My Time With Jesus Tuesday

God Is Here

Psalm 145:18-21 tells us, the Lord is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth. He will fulfill the desires of those who fear Him; He also will hear their cry and save them. The Lord preserves all who love Him but all the wicked He will destroy.

Have you ever felt alone, and that God was a great distance away? Let us look at this. The Bible, which is the Word of God, says God is always with us. Jesus is called Emmanuel, which is translated God with us.

So if the Bible says God is always with us, and the Bible says God cannot lie, it stands to reason that God is always here. So where's the problem? If God is not with us, how can this be true. We must look elsewhere for the answer. Let's start with ourselves. Take a good honest look at yourself.

How much time do you spend seeking the Lord? How often do you think about Him? Do you thank Him for being alive, and all of the blessings in your life? The answer always comes up the same God did not abandon us, we abandoned Him.

It is not uncommon to feel that God has abandoned you. I have been there. But as I said, the solution is simple. You will find out that when you feel abandoned if you turn to the Bible and start to read the Word of God, the feeling of abandonment will go away. When the Bible says, seek and you shall find, knock and the door it will be opened, it is definitely true. Try it and you'll see what I mean. God bless you and your family.

Praise The Lord!

Remember Jesus Loves You

Prayer of Salvation

Lord Jesus, please forgive all of my sins, and come into my heart as my personal savior. I want to serve only you.

Praise The Lord!

Amen
