My Time With Jesus Tuesday

Why

2 Timothy 3:16-17, All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

If you ask people if they would prefer to drive, or let someone else drive, the answer given most of the time is, I don't feel comfortable with someone else driving.

In this case we assume that each person is equally capable. How about an airplane? Most of us aren't capable of flying, so we must trust a pilot we don't know. If we tried it would more than likely crash.

I pose this question. Who would be more capable of directing our lives, us or God?

God is the creator of everything. Nothing exists without God. He has always existed, so he had plenty of time to plan each movement of each of His creations. Even the stars are where He placed them.

Everything God planned has already happened in the spiritual world, and is playing out in the natural world as we speak. So let's look at man. Back when shoes had laces, how old were you when you learned to tie them. We could go on and on with examples. Most of what we learn, we learn the hard way.

God planned everything. We stumble through life because we don't know what will happen next. God can arrange the pieces, we don't even know how many pieces there are, and we couldn't control them if we did.

Ask yourself who would make the right choice, you or God. If you are honest, the answer is not you or me. All believers have the Holy Spirit to help, teach, and guide them in God's plan. Don't know God yet? Find the Bible with Jesus' words in red. It will start you on the road to Salvation. Here are a couple of verses to help you in your journey to Salvation.

John 14:6, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

Jeremiah 29:11, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

God bless you and your family.

Praise The Lord!

Remember Jesus loves you.

Prayer of Salvation.

Lord Jesus, please forgive all of my sins, and come into my heart as my personal savior. I want to serve only you.

Praise The Lord!

Amen
