The Deceiver

2 Corinthians 4:3-4, But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. Whose minds the God of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the Gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.

The definition of scam is a fraudulent scheme or deceit. satan started evil on Earth by deceiving Eve. He put doubt and questions about God’s Integrity in her mind. She fell for his lies and Lost Paradise with God. The Bible warns us about satan.

1 Peter 5:8, Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.

1 John 5:19, We know we are of God, and the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one.

2 Corinthians 11:3, But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

 All we need to do is look around anywhere in the world. Hate, violence, crime of all kinds. Everywhere people are breaking the laws of God.

Truth is truth. There is only one truth. We don’t get to pick our version of Truth. The Bible lays it all out. It is God’s way that is right and true. He decides what is right and wrong because He created it all.

satan is a deceiver and tries to tell us what our God really means by putting his spin on everything. His eternity is in hell, and he wants to take God’s people with him. Study God’s word to know what is right or wrong. The things of this world are deceitful, and the plan of satan is to grab your Immortal soul and to steal you from God if he can. My Time With Jesus Tuesday

Luke 12:16-21, Then He spoke a parable to them, saying; the ground of a certain rich man yielded plentifully. And he thought within himself, saying, what shall I do, since I have no room to store my crops? So he said, I will do this: I will pull down my barns and build greater, and there I will store all my crops and my goods. And I will say to my soul, soul, you have many goods laid up for many years; take your ease; eat, drink, and be merry. But God said to him, fool! This night your soul will be required of you, then who’s will those things be which you have provided? So is he who lays up treasure for himself and is not rich for God.

Proverbs 27: 1, do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring forth.

Many of us worry about providing for our future. Without a doubt it is the prudent thing to do. But what things should we consider in our plans?

The obvious answer for the believer is to see what God says and seek the help and guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Jeremiah 29: 11, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Proverbs 19: 21, there are many plans in a man’s heart, nevertheless the Lord’s counsel that will stand.

This is an ongoing thing. Ask for help and guidance and wait on God for the timing. God knows what is in your heart because He put it there. The Lord will make things happen that will show when and how to move.

The main obstacle for most of us to conquer is believing we can do it by ourselves. That always leads to disaster. Many people in history made large fortunes without noticing God. The majority lost not only their fortunes but many, their souls as well.

1 Timothy 6: 17, Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the Living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy.

Maybe God’s way seems slow, but His way is lasting. You don’t waste time, and you are praising Him by doing it His way and in His time. How can you lose? You get your earthly desires, and God too. Remember anyone can waste time and effort but only true believers can get it all. God, bless you and your family.

A Matter Of Life Or Death

1 Corinthians 1:18-19, For the message of the Cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For it is written; I will destroy the wisdom of the wise and bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.

2 Timothy 3:16, All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.

Equity is defined as being fair and impartial. Unfortunately, in their quest for equity, many well-meaning people destroy the rights of many for the sake of a few, regardless of the merit of the cause.

 If we look at the world, and the US, we see many things happening that defy logic. Many people hate Jesus. Funny thing is, how can you hate what you don’t know. Are evil spirits behind all this unexplainable behavior?

Getting back to equity. God Almighty is a perfect example of what true equity is. When the Word of God is examined, the rules are absolutely the perfect equity. God is fair, just, impartial, and allows free will.

Hebrews 11: 6, But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

When man goes against God’s Word, he is destroying the very thing that gives equity. Man does not think as God thinks. Man will be judged as God thinks, according to God’s rules.

Where you spend eternity is your choice. God will not make you spend eternity with Him, if you don’t want to. Do yourself the favor of your life. Take a good long look at yourself to see where you are spiritually.

1 Timothy 2: 3-4, for this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

As another reminder, eternity is forever, and where you spend it depends on your decision. Tomorrow may be too late. Are you willing to risk eternity in the wrong place? God bless you and your family.

The Power Of The Blood Of Jesus

 

Hebrews 9:14, How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God.

If you read the last message, you are somewhat familiar with the meaning of the blood covenant. The blood of Jesus is a covenant between God and us through Jesus Christ .Christians have known about the Power of the Blood for as long as there are Christians.

A hundred or more years ago, they pleaded the Blood of Jesus over themselves, their families, and everything they owned or was precious to them. For a long time many in the church thought it was blasphemy, while others knew the true power of the Blood.

For years, I believed that if someone wiped up Jesus blood at the crufixion, that if they touched a sick person with that towel or rag, that person would be healed. At the time I had no idea just how true that was.

Since I was convinced that the Blood had immense power, I started reading all I could, about the Blood Of Jesus.  I was getting both sides of the issue. As I usually do, I asked the Holy Spirit to help me know the truth. I believe I have found out.

When we pray, we have been taught about the power of the name of Jesus when we ask something in that name. It seemed logical to me, that if Father God had so much love for His Son, that He would answer prayer, the Blood must have powerful meaning too.

