Not God's Fault

It Is Written, 2 Corinthians 3:4, even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, whose minds the God of this age (satan ) has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.
There are many people who are being taught that God brings suffering on people, so that those who suffer can bring glory to God by suffering.  Plain nonsense.  satan is the one who brings sickness and disasters of all sorts.
God created us with a free will, so He allows us to make our own choices. He does not interfere with that in any way.  Whether you love Him, and follow Him, is up to you.  He will not make you do anything.
satan on the other hand, does everything he can to take advantage of our free will.  Doubt and lies are his favorite tools, designed to lure us away from God.
If you stop and think, violence, sickness, and sin of every sort is brought on with those lies, and doubt, he deceives us with.  He blames God for everything we don't like, in order us for us to stay away from God.  He makes evil look good, and good he makes look evil.
satan sells death with smoke and mirrors.  His methods take advantage of the weakness of men.  God on the other hand is selling truth.  Truth is very hard to sell, because it is the harder way to go.
When eternity comes, and it will, only those who wanted and love God will be with Him.  Anyone who rejected God in life will not be forced to spend eternity with Him.
Followers of satan will come to realize the awful mistake they made, and the consequences.  All people will kneel before God and acknowledge Him as God, before going to their final destination.  May God bless you and your family.  Praise Lord!

Love For God

It Is Written, Matthew 22:37,  Jesus said to him, "you shall love the Lord your God, with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind".
At first glance, this commandment may seem beyond reach to many people.  When you look at the Words of Jesus when He told the apostles preach the Word, heal the sick, raise the dead, and cast out demons in His name, you may think that you can never measure up.
Well my friends, just relax and consider the following words I feel led to tell you.
When we accept salvation, many of us don't realize that we receive the Holy Spirit and the fruits of the Holy Spirit as stated in Galatians 5:22-23. They are love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
Many of us get so excited when we are saved that we want to do great things for God, right away.  After a short time however most of us become doubtful about our salvation, because we aren't another Billy Graham.  We decide we don't know how to love God, because that is what satan tries to convince us of.
If you trust God in your heart, you have started.  God looks at our hearts because the Holy Spirit lives there, and so does Jesus.  We honor and love Him in our hearts first.  When you pray, give the Lord each day and ask Him to guide your life His way.
In the meantime, study some of His Word every day.  Make a list of the fruits mentioned in Galatians 5:22-23 and go about your life putting as many of them as possible into action with all your heart, every day.
Don't pay any attention to what you think of yourself, or what you think God thinks of you.  God doesn't think the way we do, so quit worrying about it.  Just keep doing your best and talking to God, and listening for Him in your heart.
If God wants us to do a particular thing, He will tell us, and then clear the way to make it happen.  He may only call on us once, or many times, it is up to Him how He can use us and how much we are prepared for.  How often He uses us, does not reflect how much He loves us.  He loves us more than we can possibly imagine.
When we try to do our best, to do what God's Word says, He considers it as praise and love from us.  No matter how much satan tries to tell you that you don't please or love God, remember satan is a liar, so what he says, the opposite is true.  May God bless you and your family.  Praise The Lord!

Godly Responsibility

It Is Written, 1 John 2:6, he who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.
Jesus was a man of action, a loving teacher, and an inspiration for many people to do better, and to follow God.
Many of us complain about how far our country has fallen away from God, and the moral decline that rivals the worst in world history.  Well my friends, it is our fault.  You and me.
Most of us sit around and wait for God to perform a miracle to change everything, and that's all we do.  If you read the Bible, you know that God gave the land to the people that came out of Egypt.  He gave it to them, but they had to go in, fight the battle, and take it.
Right now we must take back our country from those who would destroy it.  We have fallen away from God, and the moral decline that rivals the worst in world history is what we are faced with.  It is our fault, you and me.
If Christians voted for God fearing people, we as a country could change.  If we vote for someone who says he is for bringing God back to the schools for instance, and is never heard from after he is elected, don't re elect him.
If you don't vote, don't complain.  It is a fact that incumbents get reelected 90% of the time.  It doesn't seem to matter how bad a job they do.  When voters don't care, why should those who are elected care?
If Christians cared enough about God and country, we could get to  where politicians were worried about getting our votes.  Right now they court every fringe or crackpot group, because they know we aren't going to get in the way.
The time for excuses is over.  It will only get worse if we don't step up. Don't wait for someone else to be responsible, you do it.  So whether you really don't care or you are just plain lazy, wake up and bring God back to our country by voting for God fearing people.
It is written, God says men get the leaders that they deserve.  We, our children, and grandchildren deserve our best.  Vote the Bible and accountability from those we elect.
If you read the Bible you'll see in the Old Testament that God punished the Israelites and other countries for their evil ways because they did not repent.  May God bless you and your family.  Praise the Lord!

