What Is Truth?

It Is Written, John 8:31-32, then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, "if you abide in My Word, you are my disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free.
When Jesus was before Pilate, Pilate said in a kind of frustrated way, "what is the truth"? People have asked that question since time began. Most people today, believe truth is what their opinion is. News reporters report the news with a slant that is less truth, and more of their opinion.
Everyone seems to have their own version of truth. It most cases truth is distorted so that a person can avoid accountability, protect their pride, or to promote their opinions. Another way so called truth is guided, is by how a person was brought up.
Decisions that are made based on facts that are not true can be disastrous. Nothing good comes from avoiding the truth. satan hates the truth, so he deceives most people, by giving them false truths.
The only guide for truth, no matter who you are, or where you live, is the Bible. The 10 Commandments were given to man, as a set of guidelines to show them God's idea of behavior.
The Bible and what it says are the truth as God sees it. Disregard it at your peril. The United States began as a country based on the Bible. Over the years we disregarded God's laws, and anyone who is not blinded by satan, sees where that got us.
Another danger about not telling the truth is, when you distort the truth often enough, it gets to the point where it is impossible for you to tell the real truth. A benefit of the truth is, when you tell the truth you don't have to remember anything. God bless you and your family. Praise the Lord!
Remember Jesus Loves You
Prayer of Salvation
Lord Jesus, I thank you for what you did on the cross for me. Your blood washed away all my sins, by your stripes I was healed, your death and resurrection brought me salvation. Please forgive my sins, and come into my heart as my personal Savior.
Thank You Lord
Amen
