell Joseph to slave traders, there would be no story. If Joseph hadn’t been bought by Potiphar, no story. If Joseph didn’t go to prison, no story. If Joseph didn’t interpret the dreams of pharaoh, no story.

Joseph’s family moved to Egypt, they and their descendants lived there 400 years and we know about the slavery that they went through. If all of that didn’t happen there would be no Exodus and no Moses. The promised land was not conquered according to God’s plan. That fact changed most of history even till today. As you can see, all through history every step was orchestrated by God for the final result.

Nothing happens by chance. God is never surprised because He plans everything, and everything happens His way. Think about how world history would be different if things like Joseph never happened. The Bible is full of true stories that make up history. God bless you and your family.

Praise The Lord!

Remember Jesus loves you.

Prayer of Salvation.

Lord Jesus Christ, I know you suffered and died on the cross and rose again to wash away my sins and make it possible for me to have eternal life. I Repent of my sins, and I ask you to come into my heart as my personal savior. I want to do your will. Thank you, Lord Jesus. Amen.

Praise The Lord!

God's Promises Sunday

Joseph

Have you ever wondered if the Lord God Almighty really has a plan for your life? There are many examples in the Bible to convince us that the answer is yes. However, most people read the Bible but don’t meditate on it, so they miss so much that would help them period.

Case in point. I used to get bored when I heard so many preachers talking about Joseph. It seemed that someone was talking about him every week. One day for some reason, I know it was directed by the Lord, I was meditating on the story of Joseph and the Holy Spirit showed me what none of them ever talked about. I will now tell you what I discovered.

Joseph was the first child of his father Jacobs favorite wife. As a result, Joseph had preferential treatment. As a result, Joseph acted like he was much more special than his brothers. Between his actions and his mouth, his brothers seemed to have cause to resent him to such a level, they wanted to get rid of him.

They knew they couldn’t kill him, so they sold him to slave traders who took him to Egypt. That may sound terrible, but could it be a part of God’s plan?

When he was sold at the slave auction, he was bought by a high official in government. It didn’t take long for his new master, Potiphar, to realize he had a hard-working intelligent slave.

Potiphar made Joseph the head of his home and personal interests. As a result, Joseph met Potiphar’s wife. She Tried her best to seduce Joseph, but he refused, many times. Her anger caused her to accuse Joseph of violating her, and he was sent to prison.

While in prison, the warden figured out that he could pass most of his work to Joseph, and then relax with no stress. In his duties Joseph was called on to see to the needs of two of Pharaoh’s slaves. He interpreted the dreams of each of these people with 100% accuracy.

The rest of this story will be continued in the next posting. God bless you and your Family.

Praise The Lord!

A New Creation

2 Corinthians 5:17, Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; Behold a new has come.

You may have heard the phrase a new creation and wondered what it means. This verse tells us that when we repent of all our sins and acknowledge the Lord Jesus Christ as our savior, we are that new creation.

John 3:3, Jesus answered him, truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

1Peter1:23-25, Having been born again not of corruptible seed, but Incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever. All Flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as a flower of the grass. The grass withers and its flowers fall away but the word of the Lord endures forever.

From these verses we can see that we are truly born again In Christ. Our Immortal souls are imperishable through God’s word in our abiding in Him. When we receive the Lord Jesus Christ in our hearts, and the Holy Spirit comes to help us and guide us in our new life.

Ephesians 2:8-9, For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is a gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.

When we realize that it is a gift from God and not a reward for our works, that is the first step. Think about the fact that despite a previous sinful life we have been forgiven, and only God can love and forgive that much.

Romans 12:2, Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

Our new life should focus on our savior and follow His word and guidance. The world and its evil ways should be abhorrent to us. We should instead reflect the light of the Lord Jesus Christ to everyone we meet, remembering that actions are more powerful than words.

Ephesians 4: 22-24, to put off your old self, which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful desires, and to be renewed in the spirit of your mind and to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God and true righteousness and Holiness.

At this point you have eternal life, the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the presence and power of the Holy Spirit to help you live your new life and abandon the old you.

If you don’t see all of this yet, and you are saved, don’t worry. Get into the word and get to know our Lord. It is a new and exciting Journey we are taking. Remember that our Lord hears our prayers and never fails to answer. God bless you and your family.

Praise The Lord!

Remember Jesus loves you.

Prayer of Salvation.

Lord Jesus Christ I am a sinner. I know you suffered and died on the cross and rose again to save me. I acknowledge my sins and I Repent of those sins and ask you to come into my heart as my personal savior. I believe and I receive the gift of Salvation. Thank you, Lord Jesus. Amen. Praise The Lord!