Not God's Fault

It Is Written, Proverbs 5:21, for the ways of man are before the eyes of the Lord, and he ponders all his paths.
From the time we are born, God takes care of each of us.  He had a plan before we were born, that was perfect for us, and would lead us back to Him for eternity.
All of us at times, reject God's plan, by trying to do things our way.  He allows us to do what we think in order to learn that we need Him.  Even while we carry on our foolishness, He still blesses us, and sends us wake up calls.
Those of us who read the Bible, or listen to preachers and read their books, sometimes go astray without even realizing it.  There are many verses in the Bible that tell us we will receive what we pray for in Jesus name. Preachers repeat these verses, and it all seems simple, so we pray and nothing happens.
As humans we have a tendency to blame God for everything that goes wrong.  We question him all the time, in anger, self-pity, and wounded pride, and so on.  We are fortunate that He loves us, and doesn't strike us dead.
Most of us miss the part that tells us that when we pray, we are to do it with Thanksgiving, as well as faith.  We must realize that the bonehead decisions we make, are made by us outside of God's plan, so we should repent and look at ourselves for the failures.
Sometimes we get upset and question God because our prayers are not answered the way we expected, or not at all.  We feel that God did not keep His Word, so we stop praying, and get angry.
God does not need to be defended, especially by me, but I feel I should set  some things straight.  In my own life, I had to learn many things the hard way, and here are a few.
In order for prayers to be successful we need a relationship with God that is ongoing.  When we are close to God, we are able to hear His voice guiding us.  Many times we see that if we do it our way, it might take us away from God because of things like pride.  Other times, we are not yet ready spiritually.  He will not allow us to do things that would be detrimental to our spiritual life.
Remember, God is not our slave to do our bidding whenever we snap our fingers.  If we don't know Him, He will not know us.  He is God, we are not. Let's put the blame where it belongs, and that my friends is us!  May God bless you and your family.  Praise the Lord!

Value of Prayer

It Is Written, Philippians 4:6, be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.
Have you ever been disappointed, because your prayers were not answered?  Were you trying your best to have faith, and it was a struggle? By now you are probably aware that when you pray, you must have forgiveness for everyone in your heart.  Faith requires love in order to operate.  Doubt and fear about the power of prayer, comes from satan. They are prayer blockers.
So how do you pray in order to get prayers answered?  It isn't that difficult to overcome the obstacles that are mentioned.  First of all realize that God knows everything you want or need, and has already provided it in His world, that is the spiritual world.  Prayer brings what He has to us when we access it in Jesus name by faith and trust.
Now comes the answer that many people don't want to hear.  You must get closer to God, by reading His Word and doing it.  As you study, you will get to know Him intimately.  You will find that trust in Jesus to get it all done, gets it all done.  You don't have to struggle to have faith.  Faith is a gift from the Holy Spirit to believers, however you must nurture it with the Word, until your faith is automatic.
If someone told you that there was $1 billion, in your yard, and they showed you the spot to dig, would you?  What if they said it was 20 feet down, and you could only use a small shovel, would you still dig?
The Word of God is priceless to those who use it properly.  You can't dig a hole without a shovel, and you can't get prayers answered without God. He wants to give it all to whoever uses the spiritual shovel, which is the Word of God.  Fabulous blessings await you from God, it's up to you to accept them.  What are you waiting for?  May God bless you and your family.  Praise the Lord!

Not Happy With Now?

