Understanding Jesus Love

Romans 5:8, but God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

If you are wondering about how to find or understand about Jesus’ love for you, or why you should love Him, it is not that difficult. Most Bibles have a concordance in the back of the Bible.

A concordance lists the subject and tells you where all the verses are in the Bible connected with that subject. The best thing to do is to take a word in concordance and make up your mind to look up at least one verse every day. When you look up that verse write it down, say it out loud, then meditate on it for 15 or 20 minutes.

When you put in words like Jesus, love, you will have quite a list of verses to look at. If you make it a regular habit, and meditate on it at least one verse a day, you will soon find yourself remembering verses, and a picture will start to form in your mind.

Then start to read the Bible, one chapter at a time, and highlight the verses that kind of strike you. When you finish the chapter start meditating on the verses that popped out at you. They don’t all have to be in one day, just take one or two a day like you did before.

As you are reading the word, and doing your meditations, you’ll find yourself slowly developing a relationship with Jesus. Your faith will increase as you read His words and understand what they mean. It seems when you make an honest effort to understand the word, the Holy Spirit comes into the picture and speaks to your heart.

As you accept Jesus as your savior, you will find yourself doing and saying things that you have never done before. As time goes on you will find your faith has reached the point where you are so excited that you want to tell everybody.

This whole approach may seem awful simplistic, but it works if you are sincere. Just get it out of your head that the Bible is hard to understand. Get a good study Bible, and the Holy Spirit will reveal the truth to you, and you will understand. God bless you and your family. Praise The Lord!

TiTus 3:4-5, but when the kindness and the love of God our savior toward man appeared, not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his Mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit.

Remember Jesus loves you.

Prayer of Salvation.

My Lord Jesus Christ, I thank you and Praise you for what you did on the cross for me. By your stripes I was healed and by your blood my sins were washed away. By your death and resurrection, you made my salvation possible. I confess my sins, and I ask you to come into my heart as my personal savior. Amen!

Praise The Lord!

My Time With Jesus Tuesday

Let God

Romans 12:2, do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Sometimes people get a little confused when they pray about something that they want. They’re not sure what to pray. Should it be something like, Lord if it is your will, or should it be just what you want. We have heard a lot of things about how faith works

One of the things I have read recently puts it all in a nutshell. Instead of bringing our problems to God, bring God to our problems. This is what speaking to the mountain is in my own opinion. I have read enough and listened to enough preachers to believe that you must speak to your problem and believe.

When Jesus was on this Earth and prayed, He spoke the result not the problem. I think that’s a pretty good example for us. Jesus told the apostles they will do greater works than He did. I believe that is exactly what He meant. He wasn’t just talking when He told us that whatever we asked the Father in His name He will do if we believe.

So now we get to the part about prayers. When we pray to the Lord, we go to Him and remind Him of scriptures that fit our requests. Other times we just command the problem in Jesus’ name and believe. This would apply in a case such as praying for someone to be healed, or even in some cases that a person finds the Lord Jesus Christ and to be saved.

1 John 3:20, For if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart and knows all things.

Maybe confusion comes from the fact that we’re not sure whether we should command the problem in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, or ask Him to handle it. I think the best answer to that is what the little voice in your heart is telling you.

As I have said many times in the past, the answers to our prayers are not always what we expect. Remember that because God loves you so much it is for your own benefit whether it appears to you as you expect or the way He answers. You can count on the fact that whatever the answer is it will be best for you.

When we pray we absolutely have to put everything in His hands. Worrying about it is a sin. Fear is a tool of the devil, and any doubt, worry, or things of that nature including putting in your own two cents, will delay or block the answer. Trust in Him to do what is best for you. Believe with your heart and forget about it.

Above all remember that patience is required in every case, and that no prayer from a sincere heart ever goes on unanswered. So just Praise the Lord and know that your answer is on the way. When Jesus Christ Our Lord died on the cross, He took care of everything we will ever need in our lives including salvation. All we have to do is claim it, in His name. God Bless you and your family. Praise The Lord!

