Choices

It Is Written, Isaiah 30:21,  your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying "this is the way, walk in it".  Whenever you turn to the right hand or whenever you turn to the left.
Life is a series of choices.  Everyone must make them on a daily basis. People are even intimidated by the necessity to make them, others don't give them much thought.
Most of us never stop to realize that we even have to make a choice, about how we make choices.  Let's take a look at a few ways even the important decisions are made.
Choices made by any emotional responses are made like a reflex action, and we usually find that our choice was a mistake.
Choices are sometimes made when we don't have all of the facts.  Many times, these choices end up making us realize that we should have been more careful.
Sometimes our choice is to turn a deaf ear to an idea, or suggestion.  The reason is known only to the one refusing to hear or look.  Many good things are often missed when someone has a closed mind.
Many choices in life are simple, and don't really require much thought, such as what you have for lunch, or what you wear that day.
A prudent person looks at all of the facts and how the choice will impact more than the next few minutes.  Sometimes there are no do overs, and the choice affects you and yours for years.
A choice that most people give no thought to is eternity.  Choosing to ignore that there is an eternity does not change the facts.  It is up to each one of us to choose our destiny.  It behooves all of us to get the facts and make the right choice.
As with anything, unless it is a trivial matter, we should take the time to gather the facts and think about what those facts are telling us before we make a decision.  Asking the Holy Spirit for guidance is a terrific idea.  Have a blessed day.
Praise the Lord!
Remember Jesus Loves You
Prayer of Salvation
Lord Jesus, I thank you for what you did on the cross for me.  Your blood washed away all my sins, by your stripes I was healed, your death and resurrection brought me salvation.  Please forgive my sins, and come into my heart as my personal Savior.
Thank You Lord
Amen