It's It Is Written, Matthew 6:25, therefore, I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink;  nor about your body.  Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?
If you aren't happy with your life right now, you have plenty of company. The vast majority of people are working at jobs they hate, many have marriages and children problems, and on it goes.  There are as many reasons for people to be unhappy as there are people.  Let's look at a few.
Some people are unhappy because they are searching for the wrong thing. God is trying to get their attention, and they are not listening.  They feel an emptiness they can't seem to fill, and they get frustrated, and even depressed.
Another reason is quite different.  God is preparing them to follow His plan for their life, and they are not aware of it.  So they fight God's plan and continue to do it their way, so they end up struggling with bad decisions.
Then we have people that are really focused on what the world says is good.  This leads them to a constant feeling of wanting more, bigger, better, etc.  Their desires are never satisfied.
To be happy in this world, it requires us to focus on Jesus and His promise of eternal life.  Most people don't like to hear the truth, especially if it concerns Jesus.  So in a way they go about creating their own unhappiness. Human beings have an uncanny way of not knowing ,or doing what is good for them.   A word to the wise.  If your way is not working, do it God's way, in the Bible.  May God bless you and your family.  Praise the Lord!

Truth

It Is Written, 2 Timothy 4:4, they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.
Truth is a precious thing.  Truth is sometimes difficult, because it can make us vulnerable, or just plain cost us something.  Not telling or hearing the truth, can cost us even more.
Many times hearing the truth disturbs us, because it isn't what we want to hear.  Because of this, we put a spin on something and try to rationalize it so it fits what we think.
If you need to make a decision about anything, you cannot make a good decision based on fantasy.  Facts are critical to everything.  If you love someone, you tell them the truth.  By telling them the truth, you are helping them to avoid things that can really hurt them.  Not telling someone the truth is a sign of disrespect, and when truth is found out it can be devastating to the one who did not tell the truth, and to the one who heard the lie.
Jesus always told the truth, and people hated Him for it.  He tried to make them see sin, as sin, not something good.  Jesus wasn't talking about minor things, He was talking about their souls.  He loved them so much, He accepted the fact that many would hate Him, and He told them the truth anyway. Telling the people the truth was so important to Him, He was even willing to die for it.
Sometimes people look at the world and see many things that are done in the name of a person's rights, and delude themselves into thinking that all of these people cannot be wrong, so it must be right.  A big problem with many people, is they want to fit in at any cost.
To make a long story short, I repeat once again, that the Word of God, the Bible, is still a book of love from God to us.  It tells us how to get back to Him, and lead a good life.  We cannot bend God's truths to fit what we think.  Truths cannot bend.
Think about this.  If we had a book that said every sin we can think of was okay, because a loving God will forgive us even if we don't confess it, it would make many people very happy.  Then when we died, and faced judgment and found out what we read was not the truth, and we are going to hell, at that point, how much would we wish that we had followed the real truth?
The truth is what God says it is.  God does not hate anyone, He just hates what they do.  God's Word says so.  Most people hate Jesus more now than at any other time in history, but He still wants everyone to come to Him.
Make time for His Word and believe it now.  Tomorrow or even five minutes from now, may be too late.  Let facts and faith in the One who loves you, decide your eternity.  May God bless you and your family.    Praise the Lord!

Hurt Feelings Destroy

It Is Written, Proverbs 28:25, he who is of a proud heart stirs up strife, but he who trusts in the Lord will prosper.
The thought for today is something that most of us hardly ever think about, hurt feelings.  Hurt feelings can destroy families as well as friends, and cause strife wherever we go.
Some people almost never feel hurt, while others feel hurt by all kinds of things.  If you are someone who lives in a constant state of hurt feelings, it would be a good idea to take a look at what hurts you and why.
A person who subconsciously feels that the world revolves around them, is a likely candidate for being hurt.  A self-centered person feels rejection when someone disagrees with them, because it attacks their pride.  Don't let pride keep you from recognizing that you are this way.
Then you have the person who is so insecure that they feel that people are talking in a negative way about them all of the time.  This attacks their self-image.  All of these things cause strife, and strife leads to no good end. People end up alone because it is too difficult to put up with their problem.
This can all change.  If you are someone who is always hurt, change your focus from you to Jesus. Jesus had, and still has the most reasons to be hurt, but He isn't angry because He understands how we are.
Here is a thought.  Take a good look at what you do every day.  Think about one particular thing each day, and ask yourself if Jesus would be hurt by it. A good one to start with is, do you live like you love Him?
Work on that  each day until you get a positive answer.  One test would be, how are your relationships going?  Are they getting better or worse.  It would be a good idea for each of us to focus more on Jesus and less on ourselves.
Remember, pride, strife, anger, are all demonic.  You can't be a true follower of Christ if you are following the way the devil wants you to act. Put everything in God's hands and follow Him.  You will be amazed what it is like to live without overly tender feelings.  May God bless you and your family.  Praise the Lord!

