Does God Expect Too Much ?

It Is Written,  John 3:16,  for God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son,  that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
We should ask ourselves what is it that God does expect of us?  Do we think it is reasonable or unreasonable.  When you ask yourself that question, make sure you try to keep emotions out of it.  How you answer that question will determine how you spend the rest of your life.
God expects you to believe that He created everything that exists, including you.  When He created us, He didn't want a bunch of yes men, or robots. He wanted us to love Him, and spend eternity with Him.
God knew we were weak and would occasionally mess up.  He knew that we could not possibly pay for our sins by ourselves.  So He sent His only son to pay for our sins.
God expects us to believe His Word, and accept His son as our Savior.  He wants us to love and rust Him.  He doesn't want to buy our love, He wants us to love Him, because He loves us.
How do we love Him ?  By trusting Him, loving our fellow man, and following Him.  When we do that, and repent of our sins, not because of fear of punishment, but because we hurt Him, we start to get closer to Him.
God also tests our faith once in a while, to show ourselves and our Creator, that we really do believe, no matter what, because He said so.
So the bottom line is this.  When you look at your life, and consider everything along the lines of this message,  Is God expecting too much, or Is He  not expecting enough?  Another question to ask yourself is simply this. If you were in God's position would you be as merciful, kind, and loving, to people that generally don't appreciate it?  I think we all need to really think about these things.
We cannot possibly love more than God.  Have a blessed day.  Praise the Lord!
Remember Jesus Loves You
Prayer of Salvation
Lord Jesus, I thank you for what you did on the cross for me.  Your blood  washed away all my sins, by Your stripes I was healed, your death and resurrection brought me salvation. Please forgive my sins, and come into my heart as my personal Savior.
Thank You Lord
Amen
