Greetings My Friends;
The main definition of Providence is to provide. God is our great provider. You could probably write quite a few books about provision from God. He works for good for all those that seek Him.
Some people have the opinion that God has too much control of everything in our lives. People that feel that way are usually not believers so they don't know any better. The rest probably didn't take the time to find out what they are missing.
I did things my way for quite a few years. I was too ignorant at that time to see what was really happening. I thought I did pretty well under the circumstances, because I did not realize how good things could be. Looking back at all of the costly mistakes, stress, and unhappiness, I wonder why it took me so long to catch on.
The first thing you have to know is that God can change circumstances, you can't. God works in the spiritual world where all the power is. When you make the Lord your source, you also get the Holy Spirit.
If you are saved, what I will describe will work for you, or some variation that God and you figure out. Before I start telling you, I have to say I get in the way once in a while, but you learn to get back on track pretty quick. So don't be discouraged if you miss a little once in a while. Just look to the Lord and pull yourself up and start all over again.
God is the planner, the Holy Spirit is guide and teacher, and we are the tool in the natural world. God arranges people, places, things, and timing. When all is ready, he will let you know, then you and the Holy Spirit can start the next phase. Have patience.
Another benefit of doing all of this is your faith and trust in God will grow, and so will your blessings. It will become much easier to pray for something and have the required faith to make it happen. I don't want to leave the impression that if you follow this there will not be problems. There will be problems and maybe a few tests, but remember whose team you are on. Read the Word and you will see, we win!
Proverbs 16:9 a man's heart plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps.
Proverbs 16:3 commit your works to the Lord, and your thoughts will be established.
The thing you always have to keep in mind is that God's provision is limitless, and he is waiting to bless you with more than you can imagine.
God Bless You And Remember
Jesus Loves You
Prayer of Salvation;
"Oh God in Heaven, I believe with all of my heart that Jesus has been raised from the dead. I receive Your Word, and I repent of sin. I renounce the past. Come into my heart, Lord Jesus. I receive my forgiveness. I receive the new birth, cleansed and washed in the Word and in the precious blood of Jesus. Fill me with Your Spirit, in Jesus name. Amen"
This will be the back bone of my online Ministry. All are welcome to interact with each other while learning about God, the wonderful blessings he gives us and his compassionate forgiveness. I will give a verse from the Bible then explain in real world examples the meaning.

Grace and Favor
Greetings My Friends;
We have all heard of grace and favor. You may be asking yourself what is the difference between them. According to Strong's dictionary of Bible words, the Hebrew and Greek is identical for the most part. The words mean graciousness, benefit given, and basically blessing and kindness.
Proverbs 8:35 for whoever finds me finds life, and obtains favor from the Lord.
Ephesians 1:7 In Him we have reduction through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.
When you read the Bible, you begin to see the situations that pertain mostly to favor. Even though God is impartial, it looks like He has looked at the righteousness of some people in particular. These people were usually chosen for something special God had for them to do.
Luke 2:52 and Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.
Psalm 5:12 for you, O Lord, will bless the righteous; with favor you will surround him as with a shield.
1 Samuel 2:26 and the child Samuel grew in stature, and in favor with the Lord and men.
Luke 1:30 then the angel said to her, be not afraid Mary, for you have found favor with God.
Grace on the other hand is the means by which something is accomplished. It is a gift of God. It is not earned by works of any kind.
Ephesians 2:8 for by grace you have been saved through faith and that not of yourselves, it is a gift of God.
Ephesians 2:7 that in the ages to come he might show the exceeding riches of his grace and his kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.
If you look at everything you do during the day, you will find an outpouring of grace from God which enables you to do what you do. You take your next breath by the grace of God. We would not even be the smallest particle in the universe without the grace of God. Anything you do with your senses is by grace. Prayers are answered by faith and trust which is grace too. Grace is one of the most important things in our lives after Jesus and salvation.
So I guess you could sum it up this way. Everything that you feel led to do by the Lord, and you do it, by his favor you accomplish it. Absolutely everything in life, including the things we take for granted, is by the grace of God as a gift.

Access to God
Greetings My Friends;
I am starting this message by making a statement that many will dispute, and some will find hard to believe, while others will be comforted, and a relatively small amount of people already know. That statement is, we all have access to God.
God loves everyone, and wants every person to spend eternity with him. He is everyone's God, and he makes it pretty plain how we should be. It is all in His Word. Even if we are not saved yet, because He loves us so much, all we have to do is call on Him and believe in what Jesus accomplished on the cross, and accept Jesus as our personal Savior. We then become children of God
Hebrews 7:25 therefore He is also able to save to the other uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.{Speaking of Jesus} .
Hebrews 10:19 therefore brethren, having boldness to enter the holiest by the blood of Jesus.
James 4:8 draw near to God and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double minded.
The really big thing we must always remember about God, is His love for us is unconditional. His kind of love is as far from human love as is East from West. He never turned anyone away no matter what they have done, if they come to Him with a sincere heart.
We must all understand that He is our father. We can go to Him as easy as you can imagine. When we are born again, He is always with us because He is in us. He is as far from you as your heart. Speak to Him as you would the closest person to you.
What the Lord wants from you is your love, your faith in Him, and your love for others. He knows you will sin again, no matter how hard you try not to. If you go to Him and acknowledge your sins, you will find they are already forgiven.
In trying to describe God's love for us, words won't do it. I believe we won't really know the fullness of His love till we join Him in Heaven. If you want the best possible life on earth, and eternity in heaven, say the prayer of salvation out loud and with a sincere heart. Then you will be a joint heir with Jesus, and have the most loving father ever.

