Greetings
My Friends
Here
is a word that gets a lot of attention. It can be a good thing, or a
bad thing. You can own it, or it can own you.
We
all need money in order to get the things we need. Some people have
more needs than other people. What is a one man's wants, is another
mans needs.
Money
in itself is not bad. What is bad, is how we look at it. An honest
days work will produce an honest days pay in most cases. It is a
blessing from God. We are to help the less fortunate, and contribute
to our church. If done with a thankful loving heart, it is blessed
and multiplied back to us.
Money
can also be a curse. Some people accumulate money just to have it. It
becomes an obsessions, and becomes more important than God to some
people. It never does them or anyone else any good. When they die,
they do benefit someone at that point. Their whole life was spent
with a false God consuming them.
Then
of course you come to the people who are obsessed with stuff. They
have to have everything they see, as well as more than anyone else.
When it comes to stuff, they can't get enough stuff, and stuff is
there God.
In
the last two cases, people work themselves to death. Some are misers,
some just spend. Many will do anything to satisfy their obsession.
Crying, abandoning the family, and even following the devil.
You
may think this statement follow the devil is exaggerating, but think
about. If your obsession is fired up to the point it becomes your
God, who else are you following if it isn't satan.
Money
and its uses can be a blessing from God, or a means of destruction
from satan. Do yourself a favor and read Ecclesiastes. It was written
by a man who had more of everything, than anyone else in history.
That man was Solomon, supposed to be the wisest of all men. If he can
be taken in so can we.

Jesus Loves You
Prayer
of Salvation
Lord
Jesus, I thank you for what you did on the cross for me. Your blood
washed away all my sins, by your stripes I was healed, your death and
resurrection brought me salvation. Please forgive all my sins, and
come into my heart as my personal Savior. Amen.
