Don't Miss It Again

It Is Written, Psalm 19:1, the Heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows His handiwork.
Every single person on this earth who ever lived, was called by God in some way. That may be hard to believe but it is true, nevertheless.
For instance the world itself pronounces the existence of an Almighty God, by the fact that we are alive and living in this created world.
Some people are called by the Voice of God in their heart, and accept Him, and pursue Him by reading the Bible. They meditate on the Word and live accordingly.
Some of us hear God's voice and ignore it. Sometimes God allows circumstances that should lead us to Him, but once again, we don't take advantage of it. The noise of the world overpowers are hearing God. Sometimes even miracles don't wake us up.
We can all look back at the past and see where God was calling us, but we let it slip by. Good news. If you can look back and see it, you are being called once again. Don't miss it this time, because you may get  so insensitive, that you may not hear Him call again. Accept Him as your Lord and Savior today, follow His Word, and you will have no regrets tomorrow.
Remember Jesus Loves You.  May God Bless Your Family

You Affect Others

It Is Written, 1 John 4:13, by this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit.
Have you ever stopped to consider how you affect others in your everyday life? Have you ever considered the fact that God uses each of us in His plans for others?
Everything in this world was created for a particular function. For instance, a water pump, pumps water. It is used in many things, but it still just pumps water. Everything has a specific job, and cannot do something it was not designed for except man.
When God created us in His image, He had a plan. Man was supposed to love God, enjoy life, and help others. God gave us guidelines to follow, but He also allowed us to do what we thought best.
Most of us go through life, not realizing how what we say, think, or do, has an ability to affect other people's lives for good or bad.If we are to represent Jesus, and our actions are out of line with that, it will have a negative impact on others. Positive examples will have positive results.
We affect others by our actions, words, ideas. Not only that, mood, generosity, attitudes, also play a big part. Meditate for a few minutes each night about the image you showed that day, and the possible impact on someone else's life, either for good or bad. It may help you make some improvements the next day. Also think about how others actions and attitudes affect how you feel and act.
May God bless you and your family.
Praise the Lord!

Allow God

It Is Written, Proverbs 3:5-6, " trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths".
You may be asking yourself what does allow God mean? The answer is simple. The first thing you must accept in order to do this, is to realize that God gave each of us a free will. Since we have a free will, God will not make us do anything.
Everything we think, say, or do, is according to our will, until we learn otherwise. Some of us realize that God loves us and wants to give us His best. We go to Him with a laundry list of wants. We aren't sure we will get all of these things, but we hope.
Now I get into an area of belief, that I have been following successfully for a good while now. The thought occurred to me during prayer one morning.
If I follow a selfish path with all of my wants, I may forget to mention some. I may not know about some gifts. I don't really know for sure how all of these things will fit in my life. Some may be good, some not so much. So what do I do?I asked the Holy Spirit what I should do. The answer I got was brilliant, but extremely difficult. He put Proverbs 3:5 and six on my heart.
First thing every morning, I dedicate my day to the Lord. I trust Him for everything in the day. In other words, I use my free will, to operate in my life according to His love for me, and His riches in glory. I give Him the power of attorney in my life which allows Him to use His divine wisdom, and supernatural power for my good. As a result, I have never lacked anything. As a matter of fact, He blesses me, many times, before I could even ask.
When you follow God's plan, you don't have to be afraid of the outcome. Allow God to bless you in His way. Believe me, it is far better than anything we can do. So you see, allowing God to do His thing, turns out to be the best thing for us. It may not be easy at first, but remember this, if God said so, it is. May God bless you and your family. Praise the Lord!

