Fantasy

It Is Written, James 1:14-15, but each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. Then when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death.
Have you ever found yourself changing your past, by fantasizing about a different life, that you could have lived?
Many people say things like "if I knew then". It is pretty common to feel that way, especially when you are having problems. The situation in the world these days, causes people to want to escape to something better.
Fantasizing is not a good idea for more than one reason. Fantasy can cause you to draw back from what is really going on. Fantasy can lead to all manner of sin, because it may lead you to do something that creates a price higher than you expect. For instance adultery.
The most important reason to avoid fantasizing, is spiritual. If your past life was unhappy, and not very satisfying, it was what you decided on your own. Your way, or God's way.
If you follow God's plan for your life, He will guide your steps to success. He will put in your heart what you are to do for your good. If you follow grudgingly, or not at all, there are consequences. You are in effect telling God that His plan is wrong. God will let you have your way if you insist, but beware. Every decision has consequences good or bad.
When you happily follow God's way, the consequences are unlimited blessings, and a better life than you could possibly have imagined. God bless you and your family. Praise The Lord!
Remember Jesus Loves You
Prayer of Salvation
Lord Jesus, I thank you for what you did on the cross for me. Your blood washed away all my sins, by your stripes I was healed, your death and resurrection brought me salvation. Please forgive my sins, and come into my heart as my personal Savior.
Thank You Lord
Amen
