satan At Work

It Is Written, James 4:7, therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.
It is no surprise that many people feel that the whole world has gone mad. Terrorism by groups or individuals, is almost a daily occurrence. People seem to kill for enjoyment, and no act is to outrageous to commit.
Political correctness has taken God out of our daily lives in many ways. In the process, besides offending God, going against His laws, our Constitution has been trampled on and rewritten by the Supreme Court.
These advocates of political correctness have given tolerance a new meaning. Instead of live and let live, they considered tolerance to mean that if you don't do what they do, you are a hater, and a bigot.
Man was designed by God, to trust in God for everything. Governments all over the world want everyone to count on them, and not God. While they engage in their remake of society, they are taking away our freedoms.
As people expect more and more from government, they lose more and more of their freedoms. People all over the world are in danger of becoming slaves to their governments. Given enough time, it will happen, sooner than most of us think.
In a world that puts no value on life, what is safe? If we don't pray, vote for good people, if we are even allowed to vote, we are on a slide going downhill that is picking up speed.
Think about this. If one person can lose his rights, all people can lose their rights. Be deceived the longer, by satan and those he controls. Remember this. Nothing is free. It is a tool of satan to distract us, while he is working at destroying us. God bless you and your family. Praise the Lord!

A Wasted Life?

It Is Written, Jeremiah 29:11, for I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
It is common for people to look back at their lives and feel that it was wasted. Feeling that life was wasted has different meaning for different people.
Suppose you feel that your job has no meaning. You think that if you had a more fulfilling job, your life would mean something. Maybe your dreams for whatever, never even came close to fulfillment. You think if they were, you would feel like your life was not wasted.
Sometimes it is hard for people to grasp what life is all about. The reason is, we do not look at our lives, the way God sees them. Life is a journey, designed by God, to get us back to Him. He allows some trials in order to test us. His instruction manual ( the Bible ), tells us exactly how to do that. Among other things, it tells of the importance of trusting God.
We have a choice. We can believe in and trust God, or not. Those who trust God, let the Holy Spirit direct their lives. If they do, problems still come up, and disappointments still happen, but God helps us through them.
If we choose to do everything our way, things will usually go wrong, and get worse. satan is happy when we do it our way, because we are following his plan, for a wasted life, and ultimate destruction.
If in your life, you succeeded in finding Jesus and salvation, you did not waste your life. You are the child of God who can call God, Father. You have won the ultimate prize, and fulfilled the destiny that God had planned before time began. God bless you and your family. Praise the Lord!

What Is Truth?

It Is Written, John 8:31-32, then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, "if you abide in My Word, you are my disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free.
When Jesus was before Pilate, Pilate said in a kind of frustrated way, "what is the truth"? People have asked that question since time began. Most people today, believe truth is what their opinion is. News reporters report the news with a slant that is less truth, and more of their opinion.
Everyone seems to have their own version of truth. It most cases truth is distorted so that a person can avoid accountability, protect their pride, or to promote their opinions. Another way so called truth is guided, is by how a person was brought up.
Decisions that are made based on facts that are not true can be disastrous. Nothing good comes from avoiding the truth. satan hates the truth, so he deceives most people, by giving them false truths.
The only guide for truth, no matter who you are, or where you live, is the Bible. The 10 Commandments were given to man, as a set of guidelines to show them God's idea of behavior.
The Bible and what it says are the truth as God sees it. Disregard it at your peril. The United States began as a country based on the Bible. Over the years we disregarded God's laws, and anyone who is not blinded by satan, sees where that got us.
Another danger about not telling the truth is, when you distort the truth often enough, it gets to the point where it is impossible for you to tell the real truth. A benefit of the truth is, when you tell the truth you don't have to remember anything. God bless you and your family. Praise the Lord!

