Faith

It Is Written, 1 John 5:15, and if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked Him for.
When we pray, we sometimes unknowingly set ourselves up for disappointment, and even some depression.  This is especially true when we pray for healing.
We know from the Bible that Jesus healed countless numbers of people.  He did the impossible everyday.  It wasn't just healing miracles, but all sorts of miracles.  Turning water into wine, feeding thousands of people on two occasions with someone's lunch, walking on water, raising the dead etc.
In what turned out to be Pentecost, He gave the apostles the great commission.  Basically He said that we should do what He did, and gave us the authority to do it using His name.  He simply said do it.
The Bible tells us many times, ask in My name and receive, by His stripes we are healed.  The Bible also tells us of miracles the apostles did in Jesus name.  We figure that if we were afflicted with something in Jesus day, and went to Him, he would heal us instantly.
When we pray, most of us expect to receive what we pray for instantly based on the way we interpret what the Bible says.  If it doesn't happen, satan steps in and starts to plant doubt, so that the prayer won't get answered.  Do not fall for that.
When we pray as we ought, that prayer is always answered.  However, many times it is not answered the way we expect, or as quick as we would like.  Sometimes it can take months or even a few years.  Other times the Lord uses doctors, picked by Him, and then directs us to those doctors.  It is still a healing and answered prayer.
God does everything with love for us, and He does it His way.  When you pray, thank Him for healing as soon as you pray for it.  Then just believe and follow His lead.  Thanksgiving is a vital part of healing.
In times like these especially, we cannot give up on prayer especially prayers in the spirit.  Always remember that God will not allow us to deal with more than we are able to handle.  Call out to Him and He will meet you where you are and help you.  When it is hardest to do what you should, that is when it counts the most.  Have a blessed day.  Praise the Lord!
Remember Jesus Loves You
Prayer of Salvation
Lord Jesus, I thank you for what you did on the cross for me.  Your blood washed away all my sins, by your stripes I was healed, your death and resurrection brought me salvation.  Please forgive my sins, and come into my heart as my personal Savior.
Thank You Lord
Amen