Keep Trusting

It Is Written, Psalm 32:10, many sorrows shall be to the wicked;  but he who trusts in the Lord, mercy shall surround him.
Every single believer gets discouraged once in a while, especially new believers.  Most new believers are looking to learn all about Jesus, and how the authority Jesus gave us works.
The Bible is the number one source to get to know Jesus.  Many people are intimidated by it, so they find excuses to avoid studying.  Many of these people look to preachers on TV to explain everything.  Many of these preachers do a very good job in the way they teach and they make everything pretty plain.
We look at Jesus promises in the Bible, and they are wonderful.  It seems simple, but it takes faith.  Preachers also teach what the Bible says, and it seems pretty simple, but it still requires faith.
We tell ourselves that Jesus does not and cannot lie, so what He says must be true.  Simple right?  Wrong.  Faith requires believing without seeing in the natural.  That my friends takes patience as well as faith.
You pray for something for weeks, and nothing seems to happen.  satan stepped in at the beginning to plant doubt and fear in your mind.  As time goes on it may get harder to believe, but don't get discouraged.  Many times while you are still struggling, your answer came, but not in the way you expected.  satan tries to hide it from you to cause you to doubt and have fear.  Jesus always keeps His Word, so trust in that.
As we know, the apostles lived with Jesus for three years, and they still had doubts and discouragement, especially after Jesus died.  Jesus did not condemn them, and he doesn't condemn us.
When you feel like nothing is happening with your prayers, or you feel impatient or weak, or even like you want to forget it all, and do it your way, don't.  Go to a private place and tell the Lord how you feel, then listen for His voice in your heart.  He will never leave you or forsake you.  May God bless you and your family.  Praise the Lord!

This Day

It Is Written, Psalm 118:24, this is the day the Lord has made, we will rejoice and be glad in it.
As I started my private time with the Lord this morning,  I thanked Him for the new day that He gave me.  It seemed that I had hardly finish saying it, and I added, Lord I give it back to you, so I can follow your plan.
As I thought about it, I came up with at least a few things God may have planned for me.  He can use it for me to get closer to Him.  He can grow my faith and love for Him and His Word.  Another thing He might do is put me into situations that will help me recognize how I relate to other people or things.  He will in His kind, loving way, show me where and how to improve and do it His way.
I believe God works on His plan for my whole life every day.  When I give Him today, and do my best to follow His Word, he can take the time He uses for straightening out my messes, to productive work for me.  The Lord also put on my heart, that I must go through my day with joy in my heart, knowing that I am doing His will.  He does not want me to do it grudgingly.
I believe God really loves when we give the day to Him, because it shows Him that we trust Him to do His best for us.  When we have faith, and trust in His love for us, He gives us even more blessings. The other thing is when we trust with all our hearts, we are in fact praising and worshiping Him. Giving the day back to the Lord to do His will for us, is one of the best things we can do.  Be prepared for great surprises.  May God bless you this day, and every day.  Praise the Lord!

