Oppression Of Darkness

It Is Written, Isaiah 59:10, We grope for the wall like the blind,  and we grope as if we had no eyes; We stumble at noonday as at twilight;  We are as dead men in desolate places.
Have you ever been in real darkness?  I am talking about dark without even a hint of any kind of light.  The kind of darkness that you cannot even see your nose.
If you are away from the city, on a moonless, starless night, you will experience something that will shock you.  At first you will feel uncomfortable.  It gets worse.
In this total darkness you become aware of some disturbing things.  Time seems to stop.   You can't move, because you can't see what is in front of you.   You actually start to feel the dark pressing in on you.   You listen for sounds, in the absolute quiet of the place.   The quiet becomes unbearable.  As silly as it sounds, you worry about some kind of bigfoot type character attacking you.
As uncontrolable fear starts to take over, you get a glimpse of a tiny light in the distance.  Your mind tells you that there is safety in that light, and you must reach it at any cost.
Take this description and multiply it by an infinate number, and you get a tiny idea of what spiritual darkness is.  satan lays traps, and is worse than the bigfoot you worried about,  because bigfoot can kill you,  but satan can terrorize you for eternity.   Think what that would be like.
When someone is in total spiritual darkness, they search for a light that will never be there.  If you are in spiritual darkness now, you still have a chance.  Look for the light as hard as you can.   Jesus is that light.  As you get closer and closer, that light gets brighter and brighter.  Finally you are in the light and see with new eyes.  Have a blessed day.   Praise the Lord!
Remember Jesus Loves You
Prayer Of Salvation
Lord Jesus, I thank you for what you did on the cross for me.  Your blood washed away all my sins, by your stripes I was healed, your death and resurrection brought me salvation.  Please forgive my sins, and come into my heart as my personal savior.
Thank Yopu Lord
Amen
