God’s Timing

Galatians 6:9, let us not weary while doing good for in due season we shall reap if we don’t lose heart.

Today I’d like to talk about a problem most of us have. That problem concerns patience, faith, trust, and just plain old waiting on God.

Whether we pray for someone else or for ourselves, waiting for the manifestation of what we pray for can be very difficult. The more you want something, the harder it seems to get.

What we don’t realize is that our impatience can sometimes lead to doubt. Lack of faith or doubt block God and what he is asked by us to do. If we wait long enough, and that is usually because we don’t get out of the way and let God do it, we sometimes make the fatal mistake of trying to do it on our own. This spells disaster.

1Corinthians 1:7, so that you come short in no gift, eagerly waiting for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ.

What we must get into our heads is the fact that God Almighty has a plan for each of us. The key to answering prayer besides faith, is to get out of the way. God’s plan for each of us was put into effect before there even was an Earth. His plan for each of His creation was unbeatable and beyond our imagination.

God knows our needs and our wants. His plan was designed to take care of everything. He put Desires in our hearts, and waits for us to act on it, ask and step aside. If you think you’re waiting too long for God to do His part, think about how long God waits for you to do your part.

When you ask in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and believe enough to stay out of it, God goes to work. Remember, He operates in the spiritual World. He starts to line everything up and bring it all together. When it comes together you have what you ask. Take the human body for example. Each cell takes its turn in the proper sequence to function properly with all the other cells. That’s how God’s plan works. Everything at the right time. The timing is perfect.

You may think you’re too old to wait for God’s timing, but you aren’t. I found out a long time ago that a year of God’s plan is so much better than a lifetime of mine. God sees the whole picture coming including the perfect result. We only see our nose. Which plan do you want to pick? Remember the old saying “timing is everything! God bless you and your family. Praise The Lord!

Remember Jesus loves you.

Prayer of Salvation.

My Lord Jesus Christ, I thank you and Praise you for what you did on the cross for me. By your stripes I was healed and by shedding your blood you washed away all my sins. Your death and Resurrection made it possible for me to have salvation. I confess all my sins, and I ask you to come into my heart as my personal savior. Thank you,

My Lord Jesus Christ.

Praise The Lord!

My Time With Jesus Tuesday

Witnessing For Christ

Matthew 5:16, let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in Heaven.

If you were to ask the average church-going Christian about witnessing for Jesus, they would probably tell you that they think they should, but they have a difficult time doing it. Most people think the only way to witness for Christ is to ring doorbells and pass out tracks. I’m not saying this is wrong, it is just one way, and it doesn’t work very well with some people.

I once told a story about a couple I had known for a long time. As you well know, when you see somebody, they ask you how everything is going but they don’t really care. I know when someone asks that they don’t expect a real answer. They should never ask me, because I will break the unwritten rule and actually tell them.

Well getting back to this couple. When I mentioned my ministry, you would think I was talking about the social life of a germ. They couldn’t be less interested and changed the subject with the speed of light, but it didn’t faze me. The brief meeting became even briefer because they obviously were uncomfortable.

When I first started this ministry, I asked the Holy Spirit to guide me and tell me what to say. and allow Him to do the rest. Part of that was finding the right people to hear the message. I believe that if you’re reading this message now, it is part of His plan.

Getting back to the couple I spoke about. It was a few weeks after that that I received a phone call from the man. He asked me how he could find me online. I told him, that was all I said about it. A month or two later I received another call. This time they told me that they read almost all of the messages I had written. What a change of hearts.

To make a long story short, it shows me that the Holy Spirit is working. He inspires me and He will inspire you. When you feel the urge in your heart, start talking to Him to find out what it is He’s really trying to tell you. You would be surprised at how much you really start to believe. Just takes a little matter of time and believe it or not you will start acting the way your heart leads you, and by doing good, exhibiting to the rest of the world the reflection of the light of Jesus.

Daniel 12:3, and those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the firmament, and those who turn many to righteousness like the stars forever and ever.

God bless you and your family. Praise The Lord!

Remember Jesus loves you,

Prayer of Salvation.

My Lord Jesus Christ, I thank you and Praise you for what you did on the cross for me. By your stripes I was healed, and by shedding your blood you washed away all my sins. Your death and resurrection made it possible for me to have salvation. I confess all my sins, and I ask you to come into my heart as my personal savior. Thank you, My Lord Jesus Christ.

