You Are Not a Failure

It Is Written, Matthew 26:41, watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
Any Christian who is honest, will tell you that they failed constantly when they tried to follow God's will. Failure can lead to despair, so before we accept the idea of failure, let's take a look at it.
If you read the Bible, you will find that all of the Bible heroes failed at some time or other. Some had a problem trusting God, some did not want to follow God's plan, some followed the world for a while, and even tolerated idols. Even Peter, an apostle of Jesus, denied Him three times when the chips were down.
So ask yourself this question. If these people, chosen by God, messed up at some time, why do you think that you and I, are any different? They were human, and so are we. They lived in a fallen world, so do we. God used them anyway, so He can use us.
The big thing to remember is that God is God. He is so far beyond us in love, forgiveness, compassion, and anything else you can name, that we cannot comprehend the full extent of His love. We see through human eyes, but God sees our hearts, and does not see us as we see ourselves.
If we try our best to follow Him, because we love Him, above all else, He will forgive us no matter how many times we fail. As we forgive those we love, His love for us is unconditional and unlimited. We just have to do our best in the way He leads us, and trust that we are doing what He wants us to do. May God bless you and your family. Praise the Lord!
Remember Jesus Loves You
Prayer of Salvation
Lord Jesus, I thank you for what you did on the cross for me. Your blood washed all my sins, by your stripes I was healed, your death and resurrection brought me salvation. Please forgive my sins, and come into my heart as my personal Savior.
Thank You Lord
Amen
