The Power of Commitment

It is written, Proverbs 16:3, commit your works to the Lord, and your thoughts will be established.

A number of people I know, thank God every morning when they wake up. They thank Him for another day and whatever it brings. A few ask God to help them during the day. All of this is good and should be done every day.

A couple of thoughts occurred to me about each day we live. Most of us ask God for help of some sort, every time we pray. The Bible tells us that God wants to help us and is always there for us.

Consider one or both of the following suggestions. Tell God thank you for the day and ask Him how you can serve Him that day. After all, we're supposed to love and serve Him with all of our hearts.

The other suggestion is, tell the Lord that you commit the day to Him, for the purpose of following His plan for your life. Thank Him for everything that will occur during that day because you trust Him. At that point, throw yourself into fulfilling that commitment.

Whatever you decide to do, it is a step in the right direction. Do it with all your heart, and God will make everything known to you, and help you in all things. We should all show gratitude to God for all the blessings He continues to give us, and one of the best ways to do that is to make a commitment to serve Him each and every day and give it everything you have in you. The Holy Spirit will help you fulfill whatever commitment you make, so treat it seriously. God bless you and your family.

Praise The Lord,

Remember Jesus Loves You

Prayer of Salvation

Lord Jesus, please forgive all of my sins, and come into my heart as my personal savior. I want to serve only you.

Praise The Lord!

Amen
