My Time With Jesus Tuesday

 The Meaning Of Life

Ecclesiastes 1:9, That which has been, is what will be, that which is done, is what will be done, and there is nothing new under the sun. The Book of Ecclesiastes was written by the wisest of men, Solomon. Many people who read this book think that there is so much despair in it, that there’s nothing in life but waiting for death.

This Book contains many things we have experienced in our lives. You may start to wonder if God really is loving and just. He really is if you know Him.

Solomon has in fact told us how to succeed and be happy by revealing his life to us. The Book of Ecclesiastes is a story of success when we analyze his frustrations.

His observations are a guide to our success. If we pay attention and meditate on his words, the Holy Spirit will put the truth in our hearts. As a matter of fact, we should ask the Holy Spirit for help and guidance before we do anything, and He will do it.

Ecclesiastes 9: 2, all things come alike to all: one event happens to the righteous and the wicked; to the good, the clean, and the unclean; to him who sacrifices, and him who does not sacrifice; as is the good so is the sinner; he who takes an oath as he who fears an oath.

To boil it all down, Ecclesiastes tells us that however old you are you can profit by Solomon’s experiences. Since we have zero control over anything it would be wise to pay attention to the one who really is in control, the Lord God Almighty, the creator of the universe and all that is in it.

We find in Ecclesiastes that things in life are generally worthless. Things we work so hard for, disappear either through misfortune or death. The older we get; we should be able to see the worth of what we strive for.

God wants us to enjoy life and to count on Him for everything, one day at a time. We were not created to serve countless gods, only the true God. If we put our God in first place in our hearts and trust Him, He will give us peace, Joy, happiness, and fulfillment.

When we die, our prized possessions will go to someone else. Ask yourself, did I strive so long and hard to accumulate so that someone else who did nothing, receives it all? Here’s a thought. The people who benefit from what you leave may even be corrupted by it.

! Peter 5:6-7, therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him for He cares for you.

It is as simple as that. Put everything in God’s hands, and joy and peace will follow. God bless you and your family.

Praise The Lord!

Remember Jesus loves you.

 Prayer of Salvation.

Lord Jesus Christ I am a sinner. I know you suffered and died on the cross and rose again to wash away my sins and to save me. I acknowledge my sins and I Repent of those sins, and I ask you to come into my heart as my personal savior. I believe and I receive the gift of Salvation. Thank you, Lord Jesus. Amen.

Praise The Lord!