Remember Jesus loves you.

Prayer of Salvation.

My Lord Jesus Christ, I thank you and Praise you for what you did on the cross for me. By your stripes I was healed and your blood washed away my sins. Your death and Resurrection made my salvation possible. I confess my sins, and I ask you to come into my heart as my personal savior. Amen!

Praise The Lord!

God's Promises Sunday

Where Is God ??

Joshua 1:9, Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.

If you look around, it is very easy to feel less than positive about the whole world. If you are like most people, the news is downright depressing. It seems that as things get worse, so do people.

When someone is killed on the street or anywhere for that matter, you hear people say, how could God allow that? The news tells you about terrorists blowing up a bus with many people on it, and the question is where is God? As all of this is going on did you ever hear someone say how does the devil come up with such carnage, or why did satan do that? No matter how disgusting something gets no one blames satan. If people get sick, have an accident, whatever, they blame God, not satan.

Numbers 23:19, God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent. As He said, will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?

It seems people get a little confused at times. When you look at the very people that are doing all the dreadful things in this world, they are in fact exercising their own freedom of choice. God would not be God if He didn’t allow you to make a choice as He promised.

Well, some people eventually do come to realize that God is still there and they do make that choice. God is always waiting for us, but He will not force us. Back to the question, where is God? Take an honest look at that.

This country was founded on biblical principles. Our government recognized the need for God in running the country and making laws. For 100 or so years we followed that idea. The country was blessed.

When you look back you can see that 50 or 60 years ago, it looked like America was beginning to slide. People started slipping away from God and the Bible, little by little. It didn’t take long for those ideas to grow, and they kept growing. Whether we were getting too sophisticated for God, or started replacing Him with stuff, or a combination of things, it started.

We somehow started to follow a new God. That God was called political correctness, and with it came abortion, homosexual marriage, gender re-assignment, and all kinds of things. God was totally taken out of just about everything. It started even in the government buildings, including schools, and the list goes on. People that say they don’t believe in God and go out of their way to remove Him from sight. If they don’t believe, why do they care?

It seems people spend plenty of time reading the Bible to see what ever angers God the most, and then passing a law or doing whatever it takes to violate that part of the Bible. Add to this the fact that God is absent from most homes because traditional values are no longer there.

Where is God? Our laws, political correctness, and people under the influence of satan, took Him entirely out of the picture. So, if we do not know where God is, we need to look where we left Him. He did not take Himself out of our lives, we took Him out of our lives and are paying the price.

John 3:16, For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

God bless you and your family.

Remember Jesus loves you.

Prayer of Salvation.

My Lord Jesus Christ, I thank you and Praise you for what you did on the cross for me. By your stripes I was healed, and your blood washed away my sins. Your death and resurrection made my salvation possible. I confess my sins, and I ask you to come into my heart as my personal savior. Thank you, My Lord Jesus Christ. Amen!

Praise The Lord!

No Condemnation

1 John 4:4, you are of God little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.

One of the most effective tools that the devil has is condemnation. He goes after Believers and those who are getting close to Salvation. He tries to deceive everyone, because that is what he is good at. It comes in a number of ways, but we will look at the most common.

He will work on giving you or your loved ones as many problems as he can. You may get the flu, your car breaks down, and anything that he feels will make you feel sorry for yourself. If you buy his deceit, he will surely keep adding to it. He knows if you feel sorry for yourself, because he planned it that way, to get you to start blaming God. He is Relentless, so don’t fall for it.

Along with giving you problems, he will also try to plant condemnation in your mind. He will tell you things like, God is punishing you because of something you did. He can come up with condemnation all day long. The more you fall for it and accept it the more he does it. He wants you to feel so frustrated and condemned about yourself that you turn away from God.

The next step is deceit. He will tell you you’re a hypocrite. If you really love God, you would not have done all the terrible things you did. How can God possibly love you, or how could someone like you ever get to Heaven?

