Amazing Power Part One of Two

It Is Written, 1 Corinthians 12:7-11 but the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all;  for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit to another, the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of Healings by the same Spirit, to another working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another interpretation of tongues. The one and the same Spirit works all things, distributing to each one individually as He wills.
When Jesus was on this earth, He couldn't work miracles, until His Baptism, when the Holy Spirit came down on Him.  The Holy Spirit was the power that Jesus used, throughout His ministry, in all His teachings and healings, as well as many other miracles including raising Lazarus from the dead.
When Jesus was ready to ascend into Heaven, after His Resurrection, He knew that others must carry on His work. He gave the Holy Spirit to His true followers, in order for them to be able to do what He did. This power from the Holy Spirit is the same power that raised Jesus from the dead.
As many people know by now, intercessory prayer, ( praying for others ) is the most powerful prayer there is. If you look at the gifts we receive when we are Baptized in Holy Spirit, we notice that every one of them is geared to help others in some way.
When you consider that your intercessory prayers are backed by the power of the Holy Spirit, nothing can stop those prayers or command if done in faith. Some people call this, the Authority of the Believer.
An example of how His power works like this. The Holy Spirit is the power source. When you pray, you are flipping the switch. The power that flows through you to whatever the prayer was for. Kind of like turning a lamp on. End of part one. God bless you and your family. Praise the Lord!
Remember Jesus Loves You
Prayer of Salvation
Lord Jesus, I thank you for what you did on the cross for me. Your blood washed away all my sins, by your stripes I was healed, your death and resurrection brought me salvation. Please forgive my sins, and come into my heart as my personal Savior.
Thank You Lord
Amen
