God's Promises Sunday

The Uncertainty Of Life

Ecclesiastes 2: 11, then I looked on all the work that my hands had done, and on the labor in which I toiled. Indeed, all was vanity and grasping for the wind. There was no profit under the sun.

Do you know someone that walks in fear, and worries about everything? This type of person never seems to enjoy life, because he lives in a fantasy future. By living in a fantasy future, he's trying to somehow put what is going on in his life in the past.

Remember this, everything has an end, the good and the bad. None of us know when we will do something for the last time. I'm not talking about death. As an example, suppose you like to play golf. If you knew you would never play again, would you make the most of it and probably have a better outing?

At some point in the future, you will realize this fact. Whenever you do anything, put your whole self into it, without fear, and enjoy it, because you may never do it again. Someone once said, live each day as it is your last, because someday it will be.

There is a way to live a fulfilling life, without considering things that would have lead you astray, such as making money the priority of your life. Solomon looked at all the things he had done in his life, most of which anybody would have called a great success, but he realized how meaningless it all was. All amounted to just stuff, and stuff does not comfort you in your old age or save your soul.

To prepare for the inevitable, I have found out after many years, you have to prepare for the destination you are going to. Since we cannot know very much about where we are going, we have to trust the One who does know. That someone is our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Every morning, give your day to the Lord Jesus Christ.

Thank Him and Praise Him every day for giving you another day, and ask Him to guide you through that day with the help of the Holy Spirit to do His will and His plan. Trust in Him and He will give you peace. You may not realize it, but when you fear anything, you are putting your faith in satan. Trust in God with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. That is from proverbs 3 verse 5 but it tells the exact thing you should do.

When you accept the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior, He accepts you as a part of His family. He takes care of everything that you trust Him with. You no longer have to be in that trap that most people are in, you can beat the system.

Remember Jesus loves you.

God Bless you and your family.

Prayer Of Salvation.

My Lord Jesus Christ,  I Thank you and Praise you for what you did on the cross for me. By your stripes I was healed and your blood washed away my sins. Your death and resurrection made my salvation possible. I confess my sins, and I ask you to come into my heart as my personal savior. Thank you

Amen!

Praise The Lord!

Is your reality real

1 Corinthians 2: 14, But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

There is no need to tell you that we are going through some very hard times. Fear, stress, depression, has overcome many. Many believers in our Lord Jesus Christ, have moments of doubt.

We live in a time where words seem to have different meanings, and behaviors that were once considered unbelievably offensive are normal. Perversion, corruption, and hate are all over the place.

One reality that we are living with is, the world seems to be run by satan, and that he has an incredible number of followers on this earth. His world is full of hating God, lies, corruption, all kinds of evil. It seems that people in influential positions, are encouraging everyone to spit in God's eye. Truth and justice appear to be nonexistent. Everyone has their own version of truth.

The other reality is in God's world. It is sometimes a little hard to live by the Lord's ideals because it is spiritual. God's world is full of love, blessings, truth, and knowledge of how much God loves us and takes care of us.

When we know Jesus is our Savior, we have Heaven to look forward to. Incidentally when we look through spiritual eyes, we see what God sees. There are still many people in this world who believe and trust in God. We all receive His blessings, guidance, and help through the Holy Spirit.

1 Peter 2: 11 Beloved, I beg you as sojourners and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts which war against the soul.

The hard part and the reality Christians face is that we must constantly remind ourselves that God allows everything that is happening, because He has a plan for every person in this world. That plan must play out on earth as it has already played out in heaven. God Bless you and your family. Praise The Lord!

Remember Jesus loves you.

My Time With Jesus Tuesday

World of choices

Romans 8: 6-8, for to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is at enmity against God, for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

Life is like a game. In this game, each player is on his own. Most people don't even realize what the prize is, or what the value is.

If you play football for example, or you play chess, sooner or later you realize it is almost impossible to win if you are on the defense all the time. Winners attack, attack, attack.

As the average person goes through his day, whether he realizes it or not he is reacting to circumstances that surround him. He is constantly playing defense in a world that is increasingly aggressive.

I found out when I was very young, that if you follow everyone else, you'll end up like they are. If you choose the right people, you can learn a lot and make choices that will give you a good life. The big problem for most people is doing the wrong thing is easy, the right thing is very hard most of the time.

God gave us a free will for us to make our own choices. Here is a very important one for instance. Most of the world hates and rejects Jesus. No one ever says why though. A good thing to do is investigate God. Read about Him, talk to Him, and talk to those who know Him.

Have the courage to get the truth, then make your choice. Almighty God gave that right to you. Lead, and don't follow others who don't know where they are going, or what they are doing, or where they will end up.

John 15: 16, you did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.

God Bless you and your family.

Remember Jesus loves you.

Thank You

Amen!

God's Promises Sunday

The Bible Is The Key

2 Timothy 3: 16-17, all scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction and righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

Many people avoid the Bible, for as many reasons as there are people. This is really unfortunate, because they don't have a clue as to what they are missing. The same people who say they have no time, spend plenty of time pursuing things that have no value to them, and do not improve their lives.

