Dealing With The Times

Proverbs 3: 5 - 6

Trust in the Lord with all of your heart, and lean not on your own understanding;  in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your path.

These are times that can make positive thinking people start to turn negative. Most of us sit around trying to figure out what to do next, while others sit around and go deeper and deeper into despair.

Romans 12:2

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Here are a couple of facts that most of us know, but usually forget in times of stress. God is in charge, and He has a master plan. God sees the whole picture including everything He has planned for each of us.

Proverbs 16: 3

Okay, so we know all of that, or we should know. Now we have the words, but what  do we do. The answer is simple, but sometimes very hard. That answer is, change what we focus on.

Proverbs 12:25

Anxiety in the heart of man causes depression, but a good word makes it glad.

Focus on the Word of God. His Word is true and uplifting. Really get into thinking about what it says and means. The concordance at the back of the Bible lists where to find verses on many different topics. Next focus on your blessings, and realize that God is in charge, and He loves you, and will not let you down.

There is one amazing thing that we should all remember. The Bible is the word of God, and is the only source of truth in this universe. Take its lessons to heart, meditate on the truths it contains, and you will feel like an entirely new person, with an entirely new way of looking at things. God bless you and your family. Praise the Lord!

Remember Jesus loves you.

Prayer of Salvation.

Lord Jesus, please forgive all of my sins , and come into my heart as my personal savior. I want to serve Only You.

Praise the Lord!

Amen