Bring God Back

It Is Written, 1 Timothy 4:1-2, now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons. Speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron.
The world has gone mad, is an opinion shared by many people. Our country is broken and dysfunctional.  What is going on, and how do we fix it.
The problems we have, started when government started to take God out of everything. The void was filled by political correctness, an idea from satan to destroy a Christian nation.
Political correctness has run amok. Our Constitution has been rewritten by the Supreme Court. Our society seems to prefer a system without law and order, backed by a government that pushes political correctness.
We could go on and on with this, but it would require a book. It seems to many that some of our society is influenced by God, and most of the rest of it by satan. There are answers.
We are going to have an election in a few months that will affect even our grandchildren and their children. The system can be fixed if all of God's people call on Him and do their duty.
Everyone you speak to, hates both candidates and complains about not having a choice because both are not trustworthy. Well folks, let me say this. It may not be pleasant but it is true. There were plenty of candidates in the primaries that were good.
None of them are running for president, because it was too inconvenient for good people to actually vote. We can turn this country around by prayer, and voting for people who will bring God back, so that our country will be blessed again.
We can't really blame politicians for lying or anything else, because that's all they know. We knew who they were when we elected them and very few of us did our part to change anything. Bad judges that corrupt the Constitution and trample it in the dirt, and change the laws, or write new ones to eliminate God, are picked by bad presidents.
Remember this, if you don't vote, you get what you deserve. Vote the Bible and you will see this country prosper again. We cannot afford to keep silent any longer, we must make ourselves heard. God bless you and your family. Praise the Lord!

You Can Love People

It Is Written, John 13:34, a new commandment I give you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.
Talking about loving others may seem an impossible task, but is it? The word love according to the Hebrew and Greek dictionary has more definitions than love as we know it. Other definitions include being compassionate, benevolent, and fraternal affection.
If we follow Jesus command not to judge others, we can love others. That does not mean loving, or accepting what they do. We can hate what people do, but we must keep the actions separated from the person.
In these days of ultra political correctness, there are as many different lifestyles as there are people. The biggest problem is that people with a different lifestyle try to force everyone else to agree with their lifestyle. They feel if you don't accept their lifestyle you are intolerant, or hateful.
Tolerance is accepting that other people have their own opinions, and not harboring ill will toward them for those opinions, or whatever it is they are doing. satan closes many eyes to the truth, and that usually results in sin.
So be compassionate toward others, regardless of what they believe, and don't judge them. God created all of us, and will deal with each of us when the time comes. God bless you and your family. Praise the Lord!

Daily Prayer

It Is Written, Psalm 5:3, my voice you shall hear in the morning, O Lord; in the morning I will direct it to you. And I will look up.
We have looked at private time with God on several occasions. I look at praying first thing in the morning as spell tithing. I'm giving God the first part of the day He gave me, and He will bless the rest of my day.
Morning prayer, every morning, also helps us to know God, and to get close to Him. Praying every day, ends up turning into a relationship, as with your best friend, only better.
As this relationship progresses, you will find you will involve Jesus or the Holy Spirit, in your day. You will end up talking to them all day long, sometimes just a matter of seconds, other times longer.
As you go about doing this, you'll start to realize all the blessings and favor you are suddenly receiving. You have been receiving some all along only now you become aware of them. Your faith will grow into mountain moving faith. You will live in the perfect peace of God, and walk in His grace and favor. God bless you and your family. Praise the Lord!

Regrets

It Is Written, Psalm 25:7, do not remember the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions;  according to Your mercy remember me, for Your goodness sake, O Lord.
Nearly every person alive, can look back in time and discover things that they regret. There are many reasons for regrets, including some that it seemed, could not be helped, at the time.
Regrets can be things we did that we shouldn't have done, or things we did not do, that we should have done. Sometimes things just happen, and we assign guilt to ourselves.
Whether we make bad decisions because we acted hastily, out of pride, anger, or just plain ignorance of the facts, they still end up haunting us for life if we let them.
No life is without mistakes. Every little thing we do, satan puts thoughts in our heads, and then blows them out of proportion in our minds. He wants everyone to feel like the biggest failure that ever lived. For most of us the biggest regret we should have is, that we let satan condemn us in the first place.
The answer to these regrets is to leave them in the past, and ignore satan when he brings them up. Remember, he wants to destroy us, and control us.
When Jesus died on the cross, all of our sins, past, present, and future, were forgiven. Accept His forgiveness by repenting and asking Jesus to be your savior. When you do, everything you ever did wrong is washed away. At that point, when you realize what you received, the past becomes something you have selective memories about, usually the good stuff.
Before you make any decisions, get in the habit of asking the Holy Spirit what He thinks. Follow what he tells you, and you stand a pretty good chance of having few, if any regrets in the future. God bless you and your family. Praise the Lord!

