You Are an Influence

It Is Written, Romans 6:13, and do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present  yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as righteousness to God.
Paul was talking about grace, and how we should avoid sin and the lusts of the body. Whether we live by grace or not, influences others as well as ourselves.
It is things we do, that has the greatest impact on other people, especially children. Even the youngest child will figure out if someone is a phony. You can tell a child that they shouldn't smoke for instance, then as you are talking you light up. You start a credibility gap with that child, that can end up shaping their personalities and actions.
Another example is someone who goes to church every week, but lives his life according to the flesh. Lying, cheating, gossip, and the like, do not tell people that you believe in God. Again a neighbor or friend might see the way you are and start acting like you.
If you are helpful to coworkers, don't gossip, you are kind, you will probably help someone else to act the same way, because the actions of a real Christian can help someone's heart change.
Whether for good or bad, what you do sends a message that is much more powerful than what you say. Jesus spent His life on Earth, practicing what He preached. What do your actions preach to other people? Have a blessed day. Praise the Lord!
Remember Jesus Loves You
Prayer of Salvation
Lord Jesus, I thank you for what you did on the cross for me. Your blood washed away all my sins, by your stripes I was healed, your death and resurrection brought me salvation. Please forgive my sins, and come into my heart as my personal Savior.
Thank You
Amen