It was when I found out the true meaning, and power of a blood covenant, that the old light bulb went on. If God has a Blood Covenant with us, that guarantees certain rights to us, and we have certain promises to Him, He cannot go back on His word, unless we do.  A covenant was unbreakable, without severe consequences, from the party who broke it.

Now follow me on this. If we pray to the Father, and plead the Blood of Jesus, in our prayer, there is no way Father God is going to dishonor the blood of His Son. Therefore, it stands to reason, that if we hold up our end, He will not, and cannot, ignore our prayers. So my conclusion was, as long as we keep our end of the covenant, and pray according to the Word, Father God will, and must answer our prayer.

Just tell Father God, that you are pleading the Blood of Jesus over what you are asking. One thing that my wife and I do, is tell Father God that we are washed in the blood of Jesus. According to what I read, satan is made totally powerless against the blood. You should plead the Blood over each one you love, every day.

1 John 1:7, But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the Blood of Jesus Christ, His Son, cleanses us from all sin.

True Thanksgiving

Ephesians 5: 20, Giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

It is the time of year we set aside to thank God for all the blessings we have received from Him. Most of us thank God for the usual blessings. Our family, our health, the food we eat, and sometimes for our jobs. Unfortunately, many of us just say the words without much thought behind those words.

Most of us have more than enough, so it is easy to get to where we take everything for granted. People who have nothing, including no place to sleep, are grateful even for a half of a baloney sandwich. I do include myself in this complacent category by the way. At least it used to be that way.

One day I decided to really put some thought into what I was genuinely thankful for. It was an eye-opener. First of all, I realized how important it was that God Almighty gave His only Son to come to Earth to forgive my sins because there was no way for me to pay for those sins.

Then Jesus gave His life in an excruciating death. He rose again. The Bible tells us that because of His broken body we are healed. His blood washed away our sins. His resurrection made eternal life possible for us. God gave us the Holy Spirit to teach, guide, and help us. To see where this is in the Bible read Isaiah chapter 53.

All we must do to be truly thankful is look at what we have that others don’t. I’m not speaking of material things. I’m speaking of things like both legs work, both arms work, I can see, I can hear. The list goes on and on.

Just remember that God allows everything that happens. He knows and sees everything, and each thing is a part of His master plan that will turn out for the good to all those who love Him.

Romans 8: 28, And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.

1 Thessalonians 5: 18, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

So, my friends be thankful for everything even though at times it may seem difficult. Love and treasure the Lord Jesus Christ because He died for you and me so we could have eternity with Him. In the scheme of things, do you see the big picture, nothing else really matters as much as the salvation of each of us and our families and friends. Be truly thankful for all that God has given you. Patience Of The Lord Jesus Christ

Romans 13: 11, and do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now, our Salvation is nearer than when we first believed.

Do you realize that you are one of the people the Lord Jesus Christ is waiting for?  There is a lot of talk these days about the end times. People are afraid and worried. Why do you suppose that is?

The answer is simple. They have not received the Lord Jesus Christ as their savior. They have been living the Lie by following satan, and as a result, they are  confused, because some of them don’t realize that satan is a Deceiver trying to destroy them.

Many people think they can earn Heaven. Many others believe everyone goes to Heaven.  There are many ways to Heaven, or there is no Heaven or hell.

As in the days of the Pharisees, many people are waiting for a sign of the end times believing that when they do see the sign, they will seek Jesus. Another lie from satan.

The Lord God Almighty is the only one who knows when the end is. The Lord Jesus Christ came to save all who accept Him. He suffered, died, and rose again so that anyone who believes will be saved. 

When the time comes, it will be too late. The events of today in the world should give a prudent person a hint of what is coming. The Lord Jesus Christ is patiently waiting for you and others to come to Him before it is too late. 

Matthew 24: 44, therefore you also be ready, for the son of man is coming at an hour you do not expect.

Eternity

Hebrews 9: 27, and as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment.

Over the years I have known a good number of people who do not take the idea of an afterlife seriously. They act as if Heaven and hell do not exist, or If Heaven does exist, everyone is going there.

I do not know if they think they’re being cool, or they’re trying to be one of the crowd, or even if they are in denial. They either don’t know or don’t care about the consequences of their actions.

John 5:24, most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.

Romans 10: 13, For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

I do not understand how so many people cannot accept the fact that eternity whatever they think it is, is only the blink of an eye, or a heartbeat away. It’s amazing to see so many people that cannot even acknowledge that possibility.

Is it possible so many people do not realize that eternity is forever? Ask yourself this question. If I drop dead a minute from now, where will I go?

Trusting in Jesus and salvation will get you to Heaven. Think about this, if that idea is wrong and nothing happens when you die. what did you lose? If, however you reject Jesus, and what the Bible says is true, your eternal home will be with satan and there is nothing you can do about it at that point. 

1 Corinthians 15: 52, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall all be changed.

So, you see my friends it’s all up to you. Don’t blame God if you end up where you don’t want to be. God bless you and your family.
