The First Thing

1 Peter 5:8, Be sober-minded Be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion seeking someone to devour.

James 4:7, Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

If you examine these verses, you will come to realize that satan is real. He is the number one deceiver and will try to find a wavering, fearful victim. You’ll also see that our God is much more powerful than satan. Our Lord has given us a way to avoid satan’s attempts to deceive us.

We must first realize that satan will never leave you alone. His attacks seem to be in proportion to the strength of your faith. If you are attacked constantly, it is because your faith is strong. People who are almost never attacked by satan are usually his already and that’s why he leaves them alone.

2 Corinthians 4: 3-4, And even if our Gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. In their case the God of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the Gospel of the glory of Christ who is the image of God.

Here’s a little suggestion that seemed to work well. Start your day by committing yourself and the day to the Lord Jesus Christ. Before you make any decision take it to the Lord in prayer and thanksgiving. I am not referring to what you have for breakfast or to what you should wear. Listen to your heart for His instructions and wait for His time.

If you try to do everything on your own, you won’t hear His voice because you are doing His job, and you will fail. Don’t blame God.

Romans 16: 20, the God of Peace will soon crush satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.

If you put time and effort into knowing God you will be rewarded with a  close relationship to Him. He’s always with us and will never forsake us. God bless you and your family. Praise The Lord!

 Remember Jesus loves you.

 Prayer of Salvation.

Lord Jesus Christ I am a sinner. I know you suffered and died on the cross and rose again to wash away my sins and to save me. I acknowledge my sins and Repent of those sins and ask you to come into my heart as my personal savior. I believe and I receive the gift of salvation. Thank you, Lord Jesus. Amen.

Praise The Lord!
