1 Corinthians 15: 56-57, the sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
There are many people in the world today, probably the majority, who do not think there is anything to be grateful for. This is a mistake that many people do not even realize. Most of us were brought up to be thankful when someone gives us something. While that is true it is more than that.
Almighty God works in our lives every single day. There are things He does for us that make us feel good, but we don't associate it with our Lord. There are also things that happen during the day that we are not happy about, and we don't realize it is for our own good.
The reason for gratitude every single day to Almighty God is that no matter what happens it is for our good. You might be asking why should I be grateful when things don't go the way I want them to go? The answer is simple, Almighty God is behind it.
You will find that as years go by you inevitably will look back at things that happened in your life, and you will realize that the times you were kept from doing something was actually for your own good. You probably didn't recognize it at the time, but the day will come when you will.
Almighty God is always working in our lives 24 hours a day, every second of every minute, He is there watching over us and trying to steer us in the right direction. Whether we listen to Him or not is up to us.
The Bible tells us, and I have found out, that if you commit your day to the Lord and absolutely put everything that happens into His hands, the outcome will be a good one. You may not think so in that particular day but there will come a day where you will see just how much He did for you. Let God be God!
Proverbs 16:3, commit your works to the Lord, and your thoughts will be established.
When you commit yourself and your day to the Lord, you are giving Him authority and responsibility for you. If you do not take God into the equation and go about doing things your way, then you are totally responsible for what happens, and have absolutely no business blaming God for anything.
Psalm 37:5, commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him and He shall bring it to pass.
Always be thankful no matter what. About 50 years ago I read a book entitled Praise the Lord Anyway. That book changed my life. I started out skeptical, but I soon found out the truth of it.
So, my next question to you is, do you want to be a winner, or a loser? The answer should be obvious. God is always a winner and if you follow Him, you are a winner. satan on the other hand is nothing but a broken down loser and following him makes you a loser. God Bless you and your family. Praise The Lord!
Remember Jesus Loves you.
Prayer of Salvation.
