Keep Trusting

It Is Written, Psalm 32:10, many sorrows shall be to the wicked;  but he who trusts in the Lord, mercy shall surround him.
Every single believer gets discouraged once in a while, especially new believers.  Most new believers are looking to learn all about Jesus, and how the authority Jesus gave us works.
The Bible is the number one source to get to know Jesus.  Many people are intimidated by it, so they find excuses to avoid studying.  Many of these people look to preachers on TV to explain everything.  Many of these preachers do a very good job in the way they teach and they make everything pretty plain.
We look at Jesus promises in the Bible, and they are wonderful.  It seems simple, but it takes faith.  Preachers also teach what the Bible says, and it seems pretty simple, but it still requires faith.
We tell ourselves that Jesus does not and cannot lie, so what He says must be true.  Simple right?  Wrong.  Faith requires believing without seeing in the natural.  That my friends takes patience as well as faith.
You pray for something for weeks, and nothing seems to happen.  satan stepped in at the beginning to plant doubt and fear in your mind.  As time goes on it may get harder to believe, but don't get discouraged.  Many times while you are still struggling, your answer came, but not in the way you expected.  satan tries to hide it from you to cause you to doubt and have fear.  Jesus always keeps His Word, so trust in that.
As we know, the apostles lived with Jesus for three years, and they still had doubts and discouragement, especially after Jesus died.  Jesus did not condemn them, and he doesn't condemn us.
When you feel like nothing is happening with your prayers, or you feel impatient or weak, or even like you want to forget it all, and do it your way, don't.  Go to a private place and tell the Lord how you feel, then listen for His voice in your heart.  He will never leave you or forsake you.  May God bless you and your family.  Praise the Lord!
Remember Jesus Loves You
Prayer of Salvation
Lord Jesus, I thank you for what you did on the cross for me.  Your blood washed away all my sins, by your stripes I was healed, your death and resurrection brought me salvation.  Please forgive my sins, and come into my heart as my personal Savior.
Thank You Lord
 Amen