Sounds pretty hopeless right? Not so. Remember by Grace we are saved, and not by works, lest a man should boast. You do not have to accept anything the devil throws at you. Your love for God Is not a feeling. If you are saved, your spirit loves God and is one with Him. Your brain is the problem. So, you have to work on your brain.

During the day, as many times as you can think of it, just say Jesus help me. Jesus delivered you from all sin and from condemnation for all time. Even if you don’t feel it, believe it. If you read the following verse every day and believe, your brain will soon get the idea.

James 4:7, and therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

Remember this important fact even though you may find it difficult to believe at first. The devil can only do to you what you allow him to do. With God on your side and the Holy Spirit to back it up, satan has no power over you. God bless you and your family. Praise The Lord!

Remember Jesus loves you

Prayer of Salvation.

My Lord Jesus Christ, I thank you and Praise you for what you did on the cross for me. By your stripes I was healed. Your blood washed away my sins. Your death and resurrection made my salvation possible. I confess all my sins, and I ask you to come into my heart as my personal savior. Amen!

My Time With Jesus Tuesday

Keep The Faith

Psalms 9:9-10, the Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed. A refuge in times of trouble. And those who know Your name will put their trust in You. For You, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You.

You don’t have to try very hard to hear about all the terrible things going on in the world. Even if you can mentally eliminate most of the sensationalism that is used to report the news, it is still pretty grim. I won’t go into a big rehash of what you have already heard on the news, but I’ll briefly mention a few things as they relate to this message.

Look at the world situation. It seems all you hear or see is about war, terrorism, famine, natural disasters, as well as man-made disasters. It seems there is unrest in most of the world. The world economy is a disaster. People are suffering physically, mentally, and spiritually.

Look at our country. There is plenty to get concerned about. Mass murderers, serial killers, violence as a way of life to some people. We have elected officials that do not do what they were elected to do. Throw in a shaky economy, and high unemployment and it looks pretty hopeless.

Since Adam and Eve, this world has been run by satan. All you have to do is look around and you can see his influence everywhere. He hates God, and he especially hates man. He wants to make things so bad that man will curse God. He also makes illicit pleasure the highest priority for many people. Influences people to eliminate God from daily life. He wants everyone he can get a hold of, to worry, be miserable, afraid, and blame God.

satan also guides the world and every evil he could think of that goes against God’s word. People are obsessed with things like abortion, drugs, sex, lust, blaspheming the Lord Jesus Christ himself.

There is a good part to this whole story though. As Believers we have the word of God or as it was called the good news. It is a Guide to Life and Salvation.

Psalms 145:18-20, The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth. He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him; He also will hear their cry and save them, the Lord preserves all who love Him, but all the wicked He will destroy.

If you read the Bible, especially the Book of Revelations, you will see how everything turns out. When you read a novel and jump to the end to see how it all turns out so you can feel better, the Bible will make you feel better. Put your trust in the Lord, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. God bless you and your family. Praise The Lord!

Remember Jesus loves you.

Prayer of Salvation.

My Lord Jesus Christ, I thank you and Praise you for what you did on the cross for me. By your stripes I was healed, and your blood washed away my sins. Your death and Resurrection made my salvation possible. I confess my sins, and I ask you to come into my heart as my personal savior. Thank you, My Lord Jesus. Amen!

God's Promises Sunday

The Big Question

Matthew 7:21 Not everyone who says to me, Lord, Lord, shall enter the Kingdom of Heaven, but he who does the will of my Father in Heaven.

Being saved is a heart thing. Knowing God exists is not enough. Even satan knows God exists.

When you read the verse in Matthew 7:21, does it make you wonder where you stand with almighty God? If you haven’t figured it out yet, now would be a good time, because no one knows when the end is coming.

Galatians 5: 22-23, and the fruits of the spirit is love, Joy, piece, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.

When we are saved, we not only receive the Lord as our savior, but we also receive the Holy Spirit, and what are called the fruits of the spirit. These fruits give us an example of how a Believer should act. Salvation changes us. We must examine ourselves to determine if we are indeed changed in our hearts. Galatian 5:22-23 are the fruits.

