Decisions,Decisions

Isaiah 30:21,  your ears shall hear a word behind you saying, this is the way, walk in it, whenever you turn to the right hand or whenever you turn to the left.

As we go through life, we encounter many new and unpleasant situations. Everything we do in life requires a decision. Doing nothing is a decision. We just can't get away from it.

Some people have a system that is like flipping a coin. Deciding something with an uninformed method is  reckless, but every decision no matter how hard we try can be just as dangerous.

When you stop and think, how many people affect the success of even simple decisions, it is mind boggling. To a certain extent every decision is subject to many circumstances.

Proverbs 16:3,  commit your works to the Lord, and your thoughts will be established.

Do you have all the facts? Are those facts true? Are the people involved dependable? What about the things you don't know about, or you can't control?

There is so much involved, even small decisions  can turn up incredibly good, or spectacularly bad. We cannot know or control all of the factors involved.

Proverbs 19:21, there are many plans in a man's heart, but nevertheless the Lord's counsel that will stand.

A good subject to look at is religion. People are taught rituals and traditions that corrupt the truth and deceive people. For thousands of years people have offered sacrifices to their gods to appease those gods who were sometimes nothing more than stone or wood. Some even teach there are many ways to get to Heaven. The Lord Jesus Christ is the only way. Only by His death and resurrection, can man get to Heaven.

The big problem is, no one knows how much it takes to get their version of Heaven. Even mainstream religion cannot be believed, because the word of God has been corrupted in many churches.

Christianity however is a relationship, not a religion. The Bible guides life. The Lord Jesus Christ paid for our sins on the cross, because the cost of forgiveness is beyond our ability to pay.

The Christian Bible tells us we are saved if we call on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, repent, and acknowledge Him as our savior. When you ask the Lord Jesus Christ to control your life, trust Him to make the decisions, and have peace from then on.

As I have said many times in the past, the Holy Spirit was given to us at Salvation to be a helper. Part of His duties is to guide us in everything we think, say, and do. Take advantage of it. That is why He was sent by the Lord Jesus Christ. God bless you and your family. Amen.

Praise The Lord!

Remember Jesus loves you.

Prayer of Salvation.

My Lord Jesus Christ, I believe you died on the cross and rose again to save me and to forgive all my sins. I ask you to come into my heart as my personal savior. I Repent of those sins, and I thank you and praise you for what you did on the cross to make my salvation possible.

Amen
