The Uncertainty Of Life
Ecclesiastes 2: 11, then I looked on all the work that my hands had done, and on the labor in which I toiled. Indeed, all was vanity and grasping for the wind. There was no profit under the sun.
Do you know someone that walks in fear, and worries about everything? This type of person never seems to enjoy life, because he lives in a fantasy future. By living in a fantasy future, he's trying to somehow put what is going on in his life in the past.
Remember this, everything has an end, the good and the bad. None of us know when we will do something for the last time. I'm not talking about death. As an example, suppose you like to play golf. If you knew you would never play again, would you make the most of it and probably have a better outing?
At some point in the future, you will realize this fact. Whenever you do anything, put your whole self into it, without fear, and enjoy it, because you may never do it again. Someone once said, live each day as it is your last, because someday it will be.
There is a way to live a fulfilling life, without considering things that would have lead you astray, such as making money the priority of your life. Solomon looked at all the things he had done in his life, most of which anybody would have called a great success, but he realized how meaningless it all was. All amounted to just stuff, and stuff does not comfort you in your old age or save your soul.
To prepare for the inevitable, I have found out after many years, you have to prepare for the destination you are going to. Since we cannot know very much about where we are going, we have to trust the One who does know. That someone is our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Every morning, give your day to the Lord Jesus Christ.
Thank Him and Praise Him every day for giving you another day, and ask Him to guide you through that day with the help of the Holy Spirit to do His will and His plan. Trust in Him and He will give you peace. You may not realize it, but when you fear anything, you are putting your faith in satan. Trust in God with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. That is from proverbs 3 verse 5 but it tells the exact thing you should do.
When you accept the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior, He accepts you as a part of His family. He takes care of everything that you trust Him with. You no longer have to be in that trap that most people are in, you can beat the system.
Remember Jesus loves you.
God Bless you and your family.
Prayer Of Salvation.
My Lord Jesus Christ, I Thank you and Praise you for what you did on the cross for me. By your stripes I was healed and your blood washed away my sins. Your death and resurrection made my salvation possible. I confess my sins, and I ask you to come into my heart as my personal savior. Thank you
Amen!
Praise The Lord!