If you are still living the old sinful life, you really must examine if you really are saved. You must realize that the Lord Jesus Christ died and rose again to save us.

2 Corinthians 5:17, therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; all things have passed away, all things have become new.

Ephesians 2:10, for we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

There are many people who call themselves Christians who do not live as Christians. You cannot have a new life in Jesus Christ, if you follow satan and the world. Salvation is a gift to all, but many people choose to reject it. It could be on purpose, or by ignorance.

The last three verses give you an example and guidance in how we should live. Put your life in the care and guidance of the Holy Spirit. Talk to Him and ask for His help to find the way.

Sometimes it isn’t easy to trust God’s word completely but do it anyway. Nothing is as important as your Immortal soul. If you talk to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, you will be guided to the right path. God bless you and your family. Praise The Lord!

Remember Jesus loves you.

Prayer of Salvation.

My Lord Jesus Christ, I thank you and Praise you for what you did on the cross for me. By your stripes I was healed and your blood washed away all my sins. Your death and Resurrection made my salvation possible. I confess all my sins, and I ask you to come into my heart as my personal savior. Amen!

Confronting satan

James 4:7, therefore, submit to God, resist the devil and he will flee from you.

Many people are so afraid of satan that they are almost afraid to do anything. Don’t get me wrong he is not to be taken lightly, but he can be dealt with in Jesus’ name. At this point I’d like to make some things clear in your mind. Several well-respected teachers share these thoughts. It is a fact that satan will try every trick he knows to get you to do what you know is wrong. Rebuking him or casting him out would get him to leave but you must know what the Bible says about that. One of the most powerful weapons we have is quoting scripture.

One of the things satan likes to do is put sinful thoughts in your mind. There are many times he actually put bad thoughts, in someone’s mind while they were praying. Then he has the nerve to tell that person that they are a sinner and God will punish them.

As far as thoughts in your mind that are passing through, everyone has them. You are not guilty of a passing thought unless you act on that thought. You cannot stop anything from popping into your head at any time, just say to satan it’s not your thoughts it’s his. If you are a believer most or even all of these thoughts at times are not sins. satan can only do to you what you allow him to do. God has given you weapons to defeat satan every time. Jesus’ name and the armor of God will defeat the most powerful demons in hell

Matthew 4:10, Jesus said to him, away with you satan! For it is written you shall Worship the Lord your God and him Only You Shall Serve.

The Lord Jesus said that to satan and that was the end of satan’s attempt at that time. At any time we can remind satan of that little thing by quoting that scripture.

You cannot defeat satan on your own. Many people try to chase satan every couple of minutes by running around in a panic. Remember that standing on the word of God is the only way to get satan out of the situation you find yourself in. Think of it this way when you see a parent constantly screaming at their child, the child ignores what they say, and will do it again and again just to get attention. The best thing to do is just ignore him. Picture satan as that child.

If you do not recognize satan’s presence, you really hurt his pride. His problem stems from his oversized ego and believing he is like God. It probably makes him nuts when he is ignored. He has no control over someone that doesn’t pay any attention to him. If you are being attacked you’ve got to concentrate on the word of God and he has absolutely no power over you

Remember this simple fact. Most of the things you beat yourself up for, are things satan condemns you for. He is trying to deceive you into thinking it’s a sin. Just remember the mighty name of Jesus and His presence in your heart along with the Holy Spirit is the answer to everything whether it’s satan or any other problems. God bless you and your family. Praise The Lord!

Remember Jesus Loves you.

Prayer of Salvation.

My Lord Jesus Christ, I thank you and Praise you for what you did on the cross to make my salvation possible. By your stripes I was healed, and your blood washed away all my sins. I Repent of all my sins, and I ask you to come into my heart as my personal savior. Amen!

Praise The Lord!

My Time With Jesus Tuesday

Access To God

Ephesians 2:13, now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.