Prayer And Meditation

It Is Written, Psalm 119:15, I will meditate on your precepts, and contemplate your ways.
Unfortunately many believers are not aware of how God works in our lives. Most believe that you say a prayer based on a verse like Matthew 2122, "and whatever things you ask in prayer, believing you will receive".
What people do not realize is that, even if you use the name of Jesus in your request, you may not get the answer you seek.
The key to answered prayers is faith. Faith must be developed in order to work. By meditating on the Word of God regularly with guidance from the Holy Spirit, your faith will grow strong in a relatively short time.
At this point you may be asking yourself how the Holy Spirit gets involved. When we became believers, we received the Holy Spirit from God to help us, teach us, guide us, and anything else we need Him for.
When we meditate on a verse like Matthew 21:22, we read it several times, ask the Holy Spirit to explain it to us, and quietly wait. You may have to do this a few days in a row at first, but  He will answer.
As time goes on, if you do this faithfully, your faith will grow, and your prayers will be answered. Meditation with enlightenment from the Holy Spirit, will bring you into the presence of the Lord in your life. The Bible becomes  real and alive when you meditate instead of just read. So my friends, it is pretty simple. It takes a lot of faith in order to have prayers answered, but the answer to how to get that faith is right in front of  you. May God bless you and your family. Praise the Lord!

Right Way-Hard Way

By now, most of us know that God has a plan for each of us. That plan is to help us get back to Him at home in Heaven for eternity. When we follow God's plan, our trip is much more satisfying.
Most of us also know that following God's plan can be very difficult at times. So what makes it so difficult? First of all, we can't see the whole finished puzzle. We see only one piece at a time, so it seems to us that it doesn't make any sense. We want the whole picture up front, to see if we like it or not. But perhaps the biggest problem is letting go of what we see as control.
The next thing we must realize is that as soon as we decide to follow God's plan, satan starts to try to stop us. satan is supernatural and has most of the power that goes along with that. He hits us with the world and its so-called pleasures. He keeps looking for our weak spots so he can use them against us.
satan works very hard trying to deceive us, and keep us away from God and His plan. satan is constantly creating diversions, to try to keep us from the truth, because that would be the end of him in our lives.
What is this truth, he is so desperate to keep from us? When we became children of God, He came to live in our hearts. We have the Holy Spirit, and have power over satan. He can only do what we allow him to do. If we keep satan under our feet, we have victory with Jesus.
You have heard most of this before, probably from a number of sources. It bears repeating, because it is the truths, and is vital to our salvation. God has given you power over satan, and it is up to you to use it against your enemy, the devil. God bless you and your family. Praise the Lord!

You Are Not a Failure

It Is Written, Matthew 26:41, watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
Any Christian who is honest, will tell you that they failed constantly when they tried to follow God's will. Failure can lead to despair, so before we accept the idea of failure, let's take a look at it.
If you read the Bible, you will find that all of the Bible heroes failed at some time or other. Some had a problem trusting God, some did not want to follow God's plan, some followed the world for a while, and even tolerated idols. Even Peter, an apostle of Jesus, denied Him three times when the chips were down.
So ask yourself this question. If these people, chosen by God, messed up at some time, why do you think that you and I, are any different? They were human, and so are we. They lived in a fallen world, so do we. God used them anyway, so He can use us.
The big thing to remember is that God is God. He is so far beyond us in love, forgiveness, compassion, and anything else you can name, that we cannot comprehend the full extent of His love. We see through human eyes, but God sees our hearts, and does not see us as we see ourselves.
If we try our best to follow Him, because we love Him, above all else, He will forgive us no matter how many times we fail. As we forgive those we love, His love for us is unconditional and unlimited. We just have to do our best in the way He leads us, and trust that we are doing what He wants us to do. May God bless you and your family. Praise the Lord!

Can You Hear God?

It Is Written, Psalm 85:8, I will hear what God the Lord will speak, for He will speak peace to His people and to His Saints; but let them not turn back to folly.
If you ask a random group of people about whether they hear God speaking to them, most will say no, or deny even the possibility of it. Even many Christians are skeptical about hearing God. Let's take a look at the subject. First of all, let me say that I believe every word of what I am about to say.
Many people do not hear God, because they do not know who He is, and don't want to know Him. The things of the world take over all their thinking, and actions.
The world rejects Jesus and everything about Him. By most of their actions, the majority of people do hear a voice, but it is satan they hear. satan puts thoughts and desires in people's hearts and minds that they act on. They either don't know, or don't realize that they are actually hearing satan in their hearts.
So how do you hear God's voice? You will get to know Him by reading His Word, talking to Him, and following His Word. The closer you get to Him, the closer He gets to you. You start to hear His voice in your heart. You can even carry on a conversation with Him. Since Jesus is always with you, talk to Him about everything you are doing each day. Follow what He says, and you will feel spiritually full.
When you bring a problem to the Holy Spirit and relax, you'll find yourself doing the right thing. No, we aren't smart enough for many things on our own. The answers come from Him in such an easy way, we have to be careful to not think how smart we suddenly are.
In order to hear the voice of the Holy Spirit, you have to be listening for it. When you are a believer, the Holy Spirit will speak to you Himself, and tell you what Jesus told Him to say. Just ask. So remember, if we focus on God, and talk to Him, He will talk to us. May God bless you and your family. Praise The Lord!