Confronting satan
Greetings My Friends;
One of the problems quite a few people have is being scared of satan. Don't get me wrong, he is not to be taken lightly, but he can be dealt with in Jesus name. At this point I would like to make some things clear in your mind. A number of well-respected teachers share these thoughts.
It is a fact that satan will try every trick he knows to get you to do what you know is wrong. Rebuking him or casting him out will definitely get him packing. Quoting Scripture is another great way to get rid of the devil.
Another way for him to attack you is to put sinful thoughts in your mind. There are many times he has actually put bad thoughts in someone's head while they were praying. Then he tells you what a sinner you are, and God will punish you.
There is a major flaw in what he says. If it is a passing thought, and everyone has them, you are not guilty. As usual he is a liar. If the thoughts pop in your head, just say, that's not my thought. It could be a sin if you accept the thought. The truth is that if you are a believer, most or even all of these thoughts at times are not sins.
satan can only do to you what you allow him to do. God has given you weapons to defeat satan every time. Jesus name and the armor of God, will defeat the most powerful demons in hell.
If you run around in a panic, rebuking satan every 5 min., instead of standing on the Word of God, you will make yourself sick, and satan stronger. When you see a parent constantly screaming at their child, the child ignores what they say, and will do it again and again just to get attention. The best thing to do is just to ignore him.
If you do not recognize satan's presence, you really hurt his pride. His whole problem stems from his oversized ego. It probably makes him nuts when he is ignored. he has no control over someone that doesn't pay any attention to him.
Remember that most of what you beat yourself up for, and satan condemns you for, is not a sin. And of course remember the mighty name of Jesus and the armor of God will always get you through.

Compassion
Greetings My Friends;
The Hebrew and Greek words for compassion define it as, to have pity on, to deal gently with, sympathy. How does Jesus feel about it? The Bible has a good deal to say about the subject.
Romans 12:15 rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep.
Galatians 6:2 bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.
Hebrews 5:2 he can have compassion on those who are ignorant and going straight, since he himself is also subject to weakness.
Proverbs 19:17 he who has pity on the poor lends to the Lord, and he will pay back what he has given.
We see people every day that to the carnal mind do not measure up to our standards. We need to start looking at people with spiritual eyes in this day and age. It is very easy to judge people. Any time you drive, you will find someone who is not courteous, or he looks for change when he stops in the tollbooth. The list goes on. Healthy looking young people park in handicapped spots. People leave grocery carts blocking a parking space.
We can all name dozens of irritants we run into every day. The fact is they are irritants, not a matter of life or death. Unfortunately when you encounter this kind of stuff over time the average person starts to judge and condemn everyone.
The Bible says we are to have compassion. We don't know what is behind anything that people do. It isn't our business anyway. We did not create these people so we cannot judge them. They may be ignorant, or maybe they just don't care, or maybe they are troubled in some way. Just bless them and move on.
About a half a dozen times in my life I have been approached by people in parking lots of stores, and once at a gas station. They all had stories and needed money. I didn't know if their stories were legitimate or not, so I helped each of them whether they needed five or $20. I was led by the Spirit to do this. After they left I thought that if they were legitimate or not was between them and God. Do it for him.
You never know who really needs help. A good percentage of people who are not working, are not able to for one reason or another. We don't know, and even if we did, let the Holy Spirit be your guide.
Some people are led by the devil and don't even know it. A lot of them were brought up that way and don't know how to be different. I believe if you help 10 people and only one is in need, it is better than denying all ten. You are following the Lords way, and he will reward you. In any case bless them all with a clean heart and you are blessing yourself. Just remember, the Lord has compassion on all of us, so we owe compassion to all those we meet.

Faith 2
Greetings My Friends;
This message is a continuation of the faith 1 message. As I have said before, I feel I am led by the Holy Spirit to write these messages. The things I write are from my personal experiences, things I have learned, and from what I feel are words of knowledge from the Holy Spirit.
One of the big beliefs I have, is about divine healing. I would like to clear up some concerns or beliefs about healing. I speak from personal experience and struggles. It may help you to know that you are not alone in your struggle.
Let us start with praying for yourself to be cured of some affliction. It doesn't matter what it is, it is all small potatoes to the Lord. There is nothing He cannot handle.
When you pray for healing, let's say an aching knee for example. We will assume you are a believer in Jesus. Put your hand on your knee and command it in Jesus name to be healed. Receive your healing. By doing this you are putting that healing in Jesus hands. You did your part by praying, trust Jesus to do his part. Remember that He never ever did not heal those who asked. He even healed some who didn't ask or were not Jews. Why not you?
There are other people who feel that they need an elder or some other person of faith to pray. There is nothing wrong with that. It works the same way. Belief in Jesus love and compassion is what makes it happen.
Now comes the part where most people have a difficult time. After the prayer they may still feel the pain. They wrongly think they are healed. It is just satan trying to nullify your healing. If he can get you to say something as simple as it still hurts, your body will believe it. Most healing is gradual, so hang in there, trust the Lord and speak faith filled words. If someone asks how you are feeling, just say you are standing on the word of God. Believe me, you have your healing. That's what the cross guaranteed.
Faith is not only for healing. Faith is for miracles whatever the problem is, and nothing is beyond the power of God.
Mark 9: 23 Jesus said to him "If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes".
Remember that whatever you pray, your belief is in the power of God to make it happen. Say – like you already have what you ask and it will manifest. satan will try his best to stop your miracle by trying to plant doubt in your mind. Ignore him and trust in God with all of your heart.

