Pray For Leaders

Romans 8: 7

For the mind that is set on the flesh is hostile to God, for it does not submit to God's law, indeed, it cannot.

We are living in times of unprecedented rejection and hatred of God. Our leaders seem to be leading the way in going against God's laws.

2 Timothy 2: 26

And they may come to their senses and escape from the snare of the devil, after being captured by him to do his will.

As human beings, we see disaster after disaster every day. It is hard to see what is going on in that hate or somehow Strike Back. Corruption, hatred, and Injustice, are everywhere. Violence is making a huge impact on everyone. It is a time of testing on her face. Let us not forget.

Hebrews 13:17

Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they are keeping watch over your souls, as those who will have to give an account. Let them do this with joy and not with Groening, for that would be of no advantage to you.

Daniel 2: 21

He changes times and Seasons; he removes Kings and sets up Kings; he gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding.

Through the human mind, these verses seem impossible to comply with given the circumstances. Remember this though, God has a plan. By allowing what is going on, God is showing us how things really are in a world controlled by satan.

2 Corinthians 4:3- 4

And even if our gospel is veiled it is veiled to those who are perishing in their case the God of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the Gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

If we are really saved, we realize that the only answer is prayer. People scoff at that  idea, and some call it fantasy. Those of us who know in our hearts that God's Word and plans are perfect for those who believe and wait on Him, live with peace in our hearts.

 2 Chronicles 7 : 14

If My people who are called by My name humble themselves, and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

So it all boils down to this my friends. Pray for our leaders, even if you don't like them. As with most things of God, it is simple, but it is hard. Always remember this, God's Word is true and He is not a man that He should lie. He will never ever let you down if you are following His plan and His Word. God bless you and your family. Praise the Lord!

Remember Jesus loves you.

Prayer of Salvation.

Lord Jesus, please forgive all of my sins, and come into my heart as my personal savior. I want to serve Only You.

Praise the Lord!

Amen

Believe Salvation

It Is Written, Romans 10:9, if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

There are many Christians who have a problem with believing that their prayers will get answered. This is not uncommon.

Answer these questions. Is Jesus your Savior? Did He die and rise again? Did you repent, and ask Him to come into your heart? Do you believe today's verse? If you answered yes to all of these questions, and agree with Ephesians 2:8-9, for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast, you are saved.

Now back to the prayer problem. If you believe you are saved through faith, does it not seem reasonable to think, that the same faith in prayer, will get results?  If you know the way Jesus is, by reading the Gospels, it is easy to take Him at His Word.

If you pursue anything with all your heart, you will become an expert. The more you work at growing your faith, the more you will receive results in your prayer life. As in life, you won't trust someone you don't know, so it stands to reason, before you can do anything, you must know Jesus. God bless you and your family. Prayer of salvation.

Remember Jesus Loves You

Prayer of Salvation

Lord Jesus, I thank you for what you did on the cross for me. Your blood washed away all my sins, by your stripes I was healed, your death and resurrection brought me salvation. Please forgive my sins, and come into my heart as my personal Savior.  I want to serve only you.

Thank You Lord

Amen

A Lazy Believer

It Is Written, James 1:22-24, but be doers of the Word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the Word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was.

Many people claim to be Christians. In the United States, some 70-80% of the people who were asked if they were Christian, answered yes.

Let's take a look. The average person who claims to be a Christian, bases it on his own opinion, not by what the Bible says. Just because we go to church once in a while, or give a couple of bucks to charity once in a while, or we have heard of Jesus, none of this makes us a Christian.

The Bible is pretty clear about what we have to do to attain eternal life through Jesus. It also explains what we are to do, in Galatians 5: 22- 25, but the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control, against such there is no law and those who are Christ's have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires: if we live in the spirit let us also walk in the spirit. And what not to do in Galatians 5:19-21, now the works of the flesh are evident, which are adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, deceptions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, rivalries, and the like of which I tell you before hand just as I also told you in time past, those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

It seems reasonable at this point to make a couple of assumptions. If people who claim to be Christians, live by what the Bible says, would our country, or the world, be the lawless places they are?

To spend eternity with the Lord, we must know Him, love Him, and serve Him, according to His Word, and not by what the world thinks. God bless you and your family. Praise the Lord!

Remember Jesus Loves You

Help From God

 Isaiah 41:10

Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.

Have you ever thought about help from God when you weren't desperate? If not, you are not alone. Many people are oblivious to God's willingness to help us for all kinds of reasons. Let's look at a few.

Many people think they are self-sufficient, and can do all things by themselves’ These people cannot, or will not admit they need help. It is a question of pride, regardless of the pain. This is probably one of the worst spots you can be in, because you're so wrapped up in your own abilities, that common sense does not figure into the equation.

Proverbs 3 : 5 - 6

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your path.

Most people don't realize how much God loves them and wants to help. People find it very hard to believe that God will help. I guess it's a trust issue. Some people think that God doesn't get involved with people or their problems, so they don't ask God for help. Other people don't even realize that they need help, or they think their problem is too small for God to help. Everyone seems to have a reason for not talking to God.

Psalm 37: 5

Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass.

So now we get to those who have accepted Jesus as their Savior, and know they can count on God for help. These people trust God for everything, and involve Him in all of their decisions. They seek His guidance as a way of life. If you read the Old Testament, you'll see that David always spoke to God. You also see that when the Hebrew people went into a battle without asking God if they should even do it, they lost. When they did consult with God He told them what to do, and no matter what the odds, they were successful.