God's Promises Sunday

How Deep Is Love

John 3:16, for God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

As human beings having a free will, we don’t realize the responsibility and accountability that comes with it.

When you go deeper into the meaning of things in the Bible, you begin to see things you don’t realize when you read the Bible like a book. Here are some things to really think about.

Ephesians 5:20, giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

When we live for the world, we break God’s heart. We are committing spiritual adultery. The thing that was created takes the place of the Creator in our hearts, thus becoming a false god.

God’s love for us is unconditional, our love is conditional based on our faith and obedience. If we really understood what that means, we would love God with all our hearts.

Exodus 2:5, you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I the Lord your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate me.

That reference was to idols and false gods. When we refuse to thank almighty God for His blessings, He will not allow us to enjoy those blessings. How long would you give gifts of great value to someone who does not acknowledge the gifts?

Think about this. The greatest judgment almighty God can bring against us, is to let us do everything our way. That my friend would lead to eternal judgment.

Psalm 103:2, bless the Lord, oh my soul, and forget not all His benefits.

Faith and trust in almighty God is not a game, and we cannot afford to have the attitude that sin is okay because God will forgive it. Repeated sin can lead to a seared conscience, and inability to seek forgiveness.

When you read the Bible, you find out that our Lord Jesus Christ taught Love and forgiveness, All the time. God bless you and your family. Praise The Lord!

Remember Jesus loves you.

Prayer of Salvation.

My Lord Jesus Christ, I thank you and Praise you for what you did on the cross for me. By your stripes I was healed, and by shedding your blood you washed away all my sins. Your death and Resurrection made it possible for me to have salvation. I confess all of my sins, and I ask you to come into my heart as my personal savior. Thank you, My Lord Jesus Christ.

Not Their Fault

Romans 2:1, therefore you are inexcusable, oh man, whoever you are who judge, for in whatever you judge another you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things.

Every one of us have had times in our lives when we had to deal with people who we thought were acting strangely or doing things that seemed different or wrong to us. How do you explain some of these behaviors?

A classic example is that of a father and his children. I have heard a guy say that the only way he and his sister survived childhood, was the fact that they had an enemy in common, their father.

Galatians 6:5, For each one shall bear his own load.

Unfortunately, there are many people who feel a lot like that. In most cases the causes are similar. The parents, especially the father, raises his children the way he was raised.

Almost all of the habits your parents passed on to you, are a result of what was passed on to them. If we realize this fact, it can help us be better parents. First, we must forgive our parents because they didn’t know any better.

If your dad was distant and not very interested in you, use that to be better with your children. Children imitate their parents and learn right or wrong from them.

We are responsible for the well-being of our children, because we are one of the reasons they are here. They didn’t just appear on our doorstep. They are our responsibility.

The idea is, if you break a generational lesson you learned from your parents and start doing things the correct way, it is likely your children will grow up and instruct their children properly. And so, it goes, generation after generation, each one better than the one before. That is what the Lord had in mind. It’s not that hard. It takes help from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, and determination. I say that because I know what it takes to break traditions and start doing things the way they should be.

Proverbs 22:6, train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

The Lord God Almighty will bless you and your family. And so, your children will bless you. Praise The Lord!  God bless you and your family.

I confess all my sins and I ask you to come into my heart as my personal savior. Thank you, My Lord Jesus Christ.

My Time With Jesus Tuesday

Focus Changes

Proverbs 16:3, Commit your works to the Lord, and your thoughts will be established.

As we go through life, we must react to situations that come up daily. Some are different, but many are familiar.

When we are children, everything is new and exciting. We all learned that everything does not go the way we thought. Our first encounter with problems we must deal with makes us really think about how to handle it. If we had some kind of guidance, or do we have to figure something out?

Proverbs 4:25, let your eyes look straight ahead, and your eyelids look right before you. Ponder the path of your feet, and all your ways be established. Do not turn to the right or the left; remove your foot from evil.

When we are single, we realize how important a job is. We must pay rent, as well as figure out about meals, utilities, relationships, and a certain number of responsibilities. We are concerned to a great degree about our own well-being.

The next step is getting married. When we get married and have children, our focus turns toward our spouse and children. Our decisions are based on how to take care of our family, and much less on ourselves.