My Time With Jesus Tuesday

Unconditional Love

John 3:16, For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.

I have talked to many people over the years. Many of them seemed troubled. Even though a good number of them were successful, they weren’t enjoying it.

It has been about 15 years since the Lord Jesus Christ became a very large part of my life. In talking to various people about Jesus, I find that many are afraid to come to Him because their lives seem to be so filled with sin, that they think they cannot be forgiven. What a mistake.

Romans 5:8, But God shows His love for us in that while we were still sinners; Christ died for us.

Ephesians 2:8, For by Grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God.

Almighty God has unconditional love. Add to that unconditional mercy and blessings. And let us not forget forgiveness for everyone who is sincere when they repent.

What people have a hard time understanding is that when they are full of sin, avoid merciful God and His forgiveness, they are paying the penalty they are afraid of, with no forgiveness. Coming to the Lord Jesus Christ with a sincere heart will bring unimaginable peace and well-being. Forgiveness means that nothing further is owed.

The Lord Jesus Christ knows exactly every sin we have committed as well as every sin we haven’t committed yet. He didn’t have to come and do what He did to pay our sin debt. He did it because He loves us so much and the only way to pay that huge debt was to pay for it Himself by His crucifixion and resurrection.

Almighty God’s love for us is not based on anything  except His love for us.

There has never been, nor ever will be such an evil, sinful person He will not forgive if they come to Him and repent. The Bible says so.

Titus 3:4-5, But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our savior appeared, He saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to His own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit.

You can do yourself a gigantic favor. Come to the Lord Jesus Christ, repent, and focus on the things of God, not and things of the world.

Ephesians 2:4-5, but God being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ-by Grace you have been saved.

Romans 3:23, For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

God bless you and your family. Praise The Lord!

 Remember Jesus loves you.

 Prayer Of Salvation.

My Lord Jesus Christ I am a sinner. I know you suffered and died on the cross and rose again to wash away my sins and to save me. I acknowledge my sins and I Repent of those sins and ask you to come into my heart as my personal savior. I believe and I receive the gift of Salvation. Thank you, Lord Jesus. Amen.

Praise The Lord!

God's Promises Sunday

Real Trust

Philippians 4:6-7, do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

If you ever went to church, you have heard of these verses. What do they mean and how do you apply them? I have believed and prayed for years, and during those years had plenty of proof of the existence of God our Father.

One day I committed my family to the service of God. I did this because I am the spiritual head of my family and wanted all of us saved. I told the Lord that with my free will, I ask in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ that Father God take total control of Our Lives. I still pray for that every night.

Psalm 55:22, Cast your burden on the Lord, and He will sustain you; He will never permit the righteous to be moved.

1 Peter 5:6-7, Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time He may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you.

One morning as my wife and I were having coffee with Jesus, I received a powerful message in my heart. The Lord told me that I wasn’t giving Him all my cares, and my peace was being affected.

Isaiah 26:3, you keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you.

Suddenly, I knew what He was talking about. I’ve been retired for over 20 years at this point, and we live on a fixed income, so over the years I kind of tried to figure out our finances and how long they will last.

The next thing Father God put on my heart was, as long as I plan or try to figure anything out, I am keeping us from God’s, best because I am trying to take control back. I was shocked because I didn’t realize I was doing that. You might even have the same problem I did.

Hebrews 13:5, keep your life free from Love of money, and be content with what you have, for He said, I will never leave you nor forsake you.

Through The Years, stock market ups and downs, major medical conditions, you name it, the Lord took care of everything. Talk about miracles, I could write a book.

I can only conclude in my little brain that the Lord God Almighty, the Lord Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit, are alive and working in our lives. There is no such thing as impossible if you turn everything over to the Lord God and His plan for you.

I know these words of mine are hard for a lot of people to accept. It took several years before I came to realize how powerful the word of God really is. I also found out that if you try to live your life according to the word of God, you will never regret it. God bless you and your family.

Praise The Lord!

Remember Jesus loves you.

Prayer of Salvation.

Lord Jesus Christ I am a sinner.

Time

Ecclesiastes 3:1 -8, For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under Heaven; a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted, A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing.

The subject of time is something that most people don’t think about. They are acquainted with time in daily life in the form of simple things. Things like time to get up, time to eat, time to go to work. There are dozens of ways we use time.

Psalm 90:12, So teach us to number our days that we may get a heart of wisdom.

James 4:14, Yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes.

Ask a young person about doing something and you may get an answer like “I have nothing but time” or “I have more time than money”.

It’s amazing how people look at time. They do not realize that time is a gift from God, and it is in fact controlled by almighty God. Each of us is allotted a given amount of time, and that we cannot change.

