God's Promises Sunday

Jesus Teachings Were Familiar

Matthew 13:34, Jesus told the crowds all these things in parables; without a parable He told them nothing.

Matthew 25:13, Keep awake therefore for you know neither the day nor the hour.

When we read the Bible, most of us cannot imagine how anyone understood the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ. The people in the time of Jesus understood quite a bit of what He was teaching because of their traditions.

Parables are short made-up stories to illustrate the familiar to help understand unfamiliar concepts.

Matthew 24:35-36, Heaven and Earth will pass away but My words will not pass away. But about that day and hour no one knows either the angels of Heaven or the Son but only the Father.

In order to explain this to the people Jesus used something they were all familiar with, a wedding. In this case, however, I have shortened the description because it would take a long time and cover a lot of territory in order to give all the details. But here it is in a nutshell, and it will give you the idea.

John 14:3, And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again so that where I am you may be also.

After the couple became what we would call engaged the groom went to his father’s house to prepare a place to bring his bride. At the same time the bride went about taking care of all the preparation she was responsible for. She had to be ready all the time because she did not know the wedding date.

At this time of the betrothal only the groom’s father determined the date based on when he felt it was appropriate. The point is no one knew when the wedding would take place.

Believers everywhere are called the body of Christ. As a group they are called the bride of Christ. The Lord Jesus Christ is the groom.

1 Thessalonians 4:15-17, For this we declare to you by the word of the Lord that we who are alive who are left until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who have died. For the Lord himself with a cry of command with the archangels call and with the sound of God’s trumpet will descend from Heaven and the dead in Christ will rise first. And we who are alive who are left will be caught up in the clouds together with them to meet the Lord in the air and so we will be with the Lord forever.

Jewish people often thought of Noah’s flood as a sign of the day of judgment. So, as you can see from these verses and the brief descriptions I gave, people at the time would probably have a very good idea of what Jesus was teaching, If you want to know the whole story about the traditions connected with marriage in Bible times just Google wedding traditions in Bible times and you’ll get a total description of what it was all about. God bless you and your family. Paise The Lord!

Remember Jesus loves you.

Prayer of Salvation

Lord Jesus Christ I am a sinner. I know you suffered and died on the cross and rose again in order to wash away my sins and to save me. I acknowledge my sins and I Repent of those sins, and I ask you to come into my heart as my personal savior. I believe and I receive the gift of Salvation. Thank you, Lord Jesus. Amen.

Seek And Find

Matthew 16:24, Then Jesus told His disciples if anyone would come after Me let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow Me.

The phrase take up your cross makes many people nervous. In order to understand it you must consider many different verses.

When you combine all the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ and really think about what they are telling you, you will start to get an idea of how much He loves you.

Matthew 6:33 But seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things will be added to you.

As the verse tells us we must first seek the Kingdom of God. When we do with all our hearts, the Holy Spirit opens our hearts and our minds to the truth.

Colossians 3: 17, and whatever you do in word or deed do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus giving thanks to God the Father through Him.

When we see the truth as the Holy Spirit shows it to us, all things start to become clear. An example of a normal path is as follows.

Psalm 118:24, this is the day the Lord has made let us rejoice and be glad in it.

When we start the day thanking God for the day, we commit that day to the Lord. Everything we do that day we make up our minds we are doing it in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit will lead us through the day, and as a result of that we are taking up the cross and following the Lord Jesus Christ. Good things, not so good, we still rejoice and don’t complain because we do it for the Lord.

1 Timothy 2:1, first I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgiving be made for all people.

The Lord Jesus Christ urges us to pray for others from our hearts. We must forget ourselves. The amazing thing that happens is that God blesses us to overflowing when we do. If we trust in the Lord in all things, we will never regret it because He loves us.

The thing to keep in mind, is that in order to follow the Lord Jesus Christ, we must know who He is not just about Him. If we diligently study the sayings of Jesus, usually written in red in a Bible, and really start thinking about them, we will start praying from the heart, thereby getting answers to those prayers. Don’t give up but keep it up. God bless you and your family.

Praise The Lord!

Amen.

Praise The Lord!

My Time With Jesus Tuesday

Don’t Despair

Romans 12:2, Do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewal of your mind that by testing you may discern what is the will of God what is good and acceptable and perfect.

Every person in this world, young, old, in between, in all countries have many of the same experiences. Rich or poor, or in the middle, not one person escapes.

I am referring to hard times in the form of a loss of some kind. Relationships that fall apart, job loss, health issues, and it goes on and on in what seems like never ending problems.

