Called Last
Matthew 20: 1-16, is the parable about the laborers. To sum it all up it tells about the people who labored in a man's field. Some started at the break of day, and others started at different times during the day including an hour before quitting time. They were all paid the same.
This would be very hard for any of us to accept if we were the ones involved. It does not seem fair, and the man who owns that field would probably have trouble finding people to work for him after that.
That's really not what all of this is about though, it was a parable told by Jesus that had a meaning different than what it seems. To put it in simple terms as I understand them, it is a story that can be interpreted as an example of the road to salvation.
Some people start out knowing about our Lord God Almighty because of family influence. They get to know God early in life and find salvation is a gift from God. Others can be said to be less fortunate.
Many people struggle through their whole lives chasing what isn't real because the world does it that way. The world preaches no accountability for anything. They view everything as correct no matter how much it goes against the word of God.
As people go through life being lied to every single day it is very difficult to learn the truth and accept the truth as the truth. Our Lord knows that, and I believe that when someone finds the Lord Jesus Christ as their savior, it's like salvation is a reward for fighting the battle of life.
We must remember that no matter what we are going through, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ knows what it's like to have a problem on earth just like we do. It was said a long time ago that the end of time will not come until every single person that ever will be saved, will finally be saved.
Another thing to remember is that salvation is a gift from God and by the grace of God. It's nothing we do or don't do in this life, as far as works goes. It's a question of stamina, and persistence, in pursuing the truth. The truth in this situation we call life, is finding the truth according to God's word which is the Bible.
Believe it or not, we are all called, but many do not answer. Unfortunately, too many follow satan, some not even knowing they're doing it, and they don't hear the call. In many cases common sense is the beginning, and our attempts to find our Lord Jesus Christ are rewarded.
The conclusion is my friends, don't give up. Don't believe the lies, ask the Lord to guide your heart, and do as you are LED. God Bless you and your family. Praise The Lord!
Remember Jesus loves you.
Prayer of Salvation.
My Lord Jesus Christ, I Thank you and Praise you for what you did on the cross for me. By your stripes I was healed and your blood washed away my sins. Your death and resurrection made my salvation possible. I confess my sins, and I ask you to come into my heart as my personal Savior. Thank you Lord
Amen!
Praise The Lord!