Many people will find fault with that verse and find it hard to believe. Other people will be comforted because they already know. The fact is we all have access to God.

God loves everyone and wants each and every person to spend eternity with Him. We are His children, so He is everyone’s God, and He makes it pretty plain that is how it is. It is all in His word. Even if we aren’t saved yet, because He loves us so much all we have to do is call on Him and believe in what Jesus accomplished on the cross, accept Jesus as our personal savior and repent of our sins.

Ephesians 3:12, in whom we have boldness and access with confidence through faith in Him.

The really big thing we must always remember about God, is that His love for us is unconditional. His Kind of Love is as far from Human love as East is from West. He never turned anyone away no matter what they have done, if they come to Him with a sincere heart.

We must all understand that He is our Father as well as our creator. We can go to Him as easily as you can imagine. When we were born again, He came to live in our hearts. He is as far from you as your heart. You can speak to God as you would your closest friend.

What the Lord wants from you and me is our love and faith in Him and that we love others. He knows we’ll sin again, no matter how hard we try not to. If we go to Him and acknowledge our sins, we will find that they are already forgiven because of what Jesus did on the cross. His blood washed away all our sins.

Trying to describe God’s love for us doesn’t work. Our words won’t do it. I believe we won’t really know the fullness of His love until we join Him in Heaven. If you want the best possible life on Earth, and Eternity with Him, we must be saved. Say the Prayer of Salvation out loud with a sincere heart. Then you will be a joint Heir with Jesus, and have the most loving father ever.

One thing I must remind you at this point. We cannot look at God and what the Bible says, with natural eyes. We must see  spiritually with our hearts, and He will show it to you if you ask. God bless you and your family. Praise The Lord!

Remember Jesus Loves you.

Prayer Of Salvation.

My Lord Jesus Christ, I believe you died on the cross and rose again to make my salvation possible. By your stripes I was healed, and your blood washed away all my sins. I Repent of all my sins, and I ask you to come into my heart as my personal savior. I want to serve only you. Amen!

God's Promises Sunday

Compassion

Romans 12:15, Rejoice with those who Rejoice, and weep with those who weep.

Galatians 6:2, bear one another’s burdens and so fulfill the law of Christ.

Hebrew and Greek words for compassion define it as, have pity on, to deal gently with sympathy. How does Jesus feel about it? The Bible has a good deal to say about the subject.

We see people every day that to the carnal mind do not measure up to our standards. We need to start looking at people with spiritual eyes in this day and age and not carnal eyes. It is very easy to judge people. Anytime you drive you will find someone who’s not courteous, or he looks for change when he stops in a toll booth. The list goes on, healthy looking young people park in handicap spots. People leave grocery carts blocking parking spaces

We can name dozens of irritants we run into every day. The fact is they are irritants, not a matter of life and death. Unfortunately, you encounter this kind of stuff all the time.

The average person starts to judge and condemn everyone. The Bible says we are to have compassion. We don’t know what is behind anything that people do. As a matter of fact, it isn’t our business anyway. We didn’t create these people, so we cannot judge them. They may be ignorant, or maybe just don’t care, or maybe they’re troubled in some way. Just bless them and move on.

Proverbs 19:17, he who has pity on the poor lends to Lord, and He will pay back what he has given.

About a half a dozen times in my life I’ve been approached by people in parking lots of stores, and a couple of times at gas stations. They all had stories and needed money. I didn’t know if their stories were legitimate or not, so I helped each of them, whether they needed five or 20. I was led by the spirit to do this. After they left, I thought that if they were legitimate or not was between them and God. Do it for him.

You never know who really needs help. A good percentage of people are not working and aren’t able to help for one reason or another. We don’t know, and even if we did, let The Holy Spirit be your guide.

Some people are led by the devil and don’t even know it. A lot of them were brought up that way and don’t know how to be different. I believe if you helped 10 people and only one is in need, it’s better than denying all 10. You are following the Lord’s way, and He will reward you.

