My Time With Jesus Tuesday

Fear

Isaiah 41: 10, fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my right hand.

Fear is common in any society. There is fear of other people, violence, health issues, money problems, and too many other things to list.

The Bible mentions fear quite a few times. Why do you suppose that it seemed so important that it should be in the Bible so much? I believe it is mentioned so much because it is a tool that satan loves to use against everyone, Because it is so effective.

Philippians 4: 6, do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with Thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.

Fear can cause mental, spiritual, even physical harm to the one who accepts it. You heard it right, we have a choice about whether we should give into fear or not.

Fear creates problems that can be much worse than what we fear. You have probably heard it said that 95% of what we fear, doesn't actually happen. We can worry and be miserable for days, even weeks, suffering about something that may not happen. Even when the worst happens, many times it is not as bad as we expected.

Psalm 56: 3-4, when I am afraid, I put my trust in you. In God, whose word I Praise, in God I trust; I shall not be afraid. What can flesh do to me.

God makes promises to us that are true to ease our minds.  It comes right down to the fact that fear is trusting satan, and not believing God. Fear blocks answers to prayer.

Psalm 23:4, even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; Your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

Meditate on these verses and believe. Live in the light of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and not in the darkness brought about by satan. God Bless you and your family. Praise The Lord!

Remember Jesus loves you.

Prayer of Salvation.

My Lord Jesus Christ, I thank you and Praise you for what you did on the cross for me. By your stripes I was healed and your blood washed away my sins. Your death and resurrection made my salvation possible. I confess my sins, and I ask you to come into my heart as my personal savior. Amen!

Praise The Lord!