Faith 1
Greetings My Friends;
There are many verses in the Bible about faith. I will mention a few at the end of this message. They mean to you what the Holy Spirit reveals to you. The closer you are to the Lord, the more you will understand and hear from the Holy Spirit. You get that closeness by meditating on the word.
Romans 10:17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.
Now let's begin with meditating. I used to think that you had to follow an Eastern religion philosophy in order to meditate. Not so. Meditating is not exotic or complicated. Meditating simply means that instead of just reading a verse, think about what it says. Roll it around in your mind, and analyze it. Pray to the Holy Spirit for understanding, and He will help you to understand.
Many of us have had the idea that reading the Bible in a year was somehow religious. I have changed the way I think about that. The Bible in one year is good, but I feel I have had a revelation about the Bible. I go through a book and really look at each line. I have a notepad all of the time, and I take notes about my thoughts. I forgot to mention that before I read the Word, I ask the Holy Spirit for guidance, wisdom, understanding, and to remember what I read.
The Word of God is a seed that is planted in your heart. It grows by the grace of God and how you feed it. It seems to me a garden does not grow quite as well with an occasional sprinkle, as it does with regular deep watering. Meditating on the Word is the watering.
I now believe that if it takes a month to read a gospel for instance, but you really have an understanding of what you read, so what. There is no deadline, do what works for you.
It is easy to say all the correct things such as, Jesus loves me, He doesn't lie, His Word is good and you can count on it. It seems to me that while all of this true, it is only as true as you believe in your heart. Your heart is the key, not just the words.
Here are a couple of versus to start your meditations. Do it correctly, and you will know the truth in your heart.
Romans 4:21 and being fully convinced that what He had promised, He was also able to perform.
Ephesians 2:8 for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God.
John 6:47 most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me has everlasting life.

There are many verses in the Bible about faith. I will mention a few at the end of this message. They mean to you what the Holy Spirit reveals to you. The closer you are to the Lord, the more you will understand and hear from the Holy Spirit. You get that closeness by meditating on the word.

the devil
Greetings My Friends;
If you are human and alive, you have had many encounters with the devil. From the time you are very small, he has tried to influence you in every part of your life. You did or did not do many things that he planted in your head. I will explain that statement.
satan hates God, and satan hates you. If you think about doing something good, he will do his best to get you to forget it. He will provide you with any number of excuses to make you change your mind about the good deed.
satan will also plant bad things in your mind. He will tempt you to steal, cheat, and lie. He tries to influence how you feel about everything. People, your job, where you live, and what you do. He knows that God hates complaining, so he tries to put you in a situation where you will complain. It doesn't stop there. He even tries to get people to commit murder and all other kinds of violence. He has even convinced some people to kill themselves.
satan knows that God is a jealous God. The first commandment tells you that . satan will entice you with all sorts of worldly things to get your mind off of God. He will introduce you to porn, drugs, alcohol, adultery, gambling, and any other sin you can think of. He again will provide excuses for you to make it seem okay. He will tell you what you are doing is all right because you can handle it. He wants the pleasures of the flesh to be on your mind all of the time. Remember what occupies your mind the most becomes your God. satan does not do this stuff with people because he likes them, he just wants their company in eternity.
Another tool Satan has is doubt and fear. If he can get you to do either one, he wins. Doubt and fear are unbelief and lack of trust. When Jesus was on earth, unbelief grieved Him the most. He did not perform many miracles in his hometown because of the unbelief of the people.
Fear and doubt or unbelief is so serious that it will keep prayers from being answered. They literally opened the door for satan in your life. Did you ever stop to think that fear, doubt, unbelief is faith in satan? They accomplish his work in your life.
One more point. Why is it so hard to believe that God talks to you, when it is so easy to hear satan. Some comforting thoughts;
1 John 4:4 I am of God and overcome satan, for greater is He that is in me than he who is in the world.
James 4:7 I am submitted to God and the devil flees from me because I resist him in the name of Jesus.