Psalm 31:15, My times are in your hand; rescue me from the hand of my enemies and from my persecutors.

Ephesians 1:10, as a plan for the fullness of time, to unite all things in Him, things in Heaven and things on earth.

When God came up with a plan for each of us, He devised one that was best for each of us. He knew how much time we would waste trying to run our lives, so He figured the best amount of time for us, and when that time would run out. To help us in our journey through life, He gave us the Bible. The instruction book to Salvation, but the one thing it doesn’t tell us is when our time is up.

Mark 13:32, but concerning that day or that hour, no one knows, not even the angels in Heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.

A prudent person finds out exactly how salvation happens by reading the Bible. He also begins to see who is really in charge and it’s not him. So, you get to the point where you realize you can be gone in the blink of your eyes. The sobering fact is when that happens there will not be a second chance. Eternity and where you spend it can happen just that fast. I really don’t think picking out some random date when you will decide to follow Jesus is going to cut it. You may not have another breath, and that is a fact.

Romans 13:11, besides this you know the time, the hour has come for you to wake from sleep. Our salvation is nearer to us now than when we first believed.

So, remember that old saying about Time marching on, it does. Now is the time to decide your entire future. God bless you and your family. Praise The Lord!

 Remember Jesus loves you.

 Prayer of Salvation.

Lord Jesus Christ I am a sinner. I know you suffered and died on the cross and rose again to wash away my sins and to save me. I acknowledge those sins and I Repent of those sins and I ask you to come into my heart as my personal savior. I believe and I receive the gift of Salvation. Thank you, Lord Jesus. Amen.

Praise The Lord!

My Time With Jesus Tuesday

Prayer-Real Or Fantasy

John 15:7, If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.

Prayer and whether it works has been a subject of controversy since man first prayed. If you ask a hundred people, 10 would probably say it works. The rest would not be sure, or they would come up with an answer of no, it does not work.

Why do you suppose the opinions are so negative? Prayer is not something magical. Some people think that just pronouncing words that someone wrote is all it takes. This is usually followed by a comment, I have heard many times, “I tried it and it didn’t work”.

The Bible tells us about the power of prayer. The verses in the Bible are the promises of the Lord God Almighty, Creator of the universe and all that is in it. Most of these promises, if not all of them, were spoken by the Lord Jesus Christ. We know that the promises are true, but how do we experience them in our lives?

Matthew 7:7-8, Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find, knock and it will be open to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks, it will be opened.

So, we can figure out from this verse that we must look for almighty God and keep looking until we find Him. When we know who He really is, we can start to believe His promises.

Mark 11: 24, therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

After you ask, believe and receive, praise and thank God Almighty until you’re answer materializes.

John 14: 13, whatever you ask in My name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

Philippians 4 :6, be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer, and supplication, with Thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.

Philippians 4: 13, I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.

Here’s a little suggestion that will get you started in the right direction. Start your prayer by confessing sins, that is (what God calls sin) not what you call sin. The bible will help you see what God calls sin. Ask the Lord God Almighty in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

When most people pray, they have an idea of how they will receive it. Bad idea. When God answers prayer, He does what is best for an individual, and that might include no.

Another thing you must remember is everything is in God’s timing. Don’t start to do it your way because you are waiting two days, and you want it sooner.

The entire universe runs on God’s plan, God’s timing, including what people do. The best thing I have found is to take whatever it is, give it to almighty God, step back, and stay out of it. It does take persistence, so don’t rush it and be anxious and quick to judge that you think it didn’t work or won’t work. God bless you and your family.

Praise The Lord!

 Remember Jesus loves you.

Prayer of Salvation.

Lord Jesus Christ I am a sinner. I know you suffered and died on the cross and rose again to wash my sins away and to save me. I acknowledge my sins and I Repent of those sins, and I ask you to come into my heart as my personal savior. I believe and I receive the gift of Salvation. Thank you, Lord Jesus. Amen.

God's Promises Sunday

Achieve Satisfaction

Luke 6:38, Give and it will be given to you. Good measure, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure, you use it will be measured back to you.

The message today is one that makes many people grown. First off, no one is forced to give. God wants and loves a cheerful giver which means you give from your heart.

2 Corinthians 9:7, each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful Giver.

I know from personal experience that giving to a charity you haven’t checked out can leave you wondering if they are legitimate. Google charity navigator to see what a charity spends for expenses you didn’t donate for. See how much of a dollar goes where it is supposed to go. There is no harm in checking a charity out, as a matter of fact it is a good idea because of all the scams going on.

Proverbs 19:17, whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and He will repay him for his deed.

