Many people are so afraid of satan that they are almost afraid to do anything. Don’t get me wrong he is not to be taken lightly, but he can be dealt with in Jesus’ name. At this point I’d like to make some things clear in your mind. Several well-respected teachers share these thoughts. It is a fact that satan will try every trick he knows to get you to do what you know is wrong. Rebuking him or casting him out would get him to leave but you must know what the Bible says about that. One of the most powerful weapons we have is quoting scripture.
One of the things satan likes to do is put sinful thoughts in your mind. There are many times he actually put bad thoughts, in someone’s mind while they were praying. Then he has the nerve to tell that person that they are a sinner and God will punish them.
As far as thoughts in your mind that are passing through, everyone has them. You are not guilty of a passing thought unless you act on that thought. You cannot stop anything from popping into your head at any time, just say to satan it’s not your thoughts it’s his. If you are a believer most or even all of these thoughts at times are not sins. satan can only do to you what you allow him to do. God has given you weapons to defeat satan every time. Jesus’ name and the armor of God will defeat the most powerful demons in hell
Matthew 4:10, Jesus said to him, away with you satan! For it is written you shall Worship the Lord your God and him Only You Shall Serve.
The Lord Jesus said that to satan and that was the end of satan’s attempt at that time. At any time we can remind satan of that little thing by quoting that scripture.
You cannot defeat satan on your own. Many people try to chase satan every couple of minutes by running around in a panic. Remember that standing on the word of God is the only way to get satan out of the situation you find yourself in. Think of it this way when you see a parent constantly screaming at their child, the child ignores what they say, and will do it again and again just to get attention. The best thing to do is just ignore him. Picture satan as that child.
If you do not recognize satan’s presence, you really hurt his pride. His problem stems from his oversized ego and believing he is like God. It probably makes him nuts when he is ignored. He has no control over someone that doesn’t pay any attention to him. If you are being attacked you’ve got to concentrate on the word of God and he has absolutely no power over you
Remember this simple fact. Most of the things you beat yourself up for, are things satan condemns you for. He is trying to deceive you into thinking it’s a sin. Just remember the mighty name of Jesus and His presence in your heart along with the Holy Spirit is the answer to everything whether it’s satan or any other problems. God bless you and your family. Praise The Lord!
Remember Jesus Loves you.
Prayer of Salvation.
My Lord Jesus Christ, I thank you and Praise you for what you did on the cross to make my salvation possible. By your stripes I was healed, and your blood washed away all my sins. I Repent of all my sins, and I ask you to come into my heart as my personal savior. Amen!
Praise The Lord!
