Are Dreams True

 John 14:26

But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.

When you read about ancient people, one of the most common beliefs that they all seem to share, is a belief in dreams. Most lived their lives by what their dreams told them.

I don't know about you, but I have had some pretty nonsensical dreams. Usually they are so far from reality, that they are something to laugh about. Are they always like that? I will tell you a short story that just happened. See what you think.

As I have said many times, I got to the point of trusting the Holy Spirit to help me with everything, by paying the price for doing everything on my own.

Proverbs 3: 5 - 6 tells us, trust in the Lord with all of your heart and lean not on your own understanding. Acknowledge Him in all your ways and He shall guide your path.

It sounds easy at first, but hard to do, until you see results. Before I do anything, I ask the holy spirit for help and guidance. My wife tells me I say blanket prayers because, they cover everything. I guess I do, because I have so much faith in the Holy Spirit, and because He never lets me down.

Okay back to the dreams. the other night I had a dream that seemed a little strange until my wife explained it to me. In my dream, I was with four other men. We were supposed to build something. I was in charge of the project, so I told the group not to touch anything until we talked to the Holy Spirit. Well we did talk to the Holy Spirit about protecting our eyes, hearing, hands, and everything else including the tools we worked with. At this point I should say that Psalm 91 is  great  for protection. I totally count on it for that, and we pray it every day during our morning prayers.

I finally figured out that when you remember dreams you are remembering something that is a vision of what happened the day before, or something you heard or read about. Usually these are all jumbled up and kind of silly and maybe scary sometimes but they all have one thing in common. If you fact-check your dreams you will find that 99% of them are total nonsense  so you can forget about them. In that small percentage that's left over, if it seems impossible or crazy, fact check them with what the Word of God says. When you analyze your dreams in the light of God's Word,  you can usually see that the Holy Spirit is trying to get your attention. I am not saying this is the case all of the time, but I am saying if you fact-check the dream against the Word of God, the chances are that it is a genuine dream that you can rely on, and therefore act on.

My wife told me it was obvious to her that the Holy Spirit wanted me to talk to Him at all parts of the day. Makes sense to me. This seemed to me to be a confirmation of what I have just mentioned. Sometimes something may not be totally clear but if you start to think out-of-the-box and put God's Word and your dream together, it will more than likely make sense.

Over time you will find out that if you act on what you think the Holy Spirit is telling you, you very seldom go wrong. and on occasion when you do go wrong, if your motive was right, the Holy Spirit will more or less bail you out. You have nothing to lose by following the Holy Spirit, but the troubles you run into by operating without Him. God bless you and your family. Praise the Lord!

Remember Jesus loves you.

Prayer of Salvation.

Lord Jesus, please forgive all of my sins, and come into my heart as my personal savior. I want to serve Only You.

Praise the Lord!

My Time With Jesus Tuesday

 Want More Faith

Romans 10: 17

So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.

More faith is something most believers search for, and pray for. Most  people believe in God, and that is as far as their faith seems to go. Does that sound like you?

No one comes to the father except through Jesus. So it looks like the best place to begin our quest, is to know who Jesus is. Every believer must understand that Jesus died for their sins, which means all of them, no matter how many or how bad.

The problem many people have is that they think they are beyond redemption, or they think they don't need it because they are not sinners. Don't listen to anything or anybody, including me. The Bible is the only infallible source of information concerning God and salvation. The only real source of Truth in this world.

Proverbs 3 : 5 - 6 tells us, trust in the Lord with all of your heart and lean not on your own understanding. Acknowledge Him in all your ways and He will guide your path.

In order to act on this verse, you need the help of the Holy Spirit. You can only get His help when you receive Him at salvation. By reading the Bible, people discover this, and countless other truths.

Faith is not some kind of magic. Just as athletes train and train to get better, regardless of the amount of effort, they know it is something they must continue to do, or lose most of the skills they have acquired.