God In Your Life

It Is Written, Galatians 5:22-23, but the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering,                ( patience ) kindness, and goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.
Have you ever wondered about whether you are saved or not? Many people do. Some unfortunately still think they can earn their way to Heaven with good works. That creates a problem, because how many good works would it take?
Jesus made it simple. He made it so that we are saved by the grace of God, and not by any works we do. He gave us the written Word, a book of instructions on how to get to Heaven.
satan wants people to believe that God would not send people to Hell, regardless of the life they lead. This is just a variation of how he deceived Adam and Eve. Adam and Eve found out about satan's deception, when It was too late.
God does not send people to Hell. People choose for themselves by rejecting Jesus and His Word. You make the choice, so choose well.
It is possible to accept the existence of Jesus in your head but not have Him in your heart. A good way to tell if you are saved is easy. If you said the prayer of salvation with your heart, you received the Holy Spirit and the fruits of the Spirit.
If you meditate on today's verse, and compare it to your life, and read the Word of God, you can be pretty sure you are saved, if you are exercising those fruits. Salvation only comes through Jesus.
Remember this fact. Believing in Jesus is not enough, even satan believes in Him. You can never grow in your faith if you don't have an ongoing relationship with God. As I've said many times before, the closer you get to God, the closer He will get to you. At that point there will be no doubt in your mind about whether you are saved or not. God bless you and your family. Praise the Lord!

Listen

It Is Written, John 16:13, however when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.
Over the last week or so, I spent quite a bit of time listening for, and meditating on the voice of the Lord. That may seem strange to people who have not really paid attention to it in their own lives, but it is true.
God speaks to everyone, but not everyone hears Him. If you are not familiar with God's Word, the Bible, chances are good that you too will not hear Him. If you read His Word carefully, chances are good you will hear His voice, because you will be listening for it.
Here is another shocker. You can carry on a conversation with the Holy Spirit, just as you would with your best friend. Many times I would be doing something and run into a problem. It got to the point where I automatically say, Holy Spirit, what should I do now. In most cases His answer is immediate, and I know what to do. If I forget something like a phone number, I ask Him and wait. He always answers.
The next important thing, is to follow through on what He tells you. If what you hear does not go against the Bible, it is probably the Holy Spirit. If in doubt ask Him for verification.
Listening to that small voice and doing, is critical. Ask yourself this. If Noah and many other Bible figures did not act on the Word of God, you and I would never have heard of them.
God takes the perfect person for each task. The perfect person that is, in God's eyes, because most of the time He uses people you would least expect. He doesn't care how smart you are, how good-looking you are, how big or how small you are. Many people have a hard time believing God could use them, but fortunately it is what God thinks of us that counts. It is the greatest privilege there is, to serve Almighty God.
Now you may be saying to yourself this all sounds like fantasy. Let me just say this. If you haven't really tried to follow God and listen for Him, on what do you base your decision. It's the same thing with eternity. If you don't know what the Word says about being saved, how can you possibly be saved? You don't run your life making decisions without any facts do you? Think about that. God bless you and your family. Praise the Lord!