Each Day

It Is Written, Psalm 118:24, this is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
To most Christians, it is a very nice verse, and easy to remember. If you meditate on that verse, you can see that it is packed with meaning that isn't apparent at first. You can use it to tell a number of different stories.
The other day, I was thinking about the time Jesus said that we should not worry about tomorrow, but think of today. It was then that verse 118:24 came to my mind. At that point I thought about how the parable of the talents, and Psalm 118:24, had a lot in common.
I started to view each day as a talent. Every day is a new talent, to be used or not. We can follow Galatians 5:22-23, which is the fruits of the Holy Spirit and really have a spiritually fulfilling day. If we do follow them with our hearts, we are piling up treasure in Heaven, and serving God.
As with the parable of the talents, we can follow as we are led and prosper, or do nothing and waste the day God gave us. We must act today, because we may not have tomorrow. God will still love us, but we may not have any treasure in Heaven.
Every day we must make a decision to make the most of what we have been given that day, or to just float by out of fear, or just plain laziness. Just as with salvation, we have to grab it while we are able. Remember, you cannot come back to today, to get what you missed. Don't miss it in the first place.
I believe that if you make the most out of every day God gives you, by focusing on Him, you will have a joyful, fulfilling life. If you are truly saved, I believe you will still get to Heaven, but the time between now and then will be far less enjoyable, not because of punishment from God, but because you will miss out on the joy of pleasing the Lord. May God bless you and your family. Praise the Lord!

Your Way-God's Way

It Is Written, John 16:13, however, when He, the Spirit of truth has come, He will guide you into all truth for He will not speak on His own authority but whatever He hears He will speak;  and He will tell you things to come.
When we are born, we are born into the world and its ways. As we grow, most of us sort out what is good or bad, by what our parents taught us.
As we grow into adulthood, we encounter many situations that we have to figure out for ourselves. We have inner feelings that try to steer us for good or bad. At this point we have to decide which way to go, and don't realize the consequences of those decisions at the time.
Along the way we will meet people who believe in God, and many who don't. Some believe in God and Heaven, and some satan and hell. Everyone has their own idea. Some try to figure out how to get to Heaven, and some think hell is a party that goes on forever.
God wants everyone to go to Heaven, that is why He sent His son Jesus to die and rise again to make that possible. God puts people and situations in our lives to help us get to Him. The catch to it all is, we must use our hearts to decide how to live.
The way to Heaven is both easy and hard. When we accept Jesus as our personal Savior with our hearts and mouths, we are saved. Living like Jesus as best we can, happens only through the Holy Spirit whom we received at salvation.
Live your life as the Holy Spirit directs, not as the world shows you. Do not take eternal life lightly. It is forever, and there is no second chance if you reject Jesus he who has ears to hear, let him hear. May God bless you and your family. Praise The Lord!