In any case bless them all with a clean heart and you are blessing yourself. Just remember the Lord has compassion on all of us, so we should have compassion on others. God bless you and your family. Praise The Lord!

Remember Jesus loves you.

Prayer of Salvation.

My Lord Jesus Christ, I thank you and Praise you for what you did on the cross for me. By your stripes I was healed, your blood washed away all my sins, and my salvation was made possible. I Repent of all my sins, and I ask you to come into my heart as my personal savior. I want to serve only you.

The Providence Of God

Proverbs 16:9, A mans heart plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps.

Some people have the opinion that God has too much control of everything in our lives. People that feel that way are usually not believers, so they really don’t know any better. The rest probably didn’t take the time to find out what they are missing.

I know I did things my way for quite a few years. I was too ignorant at that time to see what was really happening. I thought I did well under the circumstances, but I guess I didn’t realize how good things could be. Looking back at all the costly mistakes and unhappiness, I wonder why it took me so long to catch on.

The first thing you must know is that God can change circumstances, we can’t. God works in the spiritual world where all the power is. When you make the Lord your source, you also get the Holy Spirit who is the power source.

If you are saved, what I will describe will work for you, or some variation of it that God and you figure out. You may get in the way occasionally, but you soon realize that if you don’t get out of the way and let God do it, it won’t happen. So don’t be discouraged if you miss a little occasionally. Just look at the Lord and pull yourself up and start all over again.

God is the planner, the Holy Spirit is guide and teacher, and we are the tool in the natural world. God arranges people, places, things, and timing. When all is ready, He will let you know, then you and the Holy Spirit can start the next phase. Have patience and trust in the Lord.

Another benefit of doing all this is, your faith and trust in God will grow, and so will your blessing’s. It will become much easier to pray for something and see God working in your life. I don’t want to leave you with the impression that if you follow this there will not be problems, because there will be. Problems and tests are a way of life but remember whose team you are on. Read the word and you will see, we win!

Proverbs 16:3, commit your Works to the Lord and your thoughts will be established.

The thing you always must keep in mind is that God’s provision is Limitless and He is waiting to bless you with more than you can imagine. In time if you work at it, you will realize it’s not that difficult. Believing in the Lord and trusting in Him with everything in your life will become as natural as breathing. God bless you and your family. Praise The Lord!

Remember Jesus loves you.

Prayer of Salvation.

My Lord Jesus Christ, I believe you suffered and died on the cross to make my salvation possible. By your stripes I was healed and your blood washed away all my sins. I Repent of all of my sins, and I ask you to come into my heart as my personal savior. I want to serve only you. Thank you My Lord Jesus for coming into my life. Amen!

My Time With Jesus Tuesday

Last Chance

2 Peter 3:3-4, Knowing this first; that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts, and saying, where is the promise of his coming? For since the father fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation.

It is a fact that people have scoffed at what the Bible says before it was ever written. They do not want to accept the fact that they will be accountable for their actions.

Matthew 24:42, Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming.

Matthew 24:44, Therefore you also be ready for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.

Mark 13:32-33, but of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. Take heed, watch and pray, for you do not know when the time is.

When you consider what these verses are saying, you start to see that every minute we live could be the minute that begins our eternity. Don’t forget that at the moment the Lord Jesus Christ comes, it is too late to repent.

You may be wondering if we will have any warning of the coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Fortunately, there are signs.

2 Timothy 3:1-5, But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: for men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, on brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God. Having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!

There is no specific date of His coming, the Bible tells us the season. The Book of Revelation tells the entire story. No one can afford to ignore the word of almighty God, because He is not like people. He will not tolerate any kind of sin, even the smallest sin in our eyes.

Almighty God even tells us what He consider sin. The Holy Spirit will help and guide us in the way we should go. Everything we need to know is in the Bible.

God does not send anyone to hell as most people think. The fact is, if we end up in Hell, it’s because we chose it by our actions. Believe what the Bible says. One last thing. Call on the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Repent, and you will be saved. God bless you and your family.