If you are old enough to remember how good it felt to give gifts at Christmas, that feeling hasn’t changed. The times have changed drastically throughout the whole world. Now you must look and try harder, because everything is tougher, and many gave up and follow the dictates of society.

1 John 3:17, but if anyone has world’s goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God’s love abide in him?

Take heart my friends. The Lord God Almighty is still in charge, and He allows everything that is a part of His plan. The Book of Revelation tells us how it all ends, we win. Having seen what we saw, and events unfolding as they are, we see the truth in God’s words.

Acts 20: 35, in all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how He Himself said, it is more blessed to give than to receive.

In helping others, we are a blessing to them, as God directs us to do His work on Earth. As we do this work, we please God Almighty, and He blesses us.

We were created for the times and challenges we Face. The Holy Spirit is our helper, the Lord Jesus Christ tells us who, when, where, and how to use what He has given us to do, to work according to His plan.

If you want joy and true happiness in your life, follow as you are directed by the master of the universe. God bless you and your family. Praise The Lord!

Remember Jesus loves you.

Prayer of Salvation.

Lord Jesus Christ I am a sinner. I know you suffered and died on the cross and rose again to wash away my sins and to save me. I acknowledge my sins and I Repent of those sins and ask you to come into my heart as my personal savior. I believe and I receive the gift of Salvation. Thank you, Lord Jesus. Amen.

Eyes Open

Matthew 14:27-31, Immediately Jesus spoke to them saying be of good cheer it is I; do not be afraid and Peter answered him and said Lord if it is you command me to come to you on the water, so He said come. And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus, but when he saw that the wind was boisterous, he was afraid and beginning to sink he cried out saying, Lord save me and immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him and said to him, oh you of little faith, why did you doubt?

The condition of the world and especially our country in particular causes great despair, stress, and incredible fear in most people.

When you see how Jesus is ignored and removed from everything, you begin to understand hate, corruption, and evil of all sorts and notice that it is growing.

When I read today’s starting verse, I think it is a good analogy of the storm of evil we face in this life. Peter was walking on water until he took his eyes off Jesus and focused on the storm instead.

Colossians 3:2, set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on Earth.

Romans 12: 2, do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

As we go through our daily life it helps to remember that Almighty God is in charge. Every single person is allowed to decide who they will follow in their life. The choices are between the Lord Jesus Christ, or satan.

Just as Jesus grabbed Peter’s hand and saved him, He will do the same for us. He is always with those who love Him. He knows what we go through because He lived on Earth and experienced it in person. There was plenty of hatred, cruelty, and massive evil, just as we experience or maybe more.

2 Corinthians, 4:18, as we look not to the things that are seen, but to the things that are unseen. For things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.

Matthew 16: 23, but He turned and said to Peter, get behind Me satan! You are a hindrance to Me, for you are not setting your mind on the things of God, but on the things of man.

Just as the Lord Jesus said these words to Peter, we can say them to ourselves if we start to see that we are trying to deal with things only God Almighty can do.

Philippians 4: 8, finally brothers whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.

As I have said many times in other messages, in order to progress in any endeavor that we take, we must be focusing on the goal and not any side issues or conditions. Don’t forget, satan wants us to see the storm instead of the rainbow after. God bless you and your family. Praise The Lord!

Remember Jesus loves you.

Prayer of Salvation.

My Lord Jesus Christ, I am a sinner.

My Time With Jesus Tuesday

Resolutions

Proverbs 16:9, A man’s heart plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps.

When a new year begins, it is common to hear or talk about New Year resolutions. We pick this time to correct something we are not happy with in our lives.

Most people vow to stick to a diet, or exercise more, and all kinds of things, literally for anything you can possibly name. Over the years it has become like a game, to see who can stick to it longer. Most people don’t succeed because they don’t have a specific plan or goal or in fact the determination to do what it takes.

To be successful you must look at several things. Is the goal achievable? Are you really willing to do what it takes? Can you not sabotage yourself? And can you overcome unexpected setbacks?

To achieve success in anything you must realize where the power comes from. That power is in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit.

Philippians 4:13,  I can do all things through him who strengthens me.

The Lord God Almighty has a plan for each of us, and Promises to help us to achieve it.

Jeremiah 29: 11, for I know the thoughts that I think toward you says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and hope.

The key to success in any prayer is well known and simple, but many people don’t follow through. Remember that the mind of almighty God is not like ours, and that is what most of us forget.

Proverbs 3:6, in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your path straight.

Ask our Heavenly Father to forgive your sins. Bring your request to Him in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Tell Him that you trust Him in His will for your request. Thank Him and praise Him every day for the results no matter what they are. Remember almighty God is always in control and the world runs by what He allows. God bless you and your family. Praise The Lord!
