The Story Of Man

1 John 1:9

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His Word is not in us.

When you are blessed with time to meditate, it is amazing what the Holy Spirit tells you. For instance.

When God created the Angels, I am assuming God made them perfect in every way. Again, it seems to me that they too must have had a free will. The evidence for that is the rebellion that caused satan and his followers to be cast out of heaven.

satan was not misled by the devil, because he was and is THE devil. When God created man He also gave man a free will. From that moment on, satan and his followers worked on destroying man, God's greatest creation. They did it because of hate for God, and because their rebellion didn't work.

Adam and Eve were  perfect, living in a perfect place. They were able to see God every day, and have a close relationship with Him. When they disobeyed God, they were doing what satan did in heaven. They rebelled against God.

Mankind flourished, but their sinful ways grew even more. Things reached a point that God said, enough. He sent a flood to destroy everyone except Noah and his family. They were righteous in God's eyes, and would be the beginning of another chance for man. Again we see where man rebelled against God with all his sinning and evil ways.

When man started populating the world after the flood, sin started all over again. As more and more people came along, so did the transgressions against God. God didn't want to destroy man again, so He started sending prophets to teach man what God said. Most of them were killed and all were ignored. Does that remind you about the parable of the vineyard and the evil people that attended it.

God then sent Jesus', His only  son, to give man yet another chance. In spite of all of Jesus teaching, miracles, and example, they crucified Him. Another rebellion against God.

By Jesus death and resurrection, man got yet another chance for salvation. People since then,  continue to hate Jesus, and blaspheme against God all the time. It seems they look for ways to go against God, and break His laws intentionally.

We have reached a point in human history, where there is no limit to the evil that man conjures up against God and other men. That story is for another day.

We are speeding into the last days of man and this earth. Each person still has a chance for redemption. One last thought. Doesn't seem to be much if, any difference in what started with satan, and the steps of man. These verses should offer hope.

Psalm 37:4 and Psalm 37:7

Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart. Rest in the Lord and wait patiently for Him; do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass.

Romans 6:23

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

God bless you and your family. Praise Lord!

Remember Jesus Loves You