Praise The Lord!

Remember Jesus loves you.

Prayer of Salvation.

My Lord Jesus Christ, I believe you suffered and died on the cross and rose again from the dead. I believe that by your stripes I was healed, and by your blood my sins were washed away. I Repent of my sins and I ask you to come into my heart as my personal savior. I thank you and Praise you, Lord Jesus. Amen!

God's Promises Sunday

Spiritual Eyes

1 Corinthians 6:19, Do you not know that your body is the Temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?

As human beings, we function in a dysfunctional world. We tend to go along with the crowd. Many people only believe what they can see with their own two eyes. The funny part about this idea of seeing with your own two eyes is you can see, but many cannot discern what is really happening.

Many people do not believe in the Bible. One of the biggest reasons is they don’t believe in God. Those who claim to believe in God tend to be skeptical of what the word says. Unfortunately, people nitpick everything that they do read and compare it to what our Lord can do.

The first thing we have to realize is that if a person is saved, they received the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit was sent by God our Father to be a helper to us, to guide us, in the ways of the Lord.

If we ask the Holy Spirit to help us understand the written word of God, He will do it. At this point we must believe that the word of God is true. The Holy Spirit even helps us with that.

Acts 1:8, but you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, unto the end of the Earth.

If we are to be witnesses, we must believe what we are talking about. The first thing we must do, is to put aside the normal beliefs people have, about the Bible. We must believe that every word in the Bible is the written word of God and is therefore true.

If we constantly rely on the guidance of the Holy Spirit, He will show us the truth of that last statement. And we will also find out that we have power through the Holy Spirit to pray to Our Father God with extremely powerful prayers.

Romans 8:26, Likewise the Spirit also helps us in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

If we ask the Holy Spirit to help us read the Bible, He will gradually show us what seems impossible to other people. God is Almighty, and all powerful. and the creator of the universe. When you look at the world around you, your spiritual eyes, which comes from the Holy Spirit will convince you that the world you see is a creation from the Lord God.

Hundreds of prophecies have been fulfilled and not one has not come true. It stands to reason that the prophecies that are left in the Bible including ones we read in the Book of Revelation, will also come true.

Believe it or not, as you read the Bible, the Holy Spirit will paint a picture in your mind and your heart of what the Bible is telling you. What you would experience then, seeing with spiritual eyes and not human eyes. God bless you and your family.  Praise The Lord!

Remember Jesus loves you.

Prayer of Salvation.

My Lord Jesus Christ, I believe you died on the cross and rose again. By your stripes I was healed, your blood washed away all my sins. I Repent of all my sins, and I ask you to come into my heart as my personal savior. I receive my salvation because of what the Lord Jesus Christ did on the cross. Amen!

Praise The Lord!

Never Lost

Hebrews 13:5, let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, I will never leave you nor forsake you.

The message today is based on a real-life example of something the Lord Jesus said. A few days ago, my wife and I were leaving Canada after a short visit with our son. We were leaving Sue Saint Marie Ontario at 6 a.m, On a very dark rainy day.

I turned on the GPS but it didn’t work. We drove to a gas station and tried again; it still didn’t work. We knew the International Bridge was somewhere around the area, so we explored the area trusting in the Lord.

As we drove around, we saw a sign pointing to the Border. In all there were five different signs that led us to the bridge back to the USA and home.

Philippians 4: 6-7, be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with Thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and Minds through Christ Jesus.

The GPS started working. When we were about 10 miles into the U.S, the GPS gave us a message to exit. It was wrong. Rainy, dark, and an unfamiliar location gave us the idea that we might be lost.

I just started to drive in the direction of Home, and I ignored the GPS continual instructions. After a while GPS decided, we were going the right way.

Through most of the trip GPS tried to lead us in the wrong direction. It recalculated its little heart out, so I just shut it off. While all of this was going on, we continued to talk to the Lord

After we got home, my wife and I talked about the trip home and a number of things came to us that we didn’t think of at the time, but we knew.