Faith is like that. You get out of it what you put into it. The harder you work at knowing Jesus, the closer you will get to Him. The Bible is like a treasure map to an incredible fortune. This treasure is  blessings, and leads to a better life today, and an eternity with Father God.

Faith comes naturally when you know the foundation of Faith. The  Holy Spirit will guide you to the right version of the Bible for you, and He will help you understand. Bibles that are available today, are written so that anyone can understand them. Knowing who Jesus really is, and having a closer relationship with Him, is the greatest gift of all time, and it will shock you how close you can get to the Lord in this life. God bless you and your family. Praise the Lord!

2  Corinthians 5: 7 tells us for we walk by faith, not by sight.

Remember Jesus loves you.

Prayer of Salvation

Lord Jesus, please forgive all of my sins, and come into my heart as my personal savior. I want to serve Only You.

Declare Divine Favor

It Is Written, Psalm 84:11, for the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord will give grace and glory; no good thing will he withhold from those who walk uprightly.

Another way to look at God's favor, is to see His blessings. One thing we must understand from the start is, blessings like salvation are a gift from God. We cannot earn salvation or blessings.

When we accept Jesus as our Savior, and the fact that He died for our sins, we become righteous in God's eyes, and become a child of God.

Just as human parents love their children, and have a warm spot for them, especially when the child loves them back, and does what they are told, how much more the Father loves us.

We give gifts and do some special things, for those we love. They don't have to earn our favor, we just bless them. As a child of God, just tell our Father that you are grateful for His favor, and enjoy. God bless you and your family. Praise the Lord!

Remember Jesus Loves You

Prayer of Salvation

Lord Jesus, I thank you for what you did on the cross for me. Your blood washed away all my sins, by your stripes I was healed, your death and resurrection brought me salvation. Please forgive my sins, and come into my heart as my personal Savior.

Believe Salvation

It Is Written, Romans 10:9, if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

There are many Christians who have a problem with believing that their prayers will get answered. This is not uncommon.

Answer these questions. Is Jesus your Savior? Did He die and rise again? Did you repent, and ask Him to come into your heart? Do you believe today's verse? If you answered yes to all of these questions, and agree with Ephesians 2:8-9, for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast, you are saved.

Now back to the prayer problem. If you believe you are saved through faith, does it not seem reasonable to think, that the same faith in prayer, will get results?  If you know the way Jesus is, by reading the Gospels, it is easy to take Him at His Word.

If you pursue anything with all your heart, you will become an expert. The more you work at growing your faith, the more you will receive results in your prayer life. As in life, you won't trust someone you don't know, so it stands to reason, before you can do anything, you must know Jesus. God bless you and your family.

I want to serve only you

Amen

My Time With Jesus Tuesday

 Blood Covenant

 John 1:29

The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world!

What does this verse actually tell us? What does Lamb of God mean? To answer these questions we must go back to that time. Before Jesus came, the Israelites took a lamb that had no blemishes to the temple, to be sacrificed for the remission of sins.

Hebrews 9: 22 tells us,  and according to the law almost all things are purified with blood and without shedding of blood there is no remission.

Exodus 12: 21 - 28  tells us about the first Passover, when the angel of death killed the firstborn of all the Egyptians. Try to make it a point to read these verses, it was kind of long to print here.

This event was actually a covenant between God and man. Many scholars believe that the lamb in each house was a substitute for the firstborn. When the angel of death came, he passed over that house that had the blood of the lamb, because it was a sign that the sins were paid for.

Matthew 26: 28  tells us, for” this is My blood of the new Covenant which shall be shed for many for the remission of sins”.

This of course was the Last Supper, and you could say that what we consider Holy Communion is where it all started.  Just as in the Passover, Jesus the Lamb of God was slain and His blood spilled, as a substitute for each of us and our sins.

Ephesians 1:7 tells us, in Him we have Redemption through His blood. The forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.