The normal reaction for most people is anger, depression, and a pity party. These may at times seem understandable, but they are deadly to your soul.

These types of things are allowed by God. He allows it but does not cause it. At this point I can hear some people saying out loud or in their hearts “here we go blaming satan as usual”.

The simple truth is satan did cause the problems. Just as a lion goes after old or weak pray for an easy kill, satan relies on the problems that easily snare people who have little or no faith.

When satan finds a weak spot like someone feeling sorry for themselves, he really puts the pressure on. As a person starts getting worse from the extra pressure satan doubles down and calls his associates to the party.

There is a sure way to fight back. I know this sure way from years of experience. One day during what I would call a crisis, in my desperation I called on the name and person of the Lord Jesus Christ.

It wasn’t instant, but things started getting better. satan is terrified by the mention of Jesus name. Another thing I started doing when dealing with satan, I started reading scripture.

When you pray from your heart with the Holy Spirit you will succeed. It isn’t magic, it is the power of God. Here are a few verses for those really difficult times.

James 4:7, Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

Romans 12:2, Do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewal of your mind that by testing you may discern what is the will of God what is good and acceptable and perfect.

Ephesians 6:11, Put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.

Ephesians 6:14-17,  Stand therefore having fastened on the belt of Truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and as shoes for your feet having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace and in all circumstances take up the shield of faith with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one, and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the spirit which is the word of God.

God bless you and your family. Praise The Lord!

Remember Jesus loves you.

Prayer of Salvation.

Lord Jesus Christ, I am a sinner. I know you suffered and died on the cross and rose again in order to wash away my sins and to save me. I acknowledge my sins and I repent of those sins and ask you to come into my heart as my personal savior. I believe and I receive the gift of Salvation. Thank you, Lord Jesus. Amen.

God's Promises Sunday

God Is Still In Charge

Genesis 1:1, In the beginning God created the Heavens and the Earth.

John 1:3, All things were made through Him, and without Him was not anything made that was made.

Every single atom of anything in the universe was designed and put in place according to the will and purpose of almighty God. Everything is where it is and operates the way the Creator planned it.

People often ask where God is in this messed up world, we live in. Why does He allow all this evil? Man with free will started it all when satan came on the scene.

God allows what is going on because He cannot violate His reasons for allowing free will. Almighty God sent the Lord Jesus Christ to earth in order to teach, be an example, and give man a fresh start by His death and resurrection which washed away our sin debt.

As long as man has breath he can decide to accept or reject what the Lord Jesus Christ did for us. Almighty God is allowing each of us to decide where we spend eternity.

God is such a loving God that He will not force anyone to spend eternity with Him if they don’t want to.

The plan God had included not only a beginning but also an end. He gave us the Bible that spells out everything except the date and time of the end.

Almighty God sent the Lord Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, and the Bible to help us to know Father God so that we could spend eternity with Him if we choose. The Bible also explains what will happen to everyone who chooses to follow satan.

Since almighty God created everything, He also planned the outcomes. God honors free will by allowing it to play out. He knew every person before they were created, so it stands to reason that He knew who and when each person would make their final decision about eternity.

I believe almighty God is patiently waiting for the last person that will be saved, accept salvation.

Remember this: Almighty God has a purpose for everything He says and allows. We are the created, it is not our place to criticize the Creator.  What we must do in this life is to trust the Lord God Almighty and wait for His timing. In the meantime we are to love and serve Him and help others find Him by our example. God bless you and your family. Praise The Lord!

Remember Jesus loves you.

The Pleasure Of Holy Moments

Matthew 19:26, Jesus looked at them and said, with man this is impossible, but With God all things are possible.

When Jesus was on this earth, He worked many amazing miracles by faith. We must realize that most of the miracles like healing required the one being healed to believe, receive, and act on it.

Today I would like to tell you about a small book I just read. I believe this book explains how we can make an enormous difference in this world.

I would like to say at this time that I have no vested interest in this book. The author is giving six free no strings copies to all who ask. The book is called Holy Moments and the author’s name is Matthew Kelly.

Many of us smile warmly at others, encourage someone, give a helping hand, curb our anger in a disagreement. All kinds of simple thoughtful acts.

These please God. Holy moments are the same type of actions on our part, but the difference is when we consciously dedicate them to the honor of God, they become much more powerful, and they influence others as well as make us feel good.

The whole idea of the six books is to give five away to people who will do the same. If every other person, did it, the number would grow to an enormous one, and that would lead us back to being Godly moral people.