The Lord Jesus Christ Our Savior is never lost. Since He is in us and never lost, common sense would tell you that we aren’t lost either. He shows us the way no matter what is bothering us.

This story is much longer, but I think you get the idea. Through all of this we asked the Lord for help and things just happened for our good.

When you go through life, there are many things you cannot count on. Money, position, and anything else you can name. The reason I am sure all of these distractions were from satan is, he cannot stand when we trust in the Lord and he never stops trying to get us to change our minds. Its no secret my friends that GPS, and any other man-made contrivance if flawed.

GPS is supposed to navigate you to a specific destination. The Bible leads you to your ultimate destination, helping you to avoid or overcome things that will keep you from finishing your journey.

The moral of the story is at least to us, is you will not get thrown off course if you follow our creators’ instructions, the Bible. satan can only put thoughts in your head to make you afraid or to worry, but the truth is you don’t have to accept what he’s telling you. Ask yourself why it is so easy to listen to satan, and not to the Lord God Almighty. I think that’s a question we should all ask ourselves. God bless you and your family. Praise The Lord!

Remember Jesus loves you.

My Lord Jesus Christ, I believe you died on the cross and rose again for me. By your stripes I was healed, and your blood washed away all my sins. My Time With Jesus Tuesday

Believe As A Child

Matthew 18:3, Truly I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the Kingdom of Heaven.

I think you’ll agree that this verse is powerful. But what does it mean? Let me give you some examples.

When we are a little child, we believe absolutely everything we are told, because we don’t know about lies. When we start going to church with our parents, we find that many religions concentrate on rituals and traditions and spend very little time with the Bible. That is unfortunate as I later found out in life. When I was growing up, in my church they read a couple of verses on Sunday and almost no teaching. Even as a very young person I thought there should be more to it than that.

Some people grow up that way and stay that way their whole life. They never suspect their strongly held beliefs may not get them to Heaven. Either they don’t read the Bible because they think they’re getting everything they need at church, or in some cases they just don’t know any better or are lazy.

Then of course you have those that accepted God’s call and we’re born again. Unfortunately, there’s a large percentage of this group that doesn’t read the Bible either, because they don’t feel they need to because they are saved. I suspect there’s a certain amount of laziness there too.

When you read the Bible, you are reading the word of God. He does not lie. Relax when you read the Bible, it is not a regular book, so don’t read it like one. Study it, think about what you are reading. One of the easiest versions of the bible, the ESV version. Don’t analyze every word to pieces or try to find mistakes. If you really study, after a while you’ll have very few legitimate questions because the questions you had were answered.

One of the big things when you’re reading the Bible, in believing what the word says, remember this important fact. God is not like us, so nothing is impossible with Him. Just because we can’t do something does not mean that He can’t do something. Just believe, your Immortal soul is at stake.

When you became an adult, you probably realized that you had quite a few years of lies and deceitful practices behind you. You must make up your mind when it comes to the word of God, just believe it, and don’t fight it,  it will all become clear. The more effort you put in, the faster it will happen.

The Bible is the key to a blessed life. How would you know about the love and blessings and just plain Joy you can have in your life, if you didn’t read it and know about it. Your spirit believes every word that is written, and your soul follows. Everything at that point depends on your brain for fulfillment. It must use faith-filled words and believe. Whatever you say and believe in Jesus’ name will be yours.

The Bible is a plan. If you follow a plan to build something and do it exactly, you will succeed, get the picture? Just believe. Talk to the Holy Spirit about it, and you may be surprised. He does help, so listen to His little voice in your heart. God bless you and your family. Praise The Lord!

Remember Jesus loves you.

Prayer of Salvation.

My Lord Jesus Christ, I believe you died on the cross and rose from the dead to make my salvation possible. By your stripes I was healed and your blood washed away all my sins. I Repent of all my sins, and I ask you to come into my heart as my personal savior.  I believe and I receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Thank you, Lord Jesus Christ.

Amen!

Praise The Lord!