Be Yourself

It Is Written, Psalm 31:19, oh how great is Your goodness, which you have laid up for those who fear You, which You have prepared for those who trust in You in the presence of the sons of men.
God created each of us the way He wanted us.  Just like Adam and Eve were made in God's image, so where we.  Just as with Adam and Eve, we stray from God's plan.
We have a free will as a gift from God, and His guidance  if we seek it.  He allows us to be what we choose to be.  If we follow God's plan, we are happy, but if we don't, it is another story.
In the process of being who we are, there are a number of things that fit into the equation, and must be considered.
The first one is.  You cannot be who others say you should be, and others cannot be how you expect.  You must live your life and and not someone else's.
When you judge someone else, what you are really doing, is telling God that He messed up when He created that person.  Pay no attention to those who judge you, it is only God's judgment that counts.
When you are unhappy about who you are, and what you have, again you are blaming God and saying He messed up.  We are what we decide to be by our choice to follow God, or satan.
You cannot change other people, that is God's job.  If you are supposed to speak to someone about a particular thing, the Holy Spirit will tell you what to say, and He will cause that person to listen.
It all boils down to this.  If you give each day to the Lord, and follow where He leads, you will have a good life, because He goes before you to clear the path.  Just be who He created you to be.  If He wants you to do something else, He will put it in your heart.  Be patient and listen for His voice.  It is also a very good idea to study His word regularly.  Have a blessed day. Praise the Lord!

God's Love and Mercy

It Is Written, Psalm 86:5, for you, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, and abundant in mercy to all those who call upon you.
Most believers know what kind of a loving God we serve, especially about His unbelievable love and mercy.  So why do so many people think that God hates them, and will not forgive them?
Some of these people probably judge themselves by the standards of their parents or others as they were growing up.  It is common to hear that a father was harsh or unforgiving, so they figure God is that way.  In some cases fathers are blamed for allowing them to make wrong decisions.  A free will carries responsibilities.
A cause of drug or alcohol abuse is often satan himself.  He puts people in places or situations where his suggestions are readily accepted.  After the person follows satan's suggestion,  satan then begins to condemn the person for doing it.  satan is so relentless in telling this person things like, you are so bad,  God hates you and people that are like you.  He will never forgive anyone like you.
The fact is, God's love and forgiveness knows no limits.  At one level or another, we are all prodigal sons or daughters.  Jesus told many stories about things being lost, and then found .  It doesn't matter how far you have strayed, you can't stray far enough to get away from God's love for you.  If you call on Jesus, He will hear you.  He's waiting for you.  Do it! Have a blessed day.  Praise the Lord!

The Spiritual Head

It Is Written, Ephesians 5:23, for the husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the church; and He is the savior of the body.
The Bible does not make men better than women.  This verse and 10 verses after it, list demands Christ puts on husbands.  Christ compares husbands to the family, as Christ Himself relates to the church.
Many families these days do not have a spiritual head.  This verse does not mean that if the husband doesn't take his responsibility, that the wife should just sit back and ignore what is going on.
The husband is supposed to keep his family going in the way of the Word, and a Godly way.  He must set an example for his children by the way he acts, not just by what he says.  Parents should teach their children a value system in life, that puts God first.
God loves all of his children unconditionally.  He wants all of them to be with Him for eternity.  Since He is not on earth, He made us His eyes, ears, hands, feet, and especially His heart.  He commands parents, especially fathers, to take care of and guide the family to Him.  We are responsible, and will be held accountable.
One last point.  In teaching our children about God, we should do it in a loving way, not by smothering them, or beating them over the head.  Also, when they are very young, take some time every evening and read to them from a children's Bible.  There are many good Bible stories that will keep them interested, and at the same time it will introduce them to Jesus.   Their future depends on you following what Jesus says.  Have a blessed day.  Praise the Lord!