Just to clarify what a covenant is. And how serious it is. A covenant between two people, nations, etc was a sacred, unbreakable agreement each party vowed to do their best, and give their best. If either party broke it, it would carry terrible consequences.

We have a blood Covenant with Jesus. He will give us unlimited blessings, and we must give Him our hearts, and faith to His law. When we receive Holy Communion, we remember His promises to us. By His stripes we are healed, His blood washed away all of our sins. I hate to admit it, but it took many years and finally becoming a Christian to realize just how important Holy Communion is and what it means.

1 Corinthians 11:24- 27  tells us, when He had given thanks, He broke the bread and said,” take, eat this is My body which is broken for you, do this in memory of me”. In the same manner he also took the cup after supper saying, “this cup is the New Covenant in my blood. Do this as often as you drink in remembrance of me”. God bless you and your family. Praise the Lord!

Remember Jesus loves you.

Lord Jesus, please forgive all of my sins, and come into my heart as my personal savior. I want to serve Only You.

The Unsaved

Romans 10:9

If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

It troubles my heart to realize that there are countless people in the world, who are unsaved. There are many reasons for that. Some people are brought up in a religion that doesn't teach the truth. They don't even know they are lost.

There are many of course who reject Jesus because they feel that He cramps their lifestyle. They do not want to be accountable, or responsible for their actions. These people are caught up in satan's world. As a matter of fact some people hate Jesus so much, that it even makes some of them crazy. It is an irrational hatred. Most of these people cannot even tell you why.

Then of course you have people who do not believe the existence of Heaven or Hell. Could it be a delusion? Some believe that everyone will go to heaven. They don't realize that they can't change God's rules. Most don't even know God's rules. And of course we have those who know something is missing in their lives, but they don't know what. It  all boils down to this. Time is running out. Only God Himself knows the exact second it will all end. The Bible says the blink of an eye.

All of the people I mentioned are all around us. Our example may be the only one they will ever have with a true follower of Jesus. Our job is to reflect Jesus' light to those we are with. Every good thing we do is noticed by other people. Would you like to have someone question whether you are a Christian because of your actions? As the old saying goes, would there be enough evidence against you to convict you of being a Christian?

Please join me in daily prayer for the lost to find Jesus. A few minutes during your day may mean the difference in someone's eternity.

Acts 4: 12 tells us nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under Heaven given among men by which we must be saved. God bless you and your family. Praise the Lord!

Remember Jesus loves you

Lord Jesus, please forgive all of my sins and come into my heart as my personal savior. I want to serve only you.

A Message In A Dream

Acts 2 : 27

And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God. Then I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh, your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your young men shall see visions, your old men shall dream dreams.

The other night I had the same dream twice. I dreamt that the Lord Jesus asked me to do something that seemed impossible. I trusted Him, so I tried.

As I was trying to do the impossible, I told the Lord, I cannot do it on my own. He said, I will help you. As I struggled I said again, I cannot do this on my own. Once again He said He would help me. This time I started to make some progress. It took two more times of telling the Lord that I could not do it on my own, before I succeeded in doing it.

Philippians 4: 13

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

All the while, I knew that Jesus did not have to help me in that way. He could have just helped me once to accomplish the project. As a matter of fact, He didn't need me at all. I believe He was showing me a few things I must always remember.

I can do nothing without Him.

 It tested my faith.

 It proved the verse

it gave my faith a very large boost.

This experience brought to mind all of the Impossibles that  the Lord Jesus has done in my life. He showed me that He is always with me, and will help me, because He loves me. In case you haven't noticed yet, He is your savior, He loves you, He is always with you, and  will help you too. Just surrender your life to Him, confess your sins, accept Him as your Savior and it's all yours. As with most things, it is not yours until you accept it. God bless you and your family. Praise the Lord!

Remember Jesus loves you.

Prayer of Salvation.

Lord Jesus, please forgive all of my sins, and come into my life as my personal savior. I want to serve only you. .

Praise the Lord!

