The Tongue Is Mighty
Ephesians 4:29, let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers.
We have all heard about the power of the tongue. To many people, the words are ignored, and life goes on. The words in the Bible are true, and there are many examples to look at in history.
satan used his tongue to lie to Eve. This caused Adam and Eve to sin against God, and they lost Paradise as a result. When that happened Adam could no longer follow God's plan for the Earth. At this point satan took control of the earth.
The history of the earth is one of lies, deceit, corruption, and separation from God. Everything that has come to pass, and everything that will happen is the result of a lying tongue.
Proverbs 18: 21, death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.
There are many examples from fairly recent history to serve as an example. Lying tongues are so convincing that most people cannot connect past and present, so they end up in denial of the truth.
Adolf Hitler took power through his lying tongue, and the lying tongues of the media at the time. The tongue caused the Holocaust, the second world war, and about 50 million dead. It corrupted even children.
James 3: 5-6, even so, the tongue is a little member and boasts great things. See how great a forest a little fire kindles! And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity. The tongue is so set among our members that it defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire by hell.
Many people do not recognize the lying tongues in many of our lawmakers, and most of the media. They have drastically changed our country and the world, and it is not for the better. It has resulted in people losing basic freedoms, and caused them to live in fear.
Ecclesiastes 12: 14, for God will bring every work into judgment, including every secret thing whether good or evil.
Ask yourself how a small group can take control of a significant majority. The answer is simple. Too many people do not search for the truth, because they believe nothing will change, or someone else will take care of the problem.
The Lord God Almighty put us here to follow His perfect plan for us. He did not want us to live in tyranny. We can change everything. Get informed, vote, hold our leaders and media accountable. Pray and take your civic duty seriously.
1 Peter 3: 10-11, he who would love life and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips from speaking deceit. Let him turn away from Evil and do good, let him seek peace and pursue it.

My Lord Jesus Christ, I believe you died on the cross and rose again to save me and to forgive all my sins. I ask you to come into my heart as my personal savior. I repent of my sins,and I thank you and praise you for what you did on the cross to make my salvation possible. Amen.