Believers Follow Up

It Is Written, Matthew 13:19-23, when anyone hears the word of the kingdom, and does not understand it, then the wicked one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart.  This is he who received seed by the wayside.  But he who received the seed at stony places, this is he who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy;  yet he has no root in himself, but endures only for a while.  For when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he stumbles.  Now he who received seed among the thorns is he who hears the word, and the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful.  But he who received seed on the good ground is he who hears the word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit and produces:  some a hundredfold, some 60, some 30.
In these verses from the parable of the sower, Jesus describes how the word is received in different people.  All of us fit in there somewhere.  We can look at the descriptions and see which one we fall into.  It gives us an honest idea of where we are, and how far we are from where we need to be.
When people say the prayer of salvation, many believe that that is the end of it.  It is just the beginning of it.  The seed was planted, but we must water and feed it with the food from God, to make it grow.  The word of God.
If you wanted to play golf, would you just announce that you are a golfer, and never practice or play?  The prayer of salvation is intended for us to be born spiritually.  This new person, just like any living being, must be fed to grow.  Anything that isn't fed, dies.  Your spiritual man can die from neglect.  It brings into question whether that person was really saved. Many people claim to be a Christian, but give no actual indication of it.
As I have said in other messages, you can listen to CDs or MP3s in your car, while jogging, or whatever you are doing.  You must feed your spirit.  If there is any question in your mind about whether you are really saved, repeat the prayer of salvation with all your heart, and read a chapter or two every day.  Start with Galatians.  Have a blessed day.  Praise the Lord!
Just a Note: the parable of the sower is in Matthew 13:3-8.  The verses above are the explanation.

Authority Of The Believer

It Is Written, Mark 16:17-18, these signs will follow those who believe:  in My name they will cast out demons;  they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents, and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them;  they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.
Most Christians spend little or no time reading or studying the Word of God.  The danger in this, is that satan can tell you anything, and you cannot refute what he says, because you don't know what is in the Word.
Another problem with not reading the Word, is, you don't know what responsibilities and blessings you have.  When you don't read the Word, you start to lose your relationship with God, and miss out on most of the good stuff.
In the above verse, Jesus gave us authority over everything in the spiritual world, except people.  Let me explain briefly.
If someone is sick, you proclaim your authority over the spirit of that sickness and rebuke it in Jesus name, telling it to leave.  Then take authority over that sickness and proclaim it healed in Jesus name while laying hands on that person.
Remember, you need faith in Jesus, in order for you or someone else to receive what Jesus has already done.  For instance by His stripes we were healed.  It is not necessary to pray for healing, it is just necessary to proclaim healing in order to receive what is already there.  It is not your power but Jesus who did it and is making it manifest.  He did however give you the authority to act in His name in order for whatever you are praying for to manifest.
There are many books about the authority, and they all go into detailed explanations.  Kenneth E Hagan wrote, and made CDs, even DVDs.  You can find them@Amazon.com. Have a blessed day. Praise the Lord!

Salvation For Everyone ?

It Is Written, Galatians 1:4, who gave Himself for our sins, that He might deliver us from this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father.
Salvation is for everyone to accept or reject.  There are some real concerns about salvation from believers and nonbelievers alike.  Hopefully this message will help clear some of that up.
First of all, no one is so sinful that they cannot be saved.  God forgives sins all the way up to the last breath.  God sent His Son to save us.  Because He loved everyone so much, He didn't want anyone to perish.
When people receive salvation, some get very emotional, and some do not. The simple truth is that it doesn't manifest as a feeling for many people. Salvation is received in faith and not by feelings.  You are saved whether you feel it physically or not.
When you are saved, you become a new person, because you also receive the Holy Spirit and the fruits of the Holy Spirit.  Galatians 5:22.  These fruits guide you in your new life in Christ Jesus.
Jesus died for everyone's sins, past, present, and future.  That's right, they are all covered.  To ultimately benefit from this, you must be saved, and live a saved life.  It is not a free pass to continue in a sinful life.
True salvation puts you into a relationship with God, and you become His child and heir.  You can talk to Him, and He will talk to you, if you listen.  As you seek God, He gets closer and easier for you to hear.                             Have a blessed day.
Praise the Lord!

What Next ?