The whole idea may seem crazy to a lot of people but realize this important fact. satan promoted evil in this world one person at a time, and they did the same.

We can be a Godly country again if each of us does our part. The Bible was the first people changer. Now people forget the word of God but realize this. If we try to follow the ways of our Lord Jesus Christ, things will get better, and the simple ideas of this book will go a long way to helping people act more like Jesus.

Mark 10:27, Looking at them Jesus said, with man it is impossible but not with God because all things are possible with God.

Jeremiah 32:17, Oh Lord God you yourself made the Heavens and earth by your great power and with your outstretched arm. Nothing is too difficult for you!

God bless you and your family.

Praise The Lord!

Remember Jesus loves you.

Prayer of Salvation.

Lord Jesus Christ I am a sinner. I know you suffered and died on the cross and rose again in order to wash away my sins and to save me. My Time With Jesus Tuesday

A Gift To Cherish

Psalm 118:24, This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.

If you are over the age of five, you probably heard this verse quoted at least a dozen times. It has become a statement made by countless individuals who hardly give it a thought. It is kind of like saying bless you when someone sneezes.

I must confess that for most of my life, I was one of those people. One day, I decided to think about what the word said. I thought to myself that it was a good thing to say if you mean it, so I had no choice except to ask the Holy Spirit to enlighten me.

Since my wife and I talk to God and pray during our coffee hour or two, I asked my wife what she thought. She mentioned the fact that we always commit each day to the Lord, asking Him to help us follow His plan for us.

The Next Step was to think about how those days worked out for us. We finally figured out that each day had many blessings, as well as times that were painful, because the Lord was teaching us something. Whatever happens, know that it is for your good in some way. If you needed another reason to rejoice, I believe that is a big one.

It didn’t take long to figure out, if we commit to God’s plan for us, each day was a day to rejoice and be glad, because we were blessed in every way, and we benefited in a big way. Because of this Awakening from the Holy Spirit, we always study verses to see what they really mean, and how they apply to daily life.

Remember this simple fact: and one of these days your Lord has made, you were saved because you were led to repent, and you asked Jesus to be your savior. How much better could it be?

Another good thing to look at as far as another day the Lord has made, is that you get a chance to do something right and according to God’s will. It is kind of nice to realize that whatever you messed up yesterday you can ask the Lord for forgiveness and try to do it the right way today. God bless you and your family. Praise The Lord!

Remember Jesus loves you.

Prayer of Salvation.

My Lord Jesus Christ, I am a sinner. I know you suffered and died on the cross and rose again in order to wash away my sins and to save me. I acknowledge my sins and I Repent of those sins, and I ask you to come into my heart as my personal savior. I believe and I receive the gift of Salvation.

Thank you, Lord Jesus.

God's Promises Sunday

Nothing Is Impossible

John 15:7, If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.

One of the most important subjects most believers ask about is answers to prayers. There are no special prayers for answers from our Father God. Everything must come from the heart.

Mark 11: 24, therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

Matthew: 7: 7, ask and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be open to you.

The Bible tells us in plain language about prayer. When we pray, it must be from the heart. Many people say they don’t know how to pray. The first problem with that is, we are thinking with our human mind. God knows that we need help, so He provided the Holy Spirit to help us.

Romans 8: 26, likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groaning too deep for words.

What this verse means is, we ask the Holy Spirit to take our words, and turn them into a perfect prayer to Our Father God, and He will. The Holy Spirit is the power behind the word of God. He is with us always, even for a simple prayer like, Holy Spirit please help me with this.

1 John 5:14, And this is the confidence that we have toward Him, that if we ask anything according to His will he hears us.

The name of the Lord Jesus Christ opens the door for the answer, help, and miracles. A fact that you may not have known. The calling on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, pleases almighty God, and the miracles or answers to prayer, give glory to God and bless us.

The Bible is full of the promises of God, but in order to be blessed by them we must be aware of them. For instance, if you didn’t know that it is impossible for Father God to lie, how could you have total faith in what He says?

To make a long story short, concentrate on knowing God the Father, the Lord Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. As you get closer to them, your faith will grow, and so will answers to prayer.

Answers to prayer are recording to God’s time. Answers that are no, are to protect us not punish us. The answer yes usually is better than we ask or expected. One more thing. Father God blesses us in a tangible way many times before we even ask. God bless you and your family. Praise The Lord!

Remember Jesus loves you.

Prayer of Salvation.

