Jesus

It Is Written, Hebrews 2:17, therefore, in all things He had to be made like His brethren, that He might be a merciful and faithful high Priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people.
God sent His only Son to us on a rescue mission.  Jesus became one of us in every way, so that He would know firsthand about what people had to deal with in life.
Jesus lived as we do, with no special privileges.  He grew in faith and knowledge during His years leading up to His ministry.  Since He became a man, I assume that He started with the same faith that we have, but He developed it so much more than us, because He was constantly talking to His Father.
Philippians 2:5, let this mind be in you which was also in Christ.  1 John 2:6, the man who professes to continue in Him, is himself also bound to live as He lived.
These verses tell us we are to be imitators of Jesus in all we do or say.  In order for us to do this, we received the fruits of the Holy Spirit when we accepted Christ as Savior.  Galatians 5:22-23 is a good guide to life as Jesus lived.  Of course there are also commandments to pay attention to.
The amazing thing about what Jesus expects of us, is pretty similar to how we would like to be treated.  It is impossible to list all that Jesus is or did. Even the Bible covers only a small part of it.
It is totally unbelievable to see and hear how much people hate Jesus, and how the mention of His is name stirs up such strong emotions.  It makes absolutely no sense.  For instance.  If I said I hate peanut butter, and you mentioned peanut butter, what would you think if I became angry?  Pretty silly isn't it.  I'm sure Jesus didn't get emotional about something He didn't agree with just because somebody said something.
The reality is, take Jesus out of the picture, and you see the darkness of this world getting darker.  Evil is growing everywhere in the absence of Jesus. People are in denial of anything that they think would interfere with the way they want to live.  If you deny Jesus, H's e still exists.  Deny hell, it still exists.  You can't make things go away just because you don't agree with them.
Jesus is the only way to salvation, but time is running out.  Have a blessed day.  Praise Lord!

Prayer of Salvation
Lord Jesus, I thank you for what you did on the cross for me.  Your blood washed away all my sins, by your stripes I was healed, your death and resurrection brought me salvation.  Please forgive my sins, and come into my heart as my personal Savior.
Thank You Lord
 Amen
