Greetings My Friends;
At one time or another, everyone has had unanswered prayer. There are any number of reasons for this, but none of them are because God doesn't care.
The other day I heard a well-known preacher on TV say that God the father does not answer prayers because he gave all authority to Jesus. That was a little difficult to understand. He went on to explain that when Jesus ascended into heaven God the father turned everything over to Jesus. When we ask according to the Word we are reminding God that we are under the covenant in Jesus name. The prayers are answered because of Jesus name. We must go through Jesus.
Sometimes we use what Jesus called hollow words. These are words that are said as though they were a magic spell, or as something we memorized or gave no thought to. One of the problems in reading or reciting the same prayer all of the time, is that it is very easy to not even understand what you are praying , At that point it is just words.
Another reason could just be plain old lack of faith. Faith is a gift from God. We were all given enough faith for everything we are called to do. The big thing you must remember is that your faith, is to believe in Jesus ability to answer your request. Your faith does not make things happen but your faith in Jesus to make it happen is what gets it done. Always end your prayer in Jesus name.
Sometimes prayers are not answered because we are asking for something that would hurt us or someone else in some way. Asking for things that do not line up with the Word of God can also be a reason. Some people even pray for some misfortune to fall on someone else.
The last one we'll talk about is answers in disguise. Sometimes we feel bad that our prayer was not answered, and may even doubt the power of prayer. This happened to me a couple of times. Months or even a couple of years later, you look back and see that your prayer was answered, but not necessarily the way you expected it. Sometimes you get answers that are much more beneficial than you expected, so you failed to connect the dots and see what really happened.
Prayer that is sincere is always answered, maybe not always the way we expect, but much better. Jesus always said yes. So the best thing is, just have faith that He hears you, and will answer you.
Remember Jesus Loves You
Prayer of Salvation
Father I repent of all my sins. I know that Jesus suffered and died for me, to forgive all my sins. By His stripes I was healed. He rose again to make salvation possible. I ask you Jesus to come into my heart and be my personal savior. Help me to live according to your plan. Thank you Lord.
This will be the back bone of my online Ministry. All are welcome to interact with each other while learning about God, the wonderful blessings he gives us and his compassionate forgiveness. I will give a verse from the Bible then explain in real world examples the meaning.
