The following verse was spoken to the Jews by Jesus. John 8:44, you are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies.
You cannot go through life, without having battles with satan. The greatest, faith filled Christians in history, fought constantly with him.
satan will always try to condemn you. He will beat you over the head with guilt. He will even condemn you for doing things, that he tricked you into doing.
satan likes to bring up your past, and he often tries to make you feel sorry for yourself, in the hope that you will blame God. He distorts circumstances, in an effort to make you complain, because he knows it offends God.
In James 4:7, James states, submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. This is a tool every Christian is able to use in Jesus name. Believe in this verse, and you will change your life. The Holy Spirit will give you strength to resist satan and find peace.
Keep this fact in mind. If satan said it, the opposite must be true. Think about that, before you get all nervous and depressed. He is tricky, and has hundreds of years of experience, if not more. You cannot hope to defeat him on your own, and the Lord knew that, so He gave us the power in Jesus name to conquer satan, through the working of the Holy Spirit. God bless you and your family.