Lord Jesus Christ, I am a sinner. I know you suffered and died on the cross and rose again in order to wash away my sins, and to save me. I acknowledge my sins and I repent of those sins, and I ask you to come into my heart as my personal savior. I believe and I receive the gift of Salvation. Thank you, Lord Jesus. Amen.

The Heart Of The Matter

Proverbs 27:19, As in water face reflects face, so the heart of man reflects the man.

The heart of man works for good, and at times for evil. The Bible contains many verses about the heart because the heart is what the Lord Our God looks at in all cases.

Matthew 15:18-19, But what comes out of the mouth proceeds from the heart, and this defiles a person. For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false witness, slander.

Desires are formed in the heart. These desires are usually formed by an incident of some kind. Typical desires are lust for anything, not just sexual. Covetousness and greed go together. Anger and hatred toward another person or persons are common.

Jeremiah 17:9-10, The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick; who can understand it? I the Lord search the heart and test the mind, to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his deeds.

Man was created with a brain. In the average person, that brain evaluates a given situation and either stops the body from fulfilling the desire or allows it. Unfortunately, the brain doesn’t always stop evil, or not always decides for good.

Psalm 119:11, I have stored up Your word in my heart, that I might not sin against You.

It is a fact that the desires of your heart will reflect the kind of life you live. Do you follow the Lord Jesus Christ or the world’s systems?

Psalm 19:14, Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, oh Lord, my rock and my redeemer.

Seek the Lord with all your heart, and you will find Him. Follow the Lord’s plan for you by calling on the Lord Jesus Christ to be your Savior. As you walk in God’s way your heart will be clean.

A final word. If every once in a while, you have a thought that is not in keeping with your new beliefs, cast it out immediately, and it is not a sin to you. God bless you and your family.

Praise The Lord!

Remember Jesus loves you.

Prayer of Salvation.

Lord Jesus Christ, I am a sinner. I know you suffered and died on the cross and rose again in order to wash away my sins and to save me. I acknowledge my sins and I Repent of those sins, and I ask you to come into my heart as my personal savior. I believe and I receive the gift of Salvation. Thank you, Lord Jesus. Amen.

My Time With Jesus Tuesday

A New Look At Old Things

Isaiah 43:18, Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old.

Everyone, especially as they get older, enjoys reminiscing about things that gave them pleasure when they were younger. You cannot avoid looking at how much things have changed over the years, and how you feel about it.

Ecclesiastes 3:1, for everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under Heaven.

As the proverb says, there is a season and a time for everything. I would like to use as an example of how one thing leads to another. I installed new virus protection on my computer. It scanned for problems and located several things that affected the computers performance. It asked if I wanted to delete the unwanted and unused. Naturally I did.

Later, as I was using my more efficient computer, I thought about things in the past that I enjoyed, that have become something to be sad, or even angry about because they are no longer available.

The way I figure it, there must be a lot of people that feel the same way. As I thought about it, the Holy Spirit put in my heart something that solves several problems at the same time. What if you could treat your past as the new software treated old problems?

When people live in the past, they are usually unhappy in the present. Many people get so unhappy that they do not even think about Father God, and the fact that He is the answer to everything.

What I am suggesting will solve the problem. Take some private time with the Lord Jesus Christ. Everyone has 15 or 20 minutes in a day to talk to the Lord Jesus Christ and to ask Him to be their partner in turning their life around by giving it over to Him. Your partner.

Proverbs 3: 5-6, trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will guide your path.

The time for the things in the past good or bad, was the past. Be thankful for the good stuff, learn from what hurt, and move on. Cut it Loose.

Today is a new day, and time to make new memories. As you call on Jesus to help you do it His way, you will have great success. With success, times of being unhappy will disappear, and you will look for more time to spend with the Lord Jesus Christ.

By making the Lord Jesus Christ a part of everything you do, and listening to His voice you will be happier than you have ever been and you will be excited when you get up in the morning about what you will do that day. 20 years from now you will look back and all you will see is good memories.

Amen

God's Promises Sunday

The Benefits Of Hindsight

Psalm 91:16, I will satisfy him with a long life and show him my salvation.

As we progress in our lives, there comes a day when we realize we are getting old. We wonder where all those years went, and why so fast.

At this point you realize that you are much closer to the end than you are to the beginning. You can’t help looking at the past and the things you did or didn’t do.

You probably did many good things, and an equal or larger number of mistakes. You must decide how your past will affect the rest of your life. Is it positive or full of regrets?