Matthew 6: 33.-34, but seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

Inevitably we will come to the time when we’re dealing with old age and retirement. This is a time of life that has its own challenges. Health issues are more common, usually less income and sometimes more expenses.

At this point you may look back and see that all these situations have something in common. They have all been observed by our Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.

If you knew that you had perfect help available and all you had to do is listen and follow, what would you have done?

I spent many years of doing things on my own and having one disaster after another. Even these disasters worked for my good, because my Lord Jesus Christ was looking out for me.

An important truth is, He took care of me when I didn’t even acknowledge Him. Then one day by the grace of God I woke up and finally saw. My life took a drastic change, and I found our savior.

As we can see, every phase of life required its own thing that we focused on more than anything else. The thing we didn’t realize is that through all of this we had help we didn’t know about, all we had to do was ask. It is never too late. So do yourself a favor and don’t waste any more time and call on the Lord Jesus Christ and accept Him as your Savior.

I therefore confess all my sins and ask you to come into my heart as my personal savior. Thank you, My Lord Jesus Christ.

God's Promises Sunday

The Greatest Truth

John 8:31-32, if you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed, and you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free.

As we go through life, we encounter many new experiences. From the time we are a baby until we take our last breath, we are learning

One of the biggest obstacles to successful learning is sorting out the truth. We find out early on there is a lot of bad information out there. Whether by accident or design, bad information is the normal way of life. Call it like it is LIES!

Just going through years of problems and trying to sort out what is real or false takes its toll on many people. Most of us get so frustrated that our quality of life suffers, and we start to reject everything we hear.

It is no surprise that people do not want to hear about God. You can’t see Him, you can’t hear Him, therefore you can’t trust Him. How can you trust someone you don’t know, when you can’t trust someone, you do know?

Numbers 23: 19, God is not a man, that He should lie. Nor a son of man, that He should repent. As He said, will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?

We must realize that we cannot compare who God is, and what He can do to any man regardless of who it is. To know him and decide anything about Him we must investigate Him. The Bible is the only source of Truth in this entire world. All truth, no Fabrications.

Proverbs 14:12, there is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death.

Don’t fall into that old excuse that it was written by men. Those men were inspired by the Holy Spirit with words from God Himself. When you say it was written by men and can’t be trusted, you are calling almighty God Himself a liar.

Before you decide it’s too hard to find out, or if God does not exist, remember this one fact. God does not send people to Hell; they choose it themselves. Oh by the way, it is forever. Is your pride and stubbornness, or just plain laziness worth you and your family ending up in the wrong place? The Bible is truth, God is real, and you only need to accept Him.

Hebrews 13:8, Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

I confess all my sins and I ask you to come into my heart as my personal savior. Thank you, Lord Jesus.

Amen!

Grace

Titus 3:7, That having been justified by His grace, we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

We have all heard about God’s grace. It sounds like something good, but what is it really? According to the Hebrew word cheu one of the meanings is kindness. The other word chinnah means favor. The Greek word charis means a divine influence on the heart.

There are several Hebrew and Greek words for favor. They can be summed up by kindness, delight, and benefit given. I don’t know about anyone else but now I have a better understanding of the verses I read on grace and favor. To me it really shows God’s love to me when I understand what He is giving me.

Ephesians 1:7, in Him we have redemption through His blood the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.

If you start reading Scripture, and you run across the word grace or favor. Re-read the verses, keeping in mind what the words grace and favor really mean. To me, when I do that, it makes the verses much more powerful. It can also explain some verses. This is someone says for instance, I found a job by the grace of God, you know he is referring to the kindness of God.

Ephesians 2:8, for by Grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is a gift from God.

I don’t know about you, but the way I feel about Grace is hard to describe. It is hard for most people to believe that the grace of God is a free gift, and if accepted salvation is assured. You no longer have to worry about works, how many works, the kind of works, in order to go to Heaven. The only thing we have to do when we receive the grace of God is, realize it is an invitation to accept the Lord Jesus Christ as your one and only savior. God bless you and your family. Praise The Lord!

Remember Jesus loves you.

Prayer of Salvation.

My Lord Jesus Christ, I believe you suffered and died on the cross and rose again from the dead. I believe you did this for my salvation. I ask you to forgive all my sins, and to come into my heart as my personal savior. I believe and I receive the greatest gift anyone ever received, and that is salvation.

Amen!

Praise The Lord!
