Truth

It Is Written, 2 Timothy 4:4, they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.
Truth is a precious thing.  Truth is sometimes difficult, because it can make us vulnerable, or just plain cost us something.  Not telling or hearing the truth, can cost us even more.
Many times hearing the truth disturbs us, because it isn't what we want to hear.  Because of this, we put a spin on something and try to rationalize it so it fits what we think.
If you need to make a decision about anything, you cannot make a good decision based on fantasy.  Facts are critical to everything.  If you love someone, you tell them the truth.  By telling them the truth, you are helping them to avoid things that can really hurt them.  Not telling someone the truth is a sign of disrespect, and when truth is found out it can be devastating to the one who did not tell the truth, and to the one who heard the lie.
Jesus always told the truth, and people hated Him for it.  He tried to make them see sin, as sin, not something good.  Jesus wasn't talking about minor things, He was talking about their souls.  He loved them so much, He accepted the fact that many would hate Him, and He told them the truth anyway. Telling the people the truth was so important to Him, He was even willing to die for it.
Sometimes people look at the world and see many things that are done in the name of a person's rights, and delude themselves into thinking that all of these people cannot be wrong, so it must be right.  A big problem with many people, is they want to fit in at any cost.
To make a long story short, I repeat once again, that the Word of God, the Bible, is still a book of love from God to us.  It tells us how to get back to Him, and lead a good life.  We cannot bend God's truths to fit what we think.  Truths cannot bend.
Think about this.  If we had a book that said every sin we can think of was okay, because a loving God will forgive us even if we don't confess it, it would make many people very happy.  Then when we died, and faced judgment and found out what we read was not the truth, and we are going to hell, at that point, how much would we wish that we had followed the real truth?
The truth is what God says it is.  God does not hate anyone, He just hates what they do.  God's Word says so.  Most people hate Jesus more now than at any other time in history, but He still wants everyone to come to Him.
Make time for His Word and believe it now.  Tomorrow or even five minutes from now, may be too late.  Let facts and faith in the One who loves you, decide your eternity.  May God bless you and your family.    Praise the Lord!

Prayer Salvation
Lord Jesus, I thank you for what you did on the cross for me.  Your blood washed away all my sins, by your stripes I was healed, your death and resurrection brought me salvation.  Please forgive my sins, and come into my heart as my personal Savior.
Thank You Lord
 Amen
