Role Of law

Psalm 19: 7 - 9

The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul, the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple. the statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart, the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes, the fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever, the judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether.

In any society, one of the many ingredients for success, is a system of rules and regulations, known as laws. Laws can be dictated by one person, or a group of people chosen by the people. Whatever way it is done, laws are supposed to bring accountability and safety to all the citizens.

Romans 13 : 1-2

Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves.

This verse is sometimes a hard truth to accept. People in power either don't know or don't care how they attain their position. They follow what is in their best interest.  Unfortunately judges are no exception, as many do not follow the law, but rule according to their own preferences and affiliations.

Proverbs 28:5

Evil men do not understand justice, but those who seek the Lord understand all.

We must always remember that God put people in power, and laws that are sometimes passed are contradictory to God's law. We are to follow God's law at all times. God is everyone's ultimate judge,  and He will hold us to His rules not ours. I firmly believe that if we follow God's instructions with all our hearts, He will reward us with Godly leaders.

2 Chronicles 7 : 14

If My people who are called by My name, will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

God bless you and your family.

Praise the Lord!

 Remember Jesus loves you.

 Prayer of Salvation.

Lord Jesus, please forgive all of my sins, and come into my heart as my personal savior. I want to serve Only You.

Praise the Lord!

Amen