Religion Versus Relationship
Greetings My Friends;
As Christians, many of us want to tell everyone about Jesus and what He has done for us. That is a very exciting thing to do. The only problem is that most people do not share our enthusiasm. Let's take a brief look at the population in general, and see what we are dealing with.
First let us look at the unbeliever. His faith is denying the need for, or the existence of God. His God is generally the things of the world. His appetite is for the pleasures of the flesh, and he doesn't want to hear about anything that he feels will interfere with his chosen lifestyle.
Most of these people can take the worst abominations, and delude themselves into thinking that everything is okay. A common excuse I have heard many times is, if it is wrong how come it is not mentioned in the Bible? That my friend is no excuse. Every conceivable sin cannot be mentioned for the simple reason it seems new times bring new sins. If you have a conscience, it will tell you what is wrong most of the time. Some people just ignore their conscience. The other excuses, if there is a God, he would send anyone to hell that is good.
The only thing I can tell you is, the Holy Spirit will guide you as far as who to talk to. You cannot make a believer out of someone. All you can do is plant the seed, that is your job, saving someone is the Lord's job.
Now let us take a brief look at religions. There are many religions out there, and each has a following. Most of them follow the Bible. The way they interpret the Bible is the big difference. Almost all if not all have man-made rules and rituals. Many believe that works will get you to heaven. Some spend very little time with the Word. There are however many people who seem to need the rigidity of most religions. They need to feel that they are doing something that will get them to heaven. They are living under the law of the old covenant. The rules and regulations that they have in their church seems to be a sort of security blanket for them.
There are some people who follow a particular rigid religion who have accepted Jesus as their Savior in every way, but they still need the formal religion in their own mind. They are still saved, and we should accept that. As long as they follow the Word, and have a relationship with Jesus, they are doing what they are led to do.
Christians on the other hand, follow the new covenant. What the Bible says we believe through faith. All of it. We believe Jesus died and rose from the dead for us. We were healed, sins washed away for all time, and we were saved and made righteous by grace through His death and resurrection.
When you believe what the Word says, it is very easy to have a relationship with the Lord. His spirit is in you, and yours is in Him. When you are saved you also receive the Holy Spirit as a teacher and guide. You can talk to Him as you would your father. The more you read the Word, the more you will love Him. You end up with peace such as you have never felt in your life, and you are never afraid of the Lord. Because of your relationship with the Lord you do not have any doubt where you will spend eternity.

Hang in There
Greetings My Friends;
This may seem like a funny title for this message, but it does fit. You don't have to try very hard to hear about all of the terrible things going on in the world. Even if you can mentally eliminate most of the sensationalism that is used to report the news, it is still pretty grim. I won't go into a big rehash of what you have already heard on the news, but will briefly mention a few things as they relate to my message.
Take a look at the world situation. It seems all you see or hear about is war, terrorism, famine, natural disasters as well as man-made disasters. It seems there is unrest in most of the world. The world economy is a disaster. People are suffering physically, mentally, and spiritually.
Come to our country. Yes there is plenty to get concerned about. Mass murderers, serial killers, and violence as a way of life to some people. We have elected officials that do not do what they were elected to do. Throw in a shaky economy, and high unemployment and it looks pretty hopeless.
I may sound simplistic, but I am going to give you yet another opinion.
Since Adam and Eve, this world is run by satan. Just look around and you can see his influence everywhere. He hates God, and he especially hates man. His goal is to make things so bad that man will curse God. He also makes illicit pleasures the highest priority for many people. He influences people to eliminate God from daily life. He wants everyone he can get a hold of, worried, miserable, and blaming God.
Now we come to the good part. Believers have the Word of God "the good news" this is a guide to life and salvation.
Psalm 9:9 "the Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble"
Psalm 145:20 "the Lord preserves all who love Him, but all of the wicked He will destroy"
Noah and his family were spared as were Lot and his family. The Lord can do all things, and He will do it for you if you believe. I believe the situation in the world is a wake-up call. The Lord wants to save as many as we can and help them accept Jesus as Savior.
Too many people reject the Bible without ever even looking at it. My question to you is, what have you got to lose? The world is what it is, but those who truly love the Lord will be spared. Heed the call. You are in this world, but do not be of it.

Dying to Self
Greetings My Friends;
How many times this have you heard that
statement? How about seek ye first the kingdom of God. If you are like I was,
the big question is, what does all of that mean?
I guess I had a few dreams in my life that have
stayed with me my whole life. Mine was a log cabin on a quiet lake in the
woods, away from everything. You look at your situation as far as your families
needs, the fact that you need to work, and you realize that this could take a
while.
Okay . So now you face up to the fact that this
dream falls into the area of retirement.
Well at least that puts it into the realm of possibility.
As you go through life and encounter problems,
you hang onto that dream to make yourself feel better. It becomes like a
security blanket. As life goes on, perhaps you start getting nervous about your
progress toward your dream. You might even start obsessing over it, thinking
about it all of the time. It could ruin your life if you let it.
Okay, the big day comes that you retire. There
could be new obstacles, such as the economy. If this dream has become an obsession, you
feel like you're going to crack up.
I have a little advice for you, regardless of
what your dream is. Let's go back to the first part of this message. In the
first place seeking the Kingdom of God is probably not as hard as you might
think. The Lord knows what you have to deal with. He does not expect you to be
on your knees 24 hours a day praying. He does however expect that you will put
Him first in your heart.
How hard is that to do? It isn't hard at all.
Read the Word every day. If you have to get up a half-hour early in order to
read a couple chapters, you'll find it is well worth it. Meditate on what you
read during the time your mind would be wandering.
Be the spiritual leader in your house. Again in
little ways, live as the word says. If you are young, or at any age really,
start out with the gospel of John to learn about Jesus love. Then go to
Ecclesiastes to find out what most of us have found to be true.
If you stop obsessing about your dream, your life
will be blessed. Your family will be happy. You may still get your dream, or
God might give you the desire for a better dream, and give it to you. Forget self,
let the Lord handle it.
IT wasn’t so hard, was it?
God Bless You and Remember

