Authority Over satan

It Is Written, Mark 16:17, and these signs will follow those who believe.  In My Name they will cast out demons;  they will speak with new tongues.
Most of us are familiar with some of the obvious signs of satan at work in our lives.  There are some things he does that are not so obvious.  Let's take a look at some things we may not quite realize.
satan gets all puffed up with himself, and tries to bully us into thinking he is in charge.  He isn't.  Jesus gave us authority over satan.
One of his favorite times to attack you, is when a prayer hasn't manifested yet, and you are feeling a little down.  He tries to get you to get angry with God, or to give up on prayer.  That is when you need to rebuke satan and stand on God's Word.
He may put thoughts in your head, hoping you will fall for it.  He wants to get you against God's Word, so that he can put guilt and condemnation on you.  If he can get you to do that, he will then try to convince you that God will not forgive you.  Thoughts are not sins unless you act on them.
satan is a spirit, God is a spirit, and we are spirits.  What sets us apart, is the fact that we have bodies.  Spirits can do nothing on earth without bodies. Therefore, we either do God's work, or satan's work.  God will not force Himself on us.  Because of the authority Jesus gave us, satan cannot force us into anything.
We have been commanded by Jesus to cast out demons by His authority and His name.  As a result, we decide if we will follow God, or satan, by the doors we open.  I repeat, God will not force us, and satan can't, unless we agree.  Because of the authority Jesus gave us, we can rule in our world, simply by calling on that authority in Jesus name.  Have a blessed day. Praise the Lord!
Remember Jesus Loves You
Prayer of Salvation
Lord Jesus, I thank you for what you did on the cross for me.  Your blood washed away all my sins, by your stripes I was healed, your death and resurrection brought me salvation.  Please forgive my sins, and come into my heart as my personal Savior.
Thank You Lord
 Amen
