How It Hurts

It Is Written, Romans 12:18, if it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men.
As we go through life, all of us at one time or another have experienced hurt feelings. You know, things like a forgotten birthday, unkind words or actions, or even inactions toward us. Being disappointed by someone is certain to cause hurt feelings, or resentment.
Hurt feelings are a part of life, there is no getting away from it. Sometimes someone hurts us, and does not even know they did. Other times someone may hurt us on purpose.
Being hurt can be something someone said to us, about us, or someone we love. The more we love someone, the bigger the hurt. We hurt others the same way. On purpose, and not even realizing we hurt them.
Have you ever considered how often you hurt God? We are all His children. Jesus died to make that happen. When we hurt each other, we hurt God more, because He loves all of us.
When we complain, do everything our way, and fail, we are not following God's plan for us. That hurts Him. When we do not appreciate the grace and favor He gives us, we hurt Him more than we can imagine.
As you can see, there are plenty of hurt feelings to go around,no matter who we are. We need to react the way God does, forgive and love the person that hurt us.  God bless you and your family.  Praise the Lord!
Remember Jesus Loves You
Prayer of Salvation
Lord Jesus, I thank you for what you did on the cross for me. Your blood washed away all my sins, by your stripes I was healed, your death and resurrection brought me salvation. Please forgive my sins, and come into my heart as my personal Savior.
Thank You Lord
Amen