Dream # 2
Greetings My Friends;
I don't know why I am led to write about another dream, but here it is. This time a different message came out of it.
Two days after the first dream, I had this one. I was somewhere, but not at home. A woman was making a cookie or something, the size of a football. It looked like it and it had intricate scrollwork. At the same time someone else was making a green, mint flavor ice cream.
In my dream I asked my wife who this was for. She hesitated telling me so I asked, is it for Jake? She said no. Then I asked if it was for Josh and she said yes.
I then found myself standing in a doorway holding the confections that were made. The room was full of people sitting on couches that formed a large square. They were all well dressed, and each was holding something. They were waiting to see Jesus. The thought went through my mind, this isn't right, I better leave, I don't belong here. I asked Jesus to explain.
The people sitting in the waiting room were like a lot of people who made sacrifices at the Temple. Meaningless, because you cannot wait for God, you only insult him by doing it. The proper way for a Christian is to come through the door with your key.
You bring your bowl. In it you put the following items as appropriate at the time. Your sins, love, kind act's, charity, true gratitude, needs and wants, and anything else, such as health, finances, etc.
You must see yourself filling your bowl. Take your key, opened the door, and present yourself and your bowl to Jesus. Jesus never fails to give us what we ask, if we believe. He always makes sure we have an empty bowl for next time. By loving and trusting Him, we are praising Him.
For a perfect example of Jesus love for us I want to get back to the story of Josh that I mentioned at the beginning of this dream. I'm not sure exactly what this particular dream was about, other than the fact that it does show Jesus great love for those who love him.
Josh is my seven-year-old nephew. A while back he was diagnosed with the worst type of muscular dystrophy. The doctor said he would be in a wheelchair within two years, and probably not live through his teens.
His grandfather who was a strong believer, saw him.. He got family and friends praying. A couple of weeks later they ran another series of tests so they could come up with some kind of treatment. Only one problem came up, no more disease. No one could explain it. If those doctors weren't believers in Jesus love and power, I'll bet they are thinking about it now.
This is obviously a short version of the entire story. It is true, and I have no clue how this dream came into play in this story of Josh except for the fact that early on his name came up when I asked who all of this was about in the beginning of the dream. I do believe however, this is a perfect example, of the power of prayer and trust and belief in the Lord. Praise the Lord!

More On Prayer
Greetings My Friends;
The vast majority of people go through life
preoccupied with the job of living. Most of us have put ourselves on a schedule
that has us running all the time. It isn't always a question of time
management.
In our daily routine, we see quite a few people.
At work, on the way to work, on TV, you can't get away from people.
Occasionally someone is collecting for one charity or another, and you usually
give a buck or so, and it makes you feel better. Maybe you give regularly to an
organization like the Salvation Army. All of that is very good, and the Lord
will bless all the seeds planted with a clean heart.
At some point in time, you may see a preacher, or
someone doing a very charitable act. You may have thought that you would like
to be like that. Circumstances can be a roadblock, or you feel you are not
qualified, or God doesn't want you to step out because your faith isn't ready.
Well guess what. I have great news for you. It
could be that God's plan for you is one of the greatest thing you'll ever do.
That job my friend is to plant seeds.
One of the best things we can do is to help
people find Jesus and salvation. How do you do that? That's the best part, it
is easy. Anyone can do this anytime and anywhere. Any time you are out, get in
the habit of people watching. If you see someone driving and they give you or
someone else a break, just say to yourself and to the Lord, God bless you. Any kind
act, bless the people that hit your heart because they were probably sent by
God for you to bless them.
When you see a handicapped person bless them and
ask God to heal them. Years ago I got in the habit of asking God to help
whoever was in an ambulance that just went by. Bless everyone; God will put in
your heart when you should.
Now here's the best part. You pray from your
heart, and God does the rest. You have faith in Jesus to grow that Cedar
salvation. In that way many people will come to Jesus. Just quietly go about
your business and plant those seeds. A believer is sincere, loving prayer is
powerful. If you are not a believer yet, you will be planting your own
salvation seeds.
Don't let the devil put doubt in your heart. All
you have to do is trust Jesus faith and power and stop worrying about any
unbelief on your part. Just ask the Lord to help your unbelief and go on with
your job.