A Job to Do

It Is Written, Proverbs 5:21, for the ways of man are before the eyes of the Lord, and He ponders all his paths.
Anyone who has read the Bible, or listened to a preacher, has become familiar with the parable of the talents. Three servants were given different amounts to work with, and their master expected a return from each.  As the story goes, the one with one talent buried it because of fear, and had no return.
Most of us do not realize that our walk with Jesus is pretty much like this parable. Each of us is given a task based on what is expected of us. Everyone is not given the same amount to work with, but each is expected to produce a return.
God gives each person a job or jobs to do in life. I believe He gives those jobs, based on what He expects from each person individually. In other words, how well we will use what He gives us.
When God gives the jobs to us, He holds all of us in the same level of love and importance.  We must realize we are just as loved in a lower job as someone in the so-called higher job.
If God wanted us to do a different job, H e would make it happen. The reward in Heaven is given by how well we do what God tells us to do.
Remember this important point. If you do your best each day, and do it as the Holy Spirit guides you, by circumstances and opportunities, you will do well. If the servant with one talent had done anything with it, instead of burying it, no matter what the results, his master would be happy with him for doing his best.
If we give God our best, He will give us His best. May God bless you and your family. Praise the Lord!

God's Counsel

It Is Written, Proverbs 19:21, there are many plans in a man's heart, nevertheless the Lord's counsel-that will stand.
If you are like most people, you want to feel that you are in control of your life. You have a hidden fear of what will happen if you aren't in control.
Most people rack their brains with plans to make their lives better. They get concerned about all kinds of things, and hope to make them happen, or not happen as the case may be. The problem is, this kind of thinking is flawed. Let me explain.
Let's start with investments of any kind. The first thing to recognize is that whatever you invest in, stocks, real estate, even a business, all are subject to a world that is irrational in thought and action.
What seems like the most profitable investment, can fall off a cliff as they say. Huge percentages of investments can become worthless within minutes. History has proven this over and over. No person, no matter how clever, yes, even you, can avoid it. There are too many things going on we do not know about at the same time and no way to know how each fits in.
Good news though, the creator of the universe invented timing and interactions. He also knows the future. Placing your investment in the spiritual with the Lord will never depreciate, so you will never lose. Putting it all in the Lord's hands, is a win-win investment. It took me a long time to give up and hand it all over to a real expert. As a result I have peace knowing that God is in charge. When you don't have your problems to focus on, you can focus on Jesus, and find your salvation. May God bless you and your family. Praise the Lord!.

The Blahs

It Is Written, Psalm 118:24, this is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
Did you ever wake up in the morning feeling the blahs? For those who are not familiar with the word blahs, here's a description. You aren't depressed, or happy either. You are like you are there, but you are not. You aren't sure what you want to do, because you really don't care about anything at the time. It is a twilight zone kind of moment.
The interesting thing is, you can get  these feelings at any time, in an instant. What you are really experiencing is an attack by the devil. He creates this condition in your mind, in order to try to make further attacks easier.
If he can divert your thinking with the blahs, creating depression and all that goes with it, it will be easier for him. He wants to make you susceptible to sin, by creating the conditions that make his suggestions for sin appealing.
Even if you wake up feeling that way, you can defeat the devil by giving your day to God. You may not want to, but do it anyway. Read a chapter or two of the Word, and say to God, "here I am Lord, what do you want me to do today?" If you are sincere, the Holy Spirit will step in, the devil will leave, and you will be free. May God bless you and your family. Praise the Lord!

Pray for Someone

It Is Written, Job 42:10, and the Lord restored Job's losses when he prayed for his friends. Indeed the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.
Jesus blessed others all of the time He was here on earth. He never tired of giving himself and His blessings to all who asked Him.
The best record of Jesus life was His ministry. In all of the miracles we read about, we never find where He benefited Himself. He always worked miracles for whoever asked.
Jesus told us in His Word, that we are to take up our cross and follow Him. He also told us to preach the gospel, heal the sick, cast out demons. He was serious about this. If we are to follow Jesus by being His mouth, hands, and feet on this earth, by using His name until He comes back, we must get started now.
Intercessory prayer, is prayer for others. We can pray for anyone at any time, putting them ahead of ourselves. Just as Jesus never did anything for personal gain, He expects us to do it too.
When we trust Jesus to guide our lives, we don't have to worry about ourselves, because He will take care of us. God gave us the obligation to share what He gives us, and said the freely you have received, freely give. He blesses those who bless others. Do as the Holy Spirit leads and you will be blessed. Remember that the Lord knows what we need before we even know it, and He will give us the desires of our heart if we follow Him. May God bless you and your family. Praise The Lord!
