What Do You Count On ?

It Is Written,  2 Timothy 1:7, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
Maybe this is a question you have never ask yourself. Think about it for a minute.
Many people count on their investments. Stocks are affected the most, even by something that happens on the other side of the world. Events that seem totally unconnected from many stocks, can still affect those seemingly unconnected stocks.  The markets do not act in a rational way, so it seems like a ride on a giant roller coaster, most of the time.
Real estate is not what it once was because the job market has generally been bad. The employment situation is not good enough for many people to afford a house. So home prices are often depressed over a long period of time these days. Actions by lenders, as well as government, can have drastic consequences on real estate values.
People in general cannot be counted on in a tight spot, even family members. Even your best friend will abandon you when times are tough.
You may think a pile of money can help you, but guess what, it can't when you consider things such as health, love, how long you live, where you spend eternity. None of it can be helped with money. Money also creates problems with other people. Just look at some of the stories of lottery winners.
The only answer that is a sure thing in life, is an answer most people reject. That answer is Jesus Christ. He loves you and is waiting for you to come to Him, so He can take care of you. There is nothing He can't, or won't do for those who love Him. Once you have a relationship with Him, He will never leave you or forsake you. God bless you and your family. Praise the Lord!
Remember Jesus Loves You
Prayer of Salvation
Lord Jesus, I thank you for what you did on the cross for me. Your blood washed away all my sins, by your stripes I was healed, your death and resurrection brought me salvation. Please forgive my sins, and come into my heart as my personal Savior.
Thank You Lord
Amen