It Is Written, Mark 1:15, and saying, "the time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the Gospel".
Any prudent person who looks at the present world situation, realizes that things are not right. Things are happening in nature like never before.  Hate and killing are such as has never been seen in history, when you look at how many places in the world are involved.
Truth cannot be found.  Many countries are spiritually and morally corrupt. Good has become evil, and evil has become good.  God is being removed from everything.
Are you surprised?  If you read the Bible, you know that all of this was foretold many centuries ago. If you read the Bible, you will find hundreds and hundreds of prophecies that were fulfilled to the tiniest detail.
The chances of all the rest being fulfilled are 100%, because God's Word says so.  Hell is a real place. It is not one big party, it is horrible torment forever.  Following Jesus may not be cool to your friends, but why put your future in their hands?
Pay attention to the signs of the times, there are no secrets, it has all been put down on paper, in a book called the Bible.  Whether you agree with it or not, in spite of what anyone says, Jesus is the only way to salvation.  So don't be angry, check it out for yourself.  Have a blessed day.               Praise the Lord!

satan Manipulates Time

It Is Written, Ecclesiastes 9:12, for man also does not know his time: like a fish taken in a cruel net, like birds caught in a snare, so the sons of men are snared in an evil time, when it falls suddenly upon them.
Most people know in their hearts that satan exists.  They know of many of his tricks to destroy man and keep him from God.  There are some things that satan does, that many people do not recognize.
In this message, let us consider his methods of time management.  God does not operate with time.  God is in the now, because he has already accomplished everything that needed to be done.  We just have to learn how to receive what we need.
satan takes advantage of that, by putting a time schedule in place.  If an answer to prayer is not instant, he starts to plant doubt.  He uses this time to make the doubt grow.  If he can push you to complete doubt, he has destroyed your miracle with time, and has enhanced himself, by using time against you.
If you are not saved yet, but are thinking about it, he will tell you that you have plenty of time to decide.  He tries to run your life, the way teams run out the clock in a game.  Since we don't know when Jesus is coming, he works on that clock till time runs out and you lose.  So beware, because one of these days when we least expect Jesus will return, and it will be too late for unbelievers to change their minds.  Realize that time can be your worst enemy, but it can be your friend if used wisely.  Have a blessed day. Praise the Lord!

Looking For A Sign

It Is Written, Matthew 12:39, but He answered and said to them, (scribes and Pharisees ), an evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and no signs will be given to it, except the sign of the prophet Jonah.
Jesus wants us to believe in Him and in His Word.  In John 20:29, Jesus said to Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed, blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.
I guess that at one time or another we have all asked God for a sign.  It seems to be pretty common, and is certainly not a sin.  It is however a disappointment to God.  God wants all of His children to trust in Him and His Word.  The only way to have faith grow, is to pray and have patience, and believe while we wait.
As we go through the growth process, we will see signs in the form of things God has already done. Sometimes we don't recognize what is staring us in the face, so we don't see the past blessings and miracles.
I think that when we hit rock bottom in our lives and don't know which way to turn, we are allowed one, "God if you are there", or "God if you exist".  He shows His grace and mercy to all who call on Him.
Some of the greatest characters in the Bible, went through much worse than what we deal with.  If you talk to the Holy Spirit, He will show you plenty of signs from your past.
When we make a commitment to follow Jesus, we are committing ourselves to doing things His way. Just like any job requires learning and preparation, He is preparing us to be able to handle what He has planned for us.  We don't know what that job is, but He does.  So just trust Him, and it will pay off.
The bottom line is this.  Forget signs, and trust.  We train until faith and trust become like a reflex action.  Have a blessed day. Praise the Lord!

Concerning Prayer

It Is Written, Psalm 27:7, hear, O Lord, when I cry with my voice!  Have mercy also upon me, and answer me.
Many people are concerned about how they pray.  Some think that it has to be complicated, while others feel they don't know how to pray.  A problem most people have, is that they pray for something, and stress out about whether they have enough faith to get what they pray for.
I don't remember where I've seen what I am about to write, but it makes a lot of sense to me.  I would like to acknowledge whoever wrote it,  but I don't know who that is.  So I write it anyway in the hopes that it will help someone.
Our prayers may be awkward, Our attempts may be feeble, But since the power of prayer is in the one who hears it,  and not in the one who says it, our prayers do make a difference.
All of this is basically saying when you pray, just talk to the Lord from your heart.  You don't have to worry about your faith getting anything done, you only need to have faith, that Jesus will get in done.  As you get used to praying, it will become easier and easier, because you will have a relationship with Jesus.  Have a blessed day.  Praise the Lord!