It's Just Stuff
Greetings My Friends;
Over the years I have tried to lead a simple
life. Sometimes needs or wants complicate a plan like that. We are conditioned
to want what we see, or what someone else has. The goal of advertising is to
get you to buy which you didn't even know you wanted or needed. A lot of people
get hooked.
An average income family may have difficulty
making it on their income, simply because they have strayed from taking care of
their needs, to letting their wants rule them. It is easy for satan to take a
situation like that and really mess with you. He can make it so you see wants
as needs. He will tell you that you cannot live without whatever the thing of
the moment is.
After that prepare for self-pity, arguments, and
all sorts of problems. As less money is available because of charges on loans,
things get progressively worse. It can get you to the point that you are so
obsessed with stuff, that your life is totally ruined. Even your family can be
just as bad off as far as depression and worry.
The sad part is that if you walk around your
house and start adding the cost of all of the must haves that you haven't even
used, you will probably get sick the best way to win at this game is a way many
people have a problem accepting, seek the Lord.
If you believe in the Lord, you have a head
start. He will provide for all of your needs. He is your source. Tithe
regularly, it is in the Bible. Many people feel that they are losing whatever
they give. Just the opposite is true. Try this. Suppose you want a coffee pot,
take that money and your loving heart and give it to someone in real need.
After a while, you'll talk about how your luck
has changed. An expense you expected came out much better than you expected,
you got a real good deal on something, or you got a raise. That my friends is
blessings from the Lord not luck. You probably won't even realize it at first.
You will find yourself making smarter purchases and not ending up with stuff
you don't use so when you put it all together you're actually better off than
you ever thought possible just because you're doing things the right way.
Just follow what the Bible says. Make Jesus your
God and not stuff your God. Jesus is forever, stuff is what was once something
someone could not live without, today's garbage. If you put stuff in proper
perspective, you will have a happy life.

A New Look At Faith
Greetings My Friends;
Faith is a very interesting thing. It makes some
people happier than they have ever been, and most of the rest of the people
walk in fear or doubt.
Little by little my own faith has grown to the
point where I really do believe for anything. I used to have my share of doubt,
and that bothered me. If you are a true
believer, there are a few things in the Bible that require a real stretch of
faith.
I started to read books from some of the old-time
preachers and healers like Wigglesworth, Spurgeon, Bosworth, Lake, and Hagan. I
wanted to see what if anything they had in common. They all had tremendous
mountain moving faith no matter what the circumstances.
So I went to the Word and looked for verses on
faith and promises that were in such plain language that even a five-year-old
could understand it.
Romans 4:21 "and being fully convinced that
what He promised He was also able to perform"
Matthew 21:22 "and whatever things you ask
in prayer, believing you will receive"
Mark 9:23 Jesus said to him "if you can
believe, all things are possible to him who believes"
There are literally hundreds of promises in the
Bible. They all require that a person believe. As I looked through everything,
including a few of my own experiences, I started to reason with my mind. If
even one of these promises is not true, then all of them become suspect,
including salvation. And if that is true, then Jesus died for nothing.
Let's look at some facts. Jesus worked an amazing
number of miracles. These were documented. He gave power to disciples to do
what he did. Again this is true. Jesus never said no to healing someone, no
matter who they were. He loved everyone. He could have just decided to forget
about his crucifixion. Plus the fact that countless prophecies were fulfilled
by him.
The preachers I mentioned all healed people and
led them to salvation in Jesus Christ. This pretty much refutes the argument
that miracles were only for the time of Christ. One last thing. Take a look at
yourself and the world. If you think about how complex even the simplest thing
is, and everything that has to work perfectly, you have to believe in an
Almighty Creator.
After this exercise, I could reach only one
conclusion. And that is that it is all true. The Word of God is the Word of
God. I do not understand some things, but because it is the Word, I choose to
believe. After I finally realized all of this, my faith blossomed. So you see
even the human brain cannot argue about faith. Choose to believe for a blessed
life.

A Dream
Greetings My Friends;
I was awakened one morning at 3 AM. You see, I had a dream and in it I was crying so hard
it woke me up.
In my dream, I saw three men dressed like Jesus.
There was a rough hewn table such as you would expect to see 2000 years ago.
One of the men handed me what looked like an ice cream bowl. It had tomato
slices in it. He said go and give this to the Lord. I hope He doesn't get sick.
I took the bowl and said are you kidding, he is bulletproof.
At this point I realized that I was dressed the
way they were. I looked down and saw my dirty feet, with worn-out old sandals.
The next thing I knew, I was standing in front of
a huge wooden door. It was rough looking like the table. It had a big
old-fashioned lock. Jesus was inside that room. All of a sudden I had a house
key size in my hand, and was surprised to see that it open the lock.
Then I was in the room, it had no furniture. What
it did have was the overpowering feeling of Jesus presence, love, and forgiveness.
I started crying and I walked toward him. I walked like a man dying of thirst
in the desert. As I walked, I kept trying to see Jesus, but the closer I got
the more I cried. I got so frustrated, because I could feel his presence and
love, but could not see him. My crying was uncontrollable. I woke up and the
bowl was gone.
I was puzzled by some of the things in my dream,
so I asked the Lord to explain the dream to me. The locked door was not to keep
Jesus in, it was to keep people out. The key to the lock is the Word. Jesus
people have that key; they just have to use it. It is just like your house,
your children have a key to get in.
The bowl with tomato slices represented my
sentence. My garden has many tomatoes, so I guess it's a good example. The
three men and I were dressed like people in Jesus day, because we are his
people. The, bowl disappeared because Jesus took care of it.
As I said, it was a dream. Make what you will out
of it. Maybe you have had a dream like this. I don't know why I was led to
write about it, but there it is.