Turn It All Around

It Is Written, Isaiah 30:21, your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, "this is the way, walk in it", whenever you turn to the right hand, or whenever you turn to the left.
Almost everyone has heard that you should turn your will over to God, so that you can fulfill God's plan for your life. That my friends can be a very difficult or impossible task for the vast majority of people.
There are a couple of big reasons why it is so hard to do. A large percentage believe that they are in control, and do not want to give up their perceived control. The fact is, none of us has control to begin with.
In Ecclesiastes 9:11 (NKJV ) it says, the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, nor bread to the wise, nor riches to men of understanding, nor favor to men of skill;  but time and chance happen to them all. The next big reason is that people do not accept what Ecclesiastes says, or they just don't trust God. They probably don't trust Him, because they do not know Him.
Then of course you have people who would like to put their lives in the hands of the Holy Spirit but are too afraid to do it because they have a faith problem. There is however a simple suggestion, based on real experiences of regular people, including mine.
Spend some time in the Bible every morning. Make it a priority, and spend some time just talking to the Holy Spirit. Regular conversation from the heart, for as much time as you are comfortable with.
After a while, take some kind of problem you're having, and ask the Holy Spirit to take care of it, because you don't know how. Thank Him for doing it, and don't even think about the problem you gave to Him. It is now His problem, not yours.
As you begin to see problems resolved, you'll start to turn over more and bigger problems. You will then reach the point where you don't want to deal with anything by yourself. You will then put yourself and your family in the hands of the One who knows all and does all for your good, the Holy Spirit. God bless you and your family. Praise Lord!

Observations On satan

It Is Written, 2 Corinthians 4:4, whose minds the God of this age (satan ) has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.
We talked about the end of the book of Revelation, and the fact that God and all believers who follow Jesus win. What about the rest of the people, what happens to them?
The same book tells us that satan and those who follow him, lose forever. Did his followers know what they were doing?
When satan was thrown out of Heaven for his rebellion against God he hated God. He made it his mission to corrupt all of mankind, and to replace God with himself.
All through history, we see that satan deceived man to the point where man could not tell right from wrong. satan made every imaginable sin seem pleasurable. Man got so wrapped up in sin that he could not hear the voice of God.
satan messed up when he instigated the death of Jesus. In satan's mind Jesus death was a victory. When Jesus rose from the dead however, instead of victory for satan, it turned into death for eternity for satan, and his followers, and life for those who follow Jesus. All of us who are alive, have a chance for eternal life, by accepting God's gift of salvation to everyone who wants it.
Remember this simple fact. If you want to learn something and excel in it, you don't ask the biggest loser of all time to teach you. If satan tells you anything in your heart or mind, be sure that the opposite is true. satan and hell are no joke, or fantasy. Don't find that out the hard way. When you die, and we all will, we cannot change our minds. Jesus is waiting for you with love, mercy, and open arms. God bless you and your family. Praise the Lord!

Observations On God

It Is Written, Psalm 25:10, all the paths of the Lord are mercy and truth, to such as keep His covenant and His testimonies.
Chapter 17 of Genesis explains the covenant between God and Abraham. That same covenant is passed on to all believers, for all time. Chapter 12:1-7, and chapter 15 of Genesis also explains some of it.
If you are like a lot of people who read books, you go to the end to see how it turns out first. Whether it is a book, or a rerun of a crucial football game, many people can relax and enjoy it more when they know the result.
If you go through the last chapter of Revelation in the Bible, you'll see that Jesus and all believers win. Since you know that you win, you can just relax and do as the Holy Spirit leads you to do without any anxiety or hesitation. When you focus on eternity with Jesus and all who believe, it makes everything seem a lot easier..
When you look at the finished picture, you can see how all the pieces of your life came together. You can also see how much God loves you, and why you should love Him. If you meditate on what the Lord has done in your life, you will have very few questions in your mind.
Life is one big learning experience. When you see something God wants you to do, and it seems too hard, just look at the book to remind yourself,  how everything God does is for our good, and is meant for us to spend eternity with Him.
Nothing is random or for no reason in God's mind. When you know what the end result is, you can relax and meditate on each step. A small reminder. Do not try to figure out what God's reasons are. He is the creator, and he knows what's best. He passes that knowledge on to us through the Bible. Just trust what he says, and lead a very fulfilling life.
The Bible is a story of love, truth, trustworthiness, mercy and sacrifice toward man. God does this for all people, even those that hate Him.  Remember salvation is a gift from God, that none of us can earn, or deserve. Praise the Lord and rejoice in love and trust Him always.  May God bless you and your family. Praise The Lord!