My Time With Jesus Tuesday

A Lazy Believer

It Is Written, James 1:22-24, but be doers of the Word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the Word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was.

Many people claim to be Christians. In the United States, some 70-80% of the people who were asked if they were Christian, answered yes.

Let's take a look. The average person who claims to be a Christian, bases it on his own opinion, not by what the Bible says. Just because we go to church once in a while, or give a couple of bucks to charity once in a while, or we have heard of Jesus, none of this makes us a Christian.

The Bible is pretty clear about what we have to do to attain eternal life through Jesus. It also explains what we are to do, in Galatians 5: 22- 25, but the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control, against such there is no law and those who are Christ's have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires: if we live in the spirit let us also walk in the spirit. And what not to do in Galatians 5:19-21, now the works of the flesh are evident, which are adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, deceptions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, rivalries, and the like of which I tell you before hand just as I also told you in time past, those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

It seems reasonable at this point to make a couple of assumptions. If people who claim to be Christians, live by what the Bible says, would our country, or the world, be the lawless places they are?

To spend eternity with the Lord, we must know Him, love Him, and serve Him, according to His Word, and not by what the world thinks. God bless you and your family. Praise the Lord!

Quiet Time

Matthew 6: 6

But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place, and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.

Have you ever had a quiet time with the Lord? By quiet time, I mean a time when you met with Jesus in private. You are missing something really important in your life if you aren't separating yourself from the world and spending some time everyday with Jesus.

When I first started spending private time with Jesus, it wasn't easy. I woke up an hour earlier in order to do it. satan stepped in so fast I couldn't believe it. Stuff like telling me I was foolish, my bed was warm and comfortable, do it later, nothing will change, and every other thing he could think of.

Up until the day I decided to do it, satan realized something that I didn't. Private time with our lord Jesus gave me a closer relationship with him, and open my spiritual eyes.

During this special time, I pour my heart out to Him. I try not to complain, but I do tell Him about what I am thinking and feeling. As I talked to our Lord, a feeling of Peace came over me. I know He knows it before I ever tell Him, but something about telling Him, allows you to realize He will take care of everything.

Mark 6: 31

And He said to them, come aside by yourselves to a deserted place and rest awhile. For there were many coming and going, and they did not even have time to eat.

If you desire to at least try it for a week or two, know that satan will try very hard to stop you. Don't let him do it. I start my day with Jesus, and a few people I know do the same thing. A lot of my friends end their day with private time with Jesus. The important thing is that it is private time. Once you start, you will get so much out of it, that you will do it everyday, and  actually look forward to it. God bless you and your family. Praise the Lord!

Remember Jesus loves you.

Lord Jesus, please forgive all of my sins, and come into my heart as my personal savior. I want to serve you only.

The Tongue

It Is Written, James 1:26, if anyone among you thinks he is religious, and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this one's religion is useless.

It Is Written, Proverbs 18:21, death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.

There are dozens of verses in the Bible about the tongue and it's power for destruction. Even though the tongue can be a force for good, by uplifting people and speaking positive things, most of the time it is used for destruction of people and their reputations.

One of the biggest offenders is gossip. Reputations and lives have been destroyed because of gossip. What starts out as a statement by one person, often grows to unbelievable levels, because it feeds on itself by way of the gossipers recklessness, and their willingness to hurt others. The so-called mob mentality takes effect with words.

Lying is another. There is no such thing as a small lie. Psalm 101:7 tells us what God thinks. He who works deceit shall not dwell within my house; he who tells lies shall not continue in my presence. One of the 10 Commandments tells us not to bear false witness. God hates lies. Revelation 21:27 tells us, there shall by no means enter in anything that defiles, or causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb's Book of Life.

Adam and Eve lost the garden of Eden, because they were deceived by satan. He lied about the truth, and evil among mankind came into the world, and is with us today.

I believe God gave us the tongue to praise him and uplift others. God bless you and your family. Praise The Lord!

