The Talents

It Is Written, Romans 12:6-8, having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, let us prophesy in proportion to our faith; or ministry, let us use it in our ministry, he who teaches, in teaching: he who exhorts, and exhortation; he who gives with liberality; he who leads, with diligence, he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness.
When we hear the word talents, in a religious setting, immediately think of Matthew 25:14 to 30. The story tells about a man who went on a journey and gave money to three servants, expecting them to do something with what he gave them. We all know how that turned out.
The average person doesn't realize that God gave each of us talents in the form of intelligence, and abilities, and ambitions of all kinds, such as we see in the Romans 22 verse above.
God expects each of us to use what He gives us, in order to help others, as well as ourselves. Each person's plan from God is supposed to act with other people's plans from God, for the good of all.
When we follow God's plan, and use what He gives us to the best of our abilities, we are pleasing Him, and giving our lives meaning, fulfillment, and peace.
Every person has some kind of gift. We must put out the effort to find it, and then follow through with it, in the name of Jesus. God bless you and your family. Praise The Lord!

Prayer of salvation
Lord Jesus, I thank you for what you did on the cross for me. Your blood washed away all my sins, by your stripes I was healed, your death and resurrection brought me salvation. Please forgive my sins, and come into my heart as my personal Savior.
Thank You Lord
 Amen