Titus 2:2, Older men are to be self-controlled, worthy of respect, sensible, sound in Faith, love, and endurance.

I am at that point in my life. I had a long talk with the Lord Jesus Christ about it. I feel He put the following thoughts in my heart, so I share them with you.

You may have been told that the things of this world are worth only momentary pleasure. Whoever told you that was right. Things cannot love, you get tired of them quickly and you can become their slave. Then there’s the fact that you cannot take them with you, and they can keep you from finding almighty God.

God in His love for us presents us with people we love, and they love us. During our lives, we should tell these people that almighty God blessed us by putting them in our lives. Don’t be afraid to tell them that you love them.

If you have children that you brought up without giving them the knowledge of God, you can’t change that now. But you can read Bible stories to your grandchildren and talk to them about those stories.

You can’t change the past, however with the help of the Holy Spirit, you can spend the rest of your life reflecting the light of the Lord Jesus Christ to everyone you meet. A chance to get it right.

Psalm 71:18, It even while I am old and gray, God, do not abandon me, while I Proclaim your power to another generation. Your strengths to all who are to come.

Here’s a thought the Lord put in my heart. Do something nice for someone, even if what they like is not what you like. Make them happy, and you will be too.

The most important thing in life, is finding the Lord Jesus Christ and asking Him to forgive your sins and come into your heart as your personal savior. The greatest gift you can give anyone is to tell them about our savior.

I am 80 years old and working at what I preach. There’s no greater thing anyone can do, then helping someone find Jesus. Praise the Lord! Think about these words and bless someone. God bless you and your family Praise The Lord!

Remember Jesus loves you.

Prayer of Salvation

Lord Jesus Christ, I am a sinner. I know you suffered and died on the cross and rose again in order to wash away my sins and to save me. I acknowledge my sins, and I repent of those sins and ask you to come into my heart as my personal savior. I believe and I receive the gift of Salvation. Thank you, Lord Jesus!

What Is Prayer

Philippians 4:6, Don’t worry about anything, but in everything, through prayer and petition with Thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

As long as man has been on Earth, the question of how to pray and get answers has always come up. First, let us look at the definition of prayer. It is simply communication with God and listening to Him. You pour out your heart as a child to a loving father.

Prayer Is accomplished in private or in a group. It can be spoken with your mouth or in your heart. You are encouraged to use your own words at times you choose. God is only interested in your heart, as simple as that may be.

Mark 11:24, Therefore I tell you, everything you pray and ask for believe that you have received it and it will be yours.

John 15:7, If you abide in Me and My words abide in you, ask whatever you want, and it will be done for you.

A little hint. The closer you get to God, the closer He gets to you. As you grow in faith, your prayer results grow. Prayers for others are very powerful so you may want to take that into consideration when you pray.

Another thing people do, they write a formal request to God for what they need or want. They read it every day until they receive what their request is. This is an idea of what praying constantly means.

There are no magic words to get your answers. However, using the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and reminding Him of His promises is very productive. When you call on the power of the Holy Spirit along with the name of Lord Jesus Christ, you will know in your heart that your answer is coming.

Not everyone is smooth in thought or words. If that is you, stop worrying and start praying. Call on the Holy Spirit to take what is in your heart and present it as a perfect prayer to almighty God. The Holy Spirit uses your words, for what you want, and adjusts everything, words language the whole works. And that way you have a perfect prayer to a perfect God.

Some reminders about prayer. God is not likely to come up with a new Maserati, or a 20-room house. He can, but he likely won’t. Praying according to God’s will with a sincere heart is usually what is the most successful.

Answers are not always yes, because God knows the effects of His answer. He knows what’s best. We also do not know God’s perfect timing. The answer may be yes but not yet.

There is another result I have experienced several times. Our Father many times gives us more and better than we ask. It may be hard to believe but it is not uncommon. God bless you and your family. Praise The Lord!

Proverbs 3: 5-6, trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding acknowledge Him in all your ways and He will make your paths straight.

Remember Jesus loves you.

Prayer of Salvation.

Lord Jesus Christ, I am a sinner. I know you suffered and died on the cross and rose again in order to wash away my sins and to save me. I acknowledge my sins, and I Repent of those sins, and I ask you to come into my heart as my personal savior. I believe and I receive the gift of Salvation. Thank you, Lord Jesus.

My Time With Jesus Tuesday

Revival

2 Timothy 3:1-5, But know this, hard times will come in the last days. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, proud, demeaning, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, irreconcilable, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, without love for what is good. traitors, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure, rather than lovers of God, holding to the form of Godliness but denying its power. Avoid these people.

