Life is Tough

Greetings My Friends;
One of the reasons Jesus came as a man and lived as one, He wanted to experience what we go through. Common sense tells us that we don't really know about something unless we do it. For instance, how can you know how a starving person feels if you have never been hungry.
For many of us catastrophes are a way of life. These catastrophes are only as big as we make them. In this world things have always gone wrong. The big difference between life as Jesus knew it, is we have hundreds of gadgets and their potential problems, He didn't.
We may have trouble in relationships with family or friends. People at work could be a problem. Things break, or just don't run right. We may have a series of disappointments, or what we feel are heart breaking incidents with someone we love. We look at everything on a severity scale whether we realize it or not.
There is no way we are going to avoid some of these problems, they are part of life. I'm sure that in the time of Jesus, they had plenty of their own problems. They didn't have a computer that crashed, or a car that would not start, but they did have things like, will we have enough to eat? Rain can be a nuisance to us because we may have to cancel a picnic, or a game of golf. To the people in Jesus time rain was life.
Okay. I am not trying to trivialize our problems. I'm just trying to show that wherever you live and regardless of the time in history, man has always had problems and he always will.
You may say to yourself that if all of this is true, there Is no way, Jesus could experience all of this stuff. If you look at it with human eyes, you are probably right. Don't forget that God is not limited in his vision. Jesus had the answers for all timeduring His brief stay on the earth. He showed us universal truths by the way He lived. He focused on and lived by the Word of God. God and the Word never change.
Before you start saying that He could because He was God and you aren't, let's look at some things. The Word tells you about blessing us. It tells you to focus on God, love your neighbor, be compassionate, pay your bills. These examples have nothing to do with time or place. These are just a few examples of the way we are to live according to the Word of God.
We create catastrophes by what we focus on. If we focus on things, instead of something being a minor irritant, it becomes a major disaster. We make decisions based on what we focus on. Bad decision, bad outcome. If you stick your hand in a fire, it is not the fire's fault you got burned.
Jesus showed us the way. This life is a stopping off place in our trip back to heaven. We can enjoy the trip if our focus is right.
God Bless You And Remember
 Jesus Loves You
Prayer of Salvation;
"Oh God in Heaven, I believe with all of my heart that Jesus has been raised from the dead. I receive Your Word, and I repent of sin. I renounce the past. Come into my heart, Lord Jesus. I receive my forgiveness. I receive the new birth, cleansed and washed in the Word and in the precious blood of Jesus. Fill me with Your Spirit, in Jesus name. Amen"
