Effective Prayer
Philippians 4:6-7, Don't worry about anything, but in everything, through prayer and petition with Thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and Minds in Christ Jesus.
This verse tells us about what I referred to as a petition. A petition in my experience is the most powerful prayer there is. I have known people who have used this process of praying, and have seen the results in their petitions, and in the ones, I have written over the years.
The first thing we should do is talk to the Holy Spirit about our request. Ask Him for the words, and the faith to believe. He will help you every single time.
Romans 8:26, In the same way the Spirit also helps us in our weaknesses, because we do not know what to pray for as we should, the Spirit himself intercedes for us with unspoken groanings. And He who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because He intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.
Approach God Almighty with your request. I like to think in terms I can easily recognize. Suppose you are an attorney representing a client. God Almighty is the judge. He has a hand-picked jury. God and the jury are always on the side of truth and justice. Unlike an earthly judge and jury, they easily detect false testimony.
Just as an earthly court, decides the merits of a case by written law, the Heavenly courts judge by God's law. When you go to the Heavenly Court, you must believe that the verdict is fair, regardless of the outcome.
You present your case by citing the words of God's law. Then you state your case as it lines up with God's law. Don't ramble, just speak the truth, and believe in the court as being fair and just. You must be honest and believe you'll get a decision in your favor. You have the advantage in the Heavenly court, because Jesus is your advocate.
Hebrews 4: 16, Therefore, let us approach the throne of grace with boldness, so that we may receive mercy and find Grace to help us in our time of need.
Matthew 21:22, And if you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.
Mark 11:24, Therefore I tell you, everything you pray and ask for-believe that you have received it and it will be yours.
One final thought, if you do not have a clean heart, you are wasting your time and effort. Repent first, then approach the Holy Spirit for help. He will guide you from there. God bless you and your family.
Praise The Lord!
Remember Jesus loves you.
Prayer of Salvation.
Lord Jesus, please forgive all of my sins, and come into my heart as my personal savior. I want to serve Only You.
Praise The Lord!
Amen