The Bible is difficult for many people to understand, because they have an old version like the King James. There are so many translations out today, that are so simple, that a child can literally understand what it is saying. They are written in plain everyday English that we all use. A couple of examples are the Amplified Bible, the message, the NLT version.

After spending many years in a lifetime without direction, many people finally come to the Bible. With even a little bit of effort it will change your life for the better. The amazing thing about God and His love for us, is the fact that it is never too late with Him.

Whether you are young or old, the Bible will change your life. It is packed with the wisdom of God, for a great life. Study the words, starting with proverbs, or Ecclesiastes. Follow the principles outlined, and your life will turn for the best that God has to offer.

By reading the word of God, you find out what His plan is for your life and what He expects out of you. It sure beats all the so-called self-help books, written by so-called experts. The Bible is the ultimate self-help book, written by God Himself. Invest the time, live it, reap the rewards,

One final thought. Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, through the power of the Holy Spirit, is waiting and ready to guide anyone who chooses Him, to give them a fulfilled life, and an eternity in Heaven with Him. The cost to you is a little time every day. Before you decide you have no time, take a look at how many hours in the day He gives to you. Is a little bit of your time too much to give back to him?

God Bless you and your family. Praise The Lord!

Remember Jesus loves you.

Thant You

Stopping God

John 14: 26, but the helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My Name, He will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.

You may think it is ridiculous to think you can stop God. As crazy as it sounds, it is true. I will explain.

For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.

The Holy Spirit was sent to us by Almighty God to fill a promise made by our Lord Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit is a priceless helper, as well as a guide to God's will, and an intercessor in prayer for us. He will help us and guide us with anything connected with God's will.

1 John 3: 24, whoever keeps His commandments abides in God, and God in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us.

When I call the Holy Spirit a guide, He is our guide to eternity with God. He helps us to understand the Bible and leads us into following God's plan for us. Everything the Holy Spirit does in our lives, is because Almighty God wanted it that way from the time before we were even born.

Ephesians 4: 30, and do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.

1 Thessalonians 5:19, Do not quench the spirit.

When we do not follow God's plan for us, we are stopping Almighty God from working in our lives. Remember we have free will, so we go against God's will at our peril. I guess I do not need to remind anybody, that those who do not follow our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, are in fact going against God and following satan. God Bless you and your Family.

Praise The Lord!

My Time With Jesus Tuesday

Fear

Isaiah 41: 10, fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my right hand.

Fear is common in any society. There is fear of other people, violence, health issues, money problems, and too many other things to list.

The Bible mentions fear quite a few times. Why do you suppose that it seemed so important that it should be in the Bible so much? I believe it is mentioned so much because it is a tool that satan loves to use against everyone, Because it is so effective.

Philippians 4: 6, do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with Thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.

Fear can cause mental, spiritual, even physical harm to the one who accepts it. You heard it right, we have a choice about whether we should give into fear or not.

Fear creates problems that can be much worse than what we fear. You have probably heard it said that 95% of what we fear, doesn't actually happen. We can worry and be miserable for days, even weeks, suffering about something that may not happen. Even when the worst happens, many times it is not as bad as we expected.

Psalm 56: 3-4, when I am afraid, I put my trust in you. In God, whose word I Praise, in God I trust; I shall not be afraid. What can flesh do to me.

God makes promises to us that are true to ease our minds.  It comes right down to the fact that fear is trusting satan, and not believing God. Fear blocks answers to prayer.

Psalm 23:4, even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; Your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

Meditate on these verses and believe. Live in the light of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and not in the darkness brought about by satan. God Bless you and your family. Praise The Lord!

Remember Jesus loves you.

Prayer of Salvation.

God's Promises Sunday

Go For It

Psalm 118:24, This is the day that the Lord has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it

Many people have a dream about doing something in the future, like retiring to Florida. Others have what they call a bucket list.

In case you are not familiar with the term bucket list, it is a list of things someone wants to do before they die. Most of these people take it seriously.

There are some things to consider, however. The biggest one is that we don't know when we will die. If we can't start now for some reason, it might suck the happiness out of our lives.

Then you have the fact that we don't know the future. Will our health still be good? Can we afford it when the time comes? The situations with society. Is it a part of the Lord's plan for you? So, what's the answer?

James 1: 5, if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.

A few things to consider. When you get up in the morning, commit yourself and the day to the Lord. Thank Him for the day. Tell Him, if it is your will today, I would like to, and then whatever your request is that you want to do that day.

Another thing is that you must keep in mind every person will have a last day on earth. Tomorrow may be yours. Get the most out of this day. Don't give up today living in a future that may not exist. Remember that if God wills it, you will have what you pray for. God Bless you and your family.

Isaiah 40: 31, but they who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles; They shall run and not be weary; They shall walk and not faint.

God Bless you and your family. Praise The Lord!

Remember Jesus Loves you.
