Matthew 4: 4, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.
Romans 10: 17, so then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
I start this message because I still find many people who do not read the Bible for various reasons. That is something between them and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
If you look at these two verses you get the idea from the word of God that we need spiritual bread which is the word of God, and we not only need to read it we need to hear it.
It really isn't difficult with the tools available to us these days because we have a real advantage with the Internet. It really is a big help compared to what most of us grew up with years ago.
When I started my journey searching for the Lord, I walked into a Christian bookstore, and I told the person there that I was totally ignorant of what the Bible said and that could they recommend a Bible that was easier to understand. At that time, it was the amplified version.
Now you can check anything that you don't know about by simply entering it in a Google search box. As you go through life, you'll find that there are many obstacles that you run into, and many things that seem very hopeless.
If you are a person that has spent a reasonable amount of time with the word of God, and looked for answers you’ll get to the point where your faith grows to where it can really benefit you.
1 Peter 5: 7, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.
This verse is a perfect example about faith and how it can benefit you beyond your wildest imagination and allow you to conquer any problem through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit.
Casting your cares on Him means exactly what it says. If you are having a problem that you cannot seem to figure out, count on your faith in our Lord, talk to Him, and turn the problem over to Him believing it is taken care of. Then just forget about it and wait for it to manifest in your life.
We can go on with many examples similar to this. But the fact remains without knowing our Lord, we cannot get to the point where we have faith that will not only bring us Salvation through Christ, but our life will be guided by Him. God Bless you and your family. Praise The Lord!
Remember Jesus loves you.
Prayer of Salvation.
My Lord Jesus Christ, I Thank you and Praise you for what you did on the cross for me. By your stripes I was healed and your blood washed away my sins. Your death and resurrection made my salvation possible. I confess my sins, and I ask you to come into my heart as my personal savior. Thank you Lord
Amen!
Praise The Lord!