My Time With Jesus Tuesday

Pray/Praise the Way Ahead

It Is Written, Psalm 34:4, I sought the Lord and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.

Have you ever been concerned about the situation in the world today? How about your future in your personal life? Do you worry, or are you at peace?

If you have a personal relationship with Jesus, you have nothing to fear. You know that you are with God, and God is with you.

If you do not have a personal relationship with Jesus, everything is dark and scary. satan could be running wild in your life, and your fears are becoming your reality.

Consider this. Everything that is happening, can in fact be a wake-up call. satan will tell you that God is punishing you for who you are, or things you did. It is a lie. He's trying to deceive you, to keep you from going to Jesus.

You can determine your future. Turn to Jesus, and open your heart. Listen for His voice, and read His instruction book, the Bible it's all there. satan cannot control your life, if you give your life to the Lord.

As far as the world situation goes, remember this. The children of Israel were not touched by the plagues that devastated Egypt in the days of Moses. God bless you and your family. Praise The Lord!

The Two Sides of Patience

It Is Written, 2 Peter 3:9, the Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is long-suffering toward us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

If you talk to just about anyone about prayer, they will probably tell you that God is super slow to answer prayer. Prayers aren't magic. If a prayer is made with faith and a clean heart, God always hears. If the prayer is according to His Word, it is answered.

If all of this is true, which it is, why does God take so long? One reason it takes a long time in our eyes, is our concept of time is not God's concept of time. Time is nothing to God. Time is a human thing.

Another reason for the apparent slowness is, God is answering millions of prayers. God has to manipulate circumstances for each person, in order for each person to receive God's best.

Suppose we apply the same expectations to ourselves, as we apply to God. How long does God have to wait in order for us to do what He expects of us? God has unlimited patience toward us. He doesn't complain about us, or our slowness to act, so why do we dare to complain about Him?

I believe that the closer we are to God, the fewer things He must arrange to answer our prayers, because we are following him to some extent in the first place ,and that includes His plan. Think about that. God bless you and your family. Praise the Lord!

Resurrection Day

2 Corinthians 6:2

In a favorable time I listened to you, in a day of salvation, I have helped you.

Since the time of the resurrection of Jesus, people have questioned the Bible and its accuracy. They have as one of their favorite arguments, that the bible was wrong about the number of days that Jesus was dead.. The Bible is correct. Hebrews used to call a part of a day as a whole day. Friday was the first day, the Sabbath was the second, and even if Jesus rose one minute after midnight on Sunday, it was still the third day. .

From the time of the crucifixion, through the Resurrection, reports of hundreds of dead people rising and being seen by many eyewitnesses that saw Jesus, was as it was recorded in the Bible. Countless people were converted because of this.

History reports thousands of Christians dying for their faith. Do men die for fairytales? Would you be that convinced if you were a witness? Do you doubt now? Do yourself a favor, and stop following what the world says is true. The Bible says most will perish for eternity.

Jesus conquered death, and in the process He conquered satan. Because of this, we gain eternal life through Jesus, and our souls are taken back from satan who stole them from Adam and Eve.  If not for what Jesus did, we would all be spending eternity in Hell.

I find it hard to separate the true significance of Christmas, crucifixion, and Resurrection. All three were necessary in order to achieve what Jesus did. It took all three of them to keep us from paying for our own sins. Jesus did what we could not do for ourselves. The power of God's love for us can never be fully understood by us, during our normal lifetime. The best way to thank God and praise Him, is to have faith and trust in His Word.

Resurrection Day should be celebrated with song, worship, and please, because by Jesus rising from the dead, we have a new life too. We were dead in sin, but now we are alive in Christ. Hallelujah! God bless you and your family.

Praise the Lord!

Remember Jesus loves you.

Prayer of Salvation.

Lord Jesus, please forgive all of my sins, and come into my heart as my personal savior. I want to serve only you.

Praise the Lord!

Amen

Have A Blessed Day !!!!!!