As a people we have reached a breaking point between God and satan as far as who we choose to follow. Life in the world today is starting to look like the book of Revelation.

Right now, you might be wondering how everything got so bad, so fast. There are many reasons, but a couple of them explain most of it. First, we must resolve to stick to the truth regardless of how it feels.

In the early 60s, society started to change in a big way. Our pastors said nothing, and we were living our own lives, and because very little affected us, we didn’t pay much attention to it.

As time went on, evil grew bolder and got worse. They started on a quest to change the world and the United States in particular. God’s people said nothing, and the evil ones took that as an agreement with them.

Today everything is about politics and virtue signaling. As madness gets more intense, and people find more ways to insult, ridicule, and reject God, this so-called people of God, as well as the churches are still silent.

Psalm 51:10, create in us a clean heart oh God and renew a steadfast Spirit within us.

Psalm 80:19, Restore us Lord, God of armies, make your face shine on us, so that we may be saved.

The biblical definition briefly States that it is in the Awakening or quickening of God’s people to their true nature and purpose. A restoration to well-being.

We all know how crazy everything is but what can we do?  The answer is simple, we must pray for Revival.

2 Chronicles 7:14, if my people, who bear my name, humble themselves, pray and seek my face, and turn from their evil ways, then I will hear from Heaven, forgive their sins, and heal their land.

We must pray from our hearts for God to save us as He promised. Before an election, pray about who to vote for. Vote on their policies and not on their personalities, or who likely will agree with handouts.

If representatives, and all others in leadership who have self-interest and not what you elected them for, find someone who will follow Godly principles.

We cannot allow those who go against God and our constitution to just slide by with no consequences. 90% of the media is corrupt, they lie most of the time if not all the time. and cover up news that is important for people to know, and they do it with a straight face.

Consider where things are going, and how all evil people will face God’s judgment someday. Do you want to share their final chapter? Consider not watching them, not supporting the companies that support them. That would be a good start.

As followers of the Lord Jesus Christ, we cannot just sit back and watch. The only thing we can do is pray and follow God’s word the Bible. Never cease praying, because the Lord hears the fervent prayer of His people and it will come to a point where we will get help in God’s time. God bless you and your family. Praise The Lord!

Remember Jesus loves you.

Prayer of Salvation.

Lord Jesus Christ, I am a sinner. I know you suffered and died on the cross and rose again in order to wash away my sins and to save me. I acknowledge my sins, and I Repent of those sins, and I ask you to come into my heart as my personal savior. I believe and I receive the gift of salvation. Thank you, Lord Jesus!

God's Promises Sunday

Father God Is Our Father

Psalm 103:13, As a father shows compassion to his children, so the Lord shows compassion to those who fear Him.

Many Christians have a problem looking at the Father as a real father. He is invisible, and in many people’s opinions, not involved in our lives. To the contrary, He is very involved with us.

When you are a responsible parent, you not only provide for your children, but you also teach them discipline, responsibility, and you teach them about life.

A wise parent does not always say yes to their child because many times the desires of the child would hurt them in some way.

A wise parent would start when a child was very young to teach them about Jesus. Teaching at a level of a child could be a matter of reading Bible stories.

An important part of being a good parent is constantly reinforcing the fact that they are loved unconditionally. They can always come to you with absolutely any problem, and they will be heard.

Now let’s look to our Heavenly Father and see He operates with us.

Matthew 23:9, And call no man your father on Earth, for you have one Father, who is in Heaven.

Proverbs 3:11-12, My son, do not despise the Lord’s discipline or be wary of His reproof, for the Lord reproves him whom he loves, as a father, the Son whom he delights.

Proverbs 22:6, Train up a child in the way he should go, even when he is old, he will not depart from it.

Our Father God provides all our needs, as we need them. We needed a savior to wash away our sins, so He gave us the Lord Jesus Christ.

Our Father God gave us His word the Bible and the Holy Spirit to teach, help, and guide us. The Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit are always with us.

If we are good Christian parents, we realize that the way we handle God’s gift to us, and to our children, will greatly determine the quality of their lives  and in part where they spend eternity.

All we must do is follow God’s plan with the Bible as a guide to do what He sent us here for. Have you ever heard someone describe other people’s children as sweet and well behaved? God expects that from us, that we are the kind of people that when someone looks at us, they know we are on the right track and we are reflecting Jesus Christ. God bless you and your family. Praise The Lord!

Remember Jesus Loves you.