No Condemnation
Greetings My Friends;
One of the most effective tools the devil has is
condemnation. He goes after believers and those who are getting close to
salvation. He tries to deceive everyone, because that is what he is good at. It
comes in a number of ways, but we will look at the most common.
He will work on giving you or your loved ones as
many problems as he can. You may get the flu, your car breaks down, anything
that he feels will make you feel sorry for yourself. If you buy his deceit, he
will surely keep adding to it. He knows if you feel sorry for yourself, and he
planned it that way, to get you to start blaming God. He is relentless, don't
fall for it.
Along with giving you problems, he will also try
to plant condemnation in your mind. He will tell you things like, God is punishing
you because of something you did. He can come up with condemnation all day
long. The more you fall for it and accept it the more he does. He wants you to
feel so frustrated and condemned about yourself that you turn away from God.
The next step is doubt. He will tell you you're a
hypocrite. If you really love God you would not have done all of the terrible
things you did. How can God possibly love you, or how could someone like you
ever get to heaven?
Sounds pretty hopeless right? Not so. Remember by
grace we are saved, and not by works, lest any man should boast. You do not
have to accept anything the devil throws at you. Your love for God is not a
feeling. If you are saved, your spirit loves God and is one with him. Your
brain is the problem. So you have to work on your brain.
During the day, as many times as you can think of
it, just say Jesus help me. Jesus delivered
you from all sin and from condemnation for all time. Even if you don't
feel it, believe it. If you remember to read the following verses every day and
believe, your brain will soon get the idea. These are just a few, check out the
Word for more.
1 Corinthians 12:27 "I am the body of Christ
and satan hath no power over me"
1 John 4:4 "I am of God and have overcome satan.
For greater is He who is in me than he who is in the world"
James 4:7 "I am submitted to God and the
devil flees from me. Because I resist him in the name of Jesus.

Where Is God ????
Greetings My Friends;
If you look around, it is very easy to feel less than
positive about the whole
World. If you are
like most people the news is downright depressing. It
seems that as things get worse, so do people.
You hear about killings on the street, and people say
"how could God allow
that"? Terrorists blow up a bus, and people ask about
where is God?
As all of this is going on, did you ever hear someone say
"how does the
devil, come up with such carnage, or why did satan do that?
No matter how
disgusting something gets, no one blames satan. If people
get sick, get
cancer, have an accident, they blame God not satan.
People complain that with God, there is no freedom of
choice. It seems to
me, the very people that are doing all of these dreadful
things, are in fact
exercising their freedom of choice. God would not be God if
he didn't allow
you to make a choice.
Some people eventually come to realize they need God, and
they make that
choice. God is waiting for them, but He forces no one. Back
to the question,
where is God? Let's take an honest look at that.
This country was founded on biblical principles. Our
government
recognized the need for God in running the country and
making laws. For
100 years or so we followed that idea. This country was
blessed.
I am picking the year 1950 as a starting point of a real
slide in America.
People started slipping away from God and the Bible. A
little at first but it
just kept growing. Whether we were getting too sophisticated
for God, or
started replacing Him with stuff, or a combination of
things, it started.
We somehow followed a new God. That God was called political
correctness. Along came abortion, homosexual marriage, God taken out of
government and its buildings, out of schools, and the list
goes on. People
that say they don't believe in God go out of their way to
remove Him from
sight. If they don't believe, why do they care?
It seems people spend plenty of time reading the Bible to
see whatever
angers God the most, and then passing a law to violate the
Bible. Add to
this the fact that God is absent from most homes, because
traditional
values are no longer there.
Where is God? Our laws, political correctness and people
under the
influence of satan, took Him entirely out of their lives.
Since God allows
free will and does not impose Himself on anyone He must stay
out of it.
Praise the Lord for his grace and mercy for those who love
Him,