Psalm 34: 17

The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all of their troubles.

So my friends, it may be a good time to consider where you fit in this picture. Life is a stopover on our trip to eternity. God gave the Holy Spirit as a helper, to guide you, and as a teacher to all who accept Jesus Christ as their savior. Being totally honest  about it, the trip to heaven has plenty of potholes, and some hard times. God allows it because it builds our faith. If everything was always perfect, where would faith be? After all, life is the perfect way to find out where you stand with God.

God bless you and your family.

Praise the Lord!

Remember Jesus loves you.

Prayer of Salvation.

Lord Jesus, please forgive all of my sins, and come into my heart as my personal savior. I want to serve Only You.

Praise the Lord!

Our Fellow Travelers

John 7:24

Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgement.

Have you ever looked at yourself and others, and wondered what life was all about? Have you ever questioned the things you do, or why others do what they do?

There are basically three types of people. One type are the ones who are saved by grace, then those who reject God and are doomed, and the last group, the largest of all. These people either accept Jesus, or reject Him, They are fence-sitters, and are great subjects for us to pray for and help.

John 3:17

For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

Just before Jesus Ascension, He commanded His disciples to teach the Word to all nations and people. That spells out the job believers have. There is more to it, than just words.

The first thing we must realize is there are many reasons people act the way they do. Some are sick, some lost loved ones, some are depressed. Most don't know about God's plan for them, so they follow the crowd to a miserable life, and eventual destruction.

We must take all possible reasons into consideration. As we all know the Bible tells us that judging people is wrong. Words are just words. Actions speak louder than anything. When we do not judge someone, and use compassion and positive lifestyle as an example, it is a very good start.

Galatians 5:22 - 23

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control, against such there is no law.

Ask the Holy Spirit to help you see yourself and others, as God sees you and them. Ask the Holy Spirit in Jesus name, to send someone to you that you can help. Ask the Holy Spirit to give you the words, genuine love and compassion, to lead someone to Christ. You are planting a seed that the Holy Spirit will make grow into salvation and a love for God.

Remember that it may take what seems like a lot of time and effort, with no apparent results, but don't give up. God didn't give up on you or me, so we don't stop until God tells us to. God bless you and your family. Praise the Lord!

 Remember Jesus loves you.

 Prayer of Salvation.

Lord Jesus, please forgive all of my sins, and come into my heart as my personal savior. I want to serve only you.

Praise the Lord!

Lesson from God

2  Timothy 3:16 - 17

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for Doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

How is your life going, compared to what you want or expected? You do know that God has a plan for you, right?  Do you realize that the whole purpose of God's plan is to get you back to Him for eternity?

Jeremiah 29:11-13

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon me and go and pray to me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.

If your life is going as you expected and planned, and you are pretty happy and healthy, I have a word of warning for you. All good things come from God because He loves you. He showered His grace on you, and put you in your situation. Do not ever forget where the blessings come from, and start thinking it is all your doing.

If on the other hand you are constantly struggling with everything in your life, such as finances, it could be that God is trying to tell you something. Did you know that Moses and the children of Israel took 40 years to make an 11 day trip? God kept them going around the mountain, because they would not listen. Take heed  and start paying attention. Find out what God is all about, and who He is, in His word, the Bible.

Proverbs 16: 9

A man's heart plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps.

In life satan is always trying to get you. If you are happy, he tries to get you to forget God, because you can do everything by yourself. If things are bad, he wants you to blame God. Always be aware that you are a child of God, and as such satan hates you. Since satan hates God so much he figures the best way he can hurt God is to hurt His children, including you. When you know God's Word, how He is, what He expects, you are much better prepared to deal with the sneaky ways satan goes about trying to do harm. If you don't know who God is or what He is all about, you are leaving yourself wide open for more problems than you can imagine.. Do yourself a big favor, pay attention to what you think, say and do. Remember this, God is always with you,  and the Holy Spirit is here to help you.

God bless you and your family. Praise the Lord!

 Remember Jesus loves you.

 Prayer of Salvation.

Lord Jesus, please forgive all of my sins, and come into my heart as my personal savior. I want to serve only you.

Praise the Lord!

Dealing With The Times

Proverbs 3: 5 - 6

Trust in the Lord with all of your heart, and lean not on your own understanding;  in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your path.

These are times that can make positive thinking people start to turn negative. Most of us sit around trying to figure out what to do next, while others sit around and go deeper and deeper into despair.

Romans 12:2

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Here are a couple of facts that most of us know, but usually forget in times of stress. God is in charge, and He has a master plan. God sees the whole picture including everything He has planned for each of us.

Proverbs 16: 3

Okay, so we know all of that, or we should know. Now we have the words, but what  do we do. The answer is simple, but sometimes very hard. That answer is, change what we focus on.

Proverbs 12:25

Anxiety in the heart of man causes depression, but a good word makes it glad.

Focus on the Word of God. His Word is true and uplifting. Really get into thinking about what it says and means. The concordance at the back of the Bible lists where to find verses on many different topics. Next focus on your blessings, and realize that God is in charge, and He loves you, and will not let you down.

There is one amazing thing that we should all remember. The Bible is the word of God, and is the only source of truth in this universe. Take its lessons to heart, meditate on the truths it contains, and you will feel like an entirely new person, with an entirely new way of looking at things. God bless you and your family. Praise the Lord!

Remember Jesus loves you.

Prayer of Salvation.

Lord Jesus, please forgive all of my sins , and come into my heart as my personal savior. I want to serve Only You.

Praise the Lord!
