When Is Enough?

It Is Written, 1 John 5:21, little children, keep yourself from idols.
God wants all of His children to be happy, and to recognize Him as the one true God. God gave us a free will, so that loving and serving Him is a choice for us, rather than a command with no options. Blessings are a gift and not a bribe.
When we receive a blessing, it is in abundance. God always gives us more than we need. At this point we can do one of two things with our abundance we can share it with those in need, or we can hold onto it. The choice is ours.
When you have abundance, whether it's money or other things, you run the risk of getting greedy. People that are greedy, are in effect making what they are greedy about, their idol or God. The thing about money for instance, is that satan disguises the pursuit of money to make it look like the way to success. Money as well as many other things, can take over your life, before you even realize what is happening.
The best way to live your life, is to turn it over to the Lord. Let the Holy Spirit guide you in everything you do. Speak to Him every day, and rebuke satan if he comes to talk to you. You know it is satan if what he puts in your mind is opposite of the way you know you are supposed to live.
Regardless of what we're talking about, it is important to recognize that the word enough is just like the word abundance to most people. We cannot let the idea of enough, take over our lives to the point that we are never satisfied, and we make stuff our God. God does not bless us to lose us. He gave you more than enough, to help those who have nothing. Helping someone who has nothing is in itself a blessing, because by doing so, we honor God. Have a blessed day. Praise the Lord!
Remember Jesus Loves You
Prayer of Salvation
Lord Jesus, I thank you for what you did on the cross for me. Your blood washed away all my sins, by your stripes I was healed, your death and resurrection brought me salvation. Please forgive my sins, and come into my heart as my personal Savior.
Thank You
Amen