Jesus Love Renewed
Greetings My Friends;
When we accept Jesus, it is the best day of our
lives. We find out how much He loves us from His Word, and realizing all the
blessings we should be thankful for. I think that even if you read the word
every day, most people gradually start to lose that first love feeling. Once
the excitement goes away it just becomes ordinary.
I was feeling a little down one day, so I prayed
about it. I still believed Jesus loves me, but it wasn't quite the same. Well I
got my answer pretty quick. Putting it in carnal terms, I was taking God for
granted and I realized He was not the problem, I was. He didn't love me any
less, and I did not love Him any less, so what was the reason?
Let's compare it to a good marriage. They had the
initial excitement when they fell in love. That life. Time goes by, kids come
along, maybe a little tight financially, but in spite of it all their feelings
don't change toward each other. They just fell into the old trap of taking each
other for granted. The spark is there, but the fire is very small.
You fan the spark into a big fire with a little
effort. Tell each other every day how much you love each other. A special meal,
bring flowers home just because she likes flowers. There doesn't have to be a
reason. Have a date night once in a while, do little things for each other.
You'll soon see what you have been missing.
Now let's get back to Jesus. He still loves you
the same, but you have taken Him for granted. Your inner man is trying to tell
you that. Think of how you were when you first got saved, as the old saying
goes stick with what works. Don't get down on yourself, just pull yourself up
by your bootstraps, and go from there.
Read the Word every day. Every time you think
about it, say to yourself Jesus loves me, and I love Hm. Make the effort,
you're not that busy. Even little things you do out of kindness to someone else
shows love. You don't have to overdo it, just do it. When you get a chance to
witness to someone, do it. Whenever I do, I can't help getting excited. It's
like a high without drugs.
I may be completely wrong, but I think another
problem is that some men have a difficult time loving a man. Get over it, He is
God your Savior. You have to put some effort into any relationship to keep it
fresh. Don't take God or anyone else for granted.

Can God Use You????
Greetings My Friends;
A lot of people are called by God to do something. It is his plan for you and if you don't follow the call you will miss out on the blessings of the plan. There are a number of situations that come up in a person's life that can hinder them if they let it.
The first situation is that you don't believe that God could possibly use you, so you ignore that quiet little voice in your heart. Too bad. What you may not realize is that it matters what God thinks, and if he thinks you are the one for the job, who do you suppose is right? God has always chosen most of his servants from the unlikely to the dregs of society. So if you're just average, why not you?
Another thing that happens is, we fail to see things from the spiritual outlook. If God wants you to do something, He will give you what you need to do the job, including a helper called the Holy Spirit. If you keep in touch with the Word and the Holy Spirit, you will do things without even realizing you are being guided. Things will just fall into place, and as you complete a step, the next step pops up. Just relax, talk to and listen to the Holy Spirit, and enjoy the ride.
Sometimes when friends, coworkers, and especially family members find out what you are doing, you'll probably get a lot of strong, negative reactions. They will have a hard time accepting what you are doing because they see you as just a regular person who they have known for a long time. Remember that Jesus faced the same thing. People even in his own family did not believe in him until after His resurrection. People saw Him not as the Messiah, but the carpenters son.
I hate to keep mentioning problems, but here goes. As you go about doing what you are led to do, especially at first, you may fall back into the carnal way of seeing and thinking. I think it would be foolish for most people to think that it couldn't happen to them. Maybe things are going slower, are not looking as good as we think. Just let God handle it, He is in charge, and He knows how it should progress.
One of the biggest problems is satan. He is always there trying to discourage you and will try to put doubt in your mind. He will say things like, do you really think God would use someone like you? He will surely bring up your past in order to condemn you. Just tell him you are not that person because of God's saving grace. You have to tell him that he has no power over you in Jesus name, and ignore him. Pray or pick up the word and he will take off like a bat out of you know where. Praise the Lord!
I tell you the things because most of it has happened to me, and I want you to know you are not alone. Just hang in there and do what your heart tells you.

Your Destiny
Greetings My Friends;
I think many believers go through a period , or a
series of periods where they are trying to find the will of God. Welcome to the
club. I used to wonder what God's plan for my life was. I listened to CDs and
read a couple of books. The idea was there in the CDs and books. The problem
was that something can be so obvious that you don't notice it, or it isn't what
you expected, so you ignore it.
I will explain my experience in the hope that it
helps you. First of all clear your mind of any preconceived ideas. The best way
is to read the Word, and ask the Holy Spirit to advise you. You may get an
answer quickly, but don't expect it that second. Sometimes a certain amount of
patience is required.
Okay. You have prayed and read the word. Out of
nowhere comes a thought. Pray about that, and keep yourself out of it as much
as possible. After a while start basic steps. Read about what is involved with
your idea. Find out everything you can. One of two things will happen, you'll
give up on the idea, or you will take the next step. Something inside you is
stirred up finally, and you focus on that desire and pursue it.
As you get more involved, if you are going in the
right direction, you will get more and more convinced that you are doing what
you are supposed to do. Everything seems to flow. I believe that with most of us, the Lord goes
one step at a time. As you complete a step, he is your next step. Very seldom
do we get the whole picture at once. I think that is basically to help us keep
from ignoring God's timing and trying to do it ourselves. Sure disaster if we
try it on our own.
Sometimes it is very hard to stay out of it. You
may get a step that doesn't make sense to you, but that's okay, that's not your
plan. Just have faith and keep on going. God has all of the pieces, and he
knows how they all fit, and what the outcome is supposed to look like. Don't
get all frustrated and worried if you haven't got a clue about God's plan. He
knows where you are, and when he thinks it's time, it will happen. Just be
prepared and believe.

Prayer of Salvation;
"Oh God in Heaven, I believe with all of my
heart that Jesus has been raised from the dead. I receive Your Word, and I
repent of sin. I renounce the past. Come into my heart, Lord Jesus. I receive
my forgiveness. I receive the new birth, cleansed and washed in the Word and in
the precious blood of Jesus. Fill me with Your Spirit, in Jesus name.
Amen"
